When the Holofeed first lit up with the job, the mind of every Retrade member immediately became nervous. It was not often that one came across a job assignment to hunt down another member of the Retrade. The target, Darek Ihirov, was a intelligent man and had been a valuable asset to the Retrade. He was now expendable. Darek Ihirov's specialty was slicing and eluding captors, and as such there had been some delay in tracing the man down. By the time they had deduced his intent, Darek had already boarded the passenger liner Amara's Grace. The ship's course wasn't predetermined, and as such Retrade members had blanketed a number of likely rest stop points on the ships journey to Coruscant.

It was on the edge of the Cato Neimodia system, away from the front lines of the war and the incessant Alliance patrols, that the ship made it's first stop, and it was there that it would, fortune willing, make it's last. A small, seemingly derelict shuttle broadcast a distress signal at the most opportune moment, and soon the Amara's Grace was unwittingly saving the very crew that would be it's downfall. The rickety shuttle glided into the vessels small hanger, and Duthorian Blackguard nodded to the other men aboard the vessel: Yuri Sharp and Zak Cornet, each man more than capable of killing Darek Ihirov.

"Time to get paid," Duthorian said as he stroked the repeater he had named 'Ira'. He turned his attention to Yuri, one of the more respected members in the Retrade, and raised an eyebrow as the crew aboard the passenger ship knocked on the hatch. He tossed some com pieces to the others and put his own in, tapping it to make sure it was on. "First things first, we need to knock out the communications and disable the life pods. If we start blasting before we do that, system patrol will get here, or Ihirov will escape." He pulled out a cigarette and planted it in his mouth, lighting it and taking time to suck on it. He secured his weapons deep within his jacket, it was unlikely that the crew would be paranoid enough of pirates to search him this close to the Core. "After that, we can either do this the nice way, or we can shoot everyone."

Catching the tossed communication unit Yuri put it in his ear, nodding to Duthorian that it was working. Tapping the Mandalorian issued M-1 vibro-blade hidden on the inside of his black flight jacket the man had nothing else on him, aside from a blaster pistol that he didn't really plan on using. "It's time indeed." Standing up the rugged human was "desperate" right now. His ship had suffered some kind of malfunction and needed help. Luckily these brave souls saved them! Yeah that was the story they were going in with.

Darek Ihirov. Quite the capable slicer from what Yuri was told. Never got to meet him though, which made the dark haired man perfect for this job, as Darek hadn't seen his picture either. Seems like Jack, Lorelei and the Guildmaster had situations such as these in mind when the Retrade was brought back to life. Remembering the picture of their target Yuri focused on the task at hand. Lean, almost skinny, short dark hair and a beard, brown eyes and barely six foot tall. Whatever his excuse was for leaving the Retrade, it didn't matter. The Commander of the RRT wouldn't allow this to go down. All their hard work wouldn't be ruined by a guy who all of a sudden got a conscience.

"Easy now boys..." The hangar doors to their ship opened, and the flight officer of the Amara's Grace walked inside, a bit unsure at first. "My friend! Thanks you so much!" Not wasting any time in this the highest ranking Retrade member took it upon him to deal with the guys in charge of the ship while Duthorian and Zak scouted the ship and disabled the communications and the life pods, while also looking for their little runaway friend. Depending on whichever way his two friends went Yuri would take the other way in their little search. But first he had some thanks to give out.. He needed to play the role of stranded captain who sucked at being a mechanic...

Zak Cornet caught the device sent his way, securing it behind his ear. Checking his dual pistols before hiding them underneath his heavy clothing. "Let's get started shall we." Their target was on Zak's mind. This man was the reason why he was here, because there was some hefty credits on his head.

The hangar doors opened and a man walked in. He watched as the highest ranking of the three played victim. Thanking the man for letting them on board the Amara's Grace. Zak couldn't help but smile as the man fell for what would soon be a disaster on board the very ship he served. A costly disaster for them, and one of good fortune for him and the other two.

Duthorian sucked hard on his cigarette, more out of habit than any need to search for a relief to his stress. One of the attendants who as speaking to Yuri glanced at Duthorian's cigarette slightly, then back to Yuri, then again back to Duthorian with a hint of surprise and disgust.

"Excuse me, sir, you can't do that here!" Duthorian glanced about, as though a fly were buzzing about his head annoying him. The annoying voice rang out again and the man stood in front of him flailing his arms, trying to get his attention. "No smoking in the hangar, sir! Sir! It's against safety pro--" Duthorian flicked his still-lit cigarette at the pitiful wretch with a sneer, the man hopped about to pick it up and scurried away.

With a sigh Duthorian turned to Yuri with a grunt. "Great. Hey buddy, I need to take a leak," he said, patting Yuri on the shoulder while he spoke to the captain. Another one of the attendants tried to talk to him, but Duthorian waved him off and headed towards the door that lead towards the aft of the vessel. The door hissed open, and Duthorian reached into his pocket and grabbed another smoke. "I'll hit the comms and life pods. You guys, sweep the ship for Ihirov," he said into the device in his ear, the smoke from the cigarette trailing behind him as he walked. He pulled open a datapad and glanced over Ihirov's dossier; it was unlikely the picture matched his appearance anymore, and he might have been a slicer but he was probably armed. He was, afterall, on the run from the shadiest organization in the Galaxy.

And while his two co-workers left the ship it seemed like Yuri was stuck exchanging pleasantries with the man who came to greet them, and inspect that they weren't some ruffians. God forbid some unpleasant folk arrived with intentions of causing trouble! Stuck with talking to the man as to not raise suspicion on them Yuri and the shorter man exited the, Retrade-provided, ship with Yuri shaking the man's hand and thanking him once more. "Again I can't thank you enough." The official had a big proud smile on his face, feeling like a hero and saying that anyone would have done the same. Deep inside Yuri grinned, precisely, every good citizen would have done exactly the same.

And that was why public transportation was a bad idea. It was pretty easy to get lost, and lose your pursuers using that method of transportation but when you opponent was the Ona'bak Retrade... "Anyhow could you tell me if there's a quiet part of the ship, somewhere where I could answer some messages about our current situation?" The question served a very clear purpose, Yuri suspected Ihirov would retreat somewhere quiet where people wouldn't disturb him or recognize him, so his search led him to a small, business, area that really reminded one of a library.

Quite a few people sitting, answering messages on their datapads, and so Yuri started his search of Darek. "I'm in the South section of the ship. Nothing yet." He made sure to keep his TranspariPad close to his ear, making it seem like he was making a call, but his voice low enough to he wouldn't be heard.

Zak walked off of the ship while Yuri talked to the man. He walked to the hangar's exit and looked around the corridor. He spotted a refresher and walked down to it. He opened the door and walked in. A minute later he stepped out and headed for the front of the ship, he would start his search for Darek at the front and make his way back. He reached the ship's bridge and the blast doors opened. Barely even taking a step inside the bridge a man ran up to him.

"I'm sorry sir but you're not authori-"

"It's okay, I only came to see how long til we get to Coruscant."

The man seemed to relax a little, but was still stiff. "If the Captain tells us to leave right now we'll be there in four hours." Zak nodded and thanked the man for the information. Turning his back and heading back the way he came, he start searching the front part of the ship. Making sure no one was around he spoke into the earpiece. "Did you all hear that? We have at least four hours before we reach Coruscant."
