Mandalore

The ship jostled slightly as it touched down on the landing pad, shaking Reland from his thoughts. He, along with several other Senators, had organized the delivery of medical and other supplies to the war-torn world of Mandalore.

He put away the datapad and made his way to the landing ramp of the Senatorial Transport ship. While he had been a Mandalorian Senator for some time, this was his first time actually on the Mandalorian homeworld. While they were here on a mission to deliver and distribute aid to the people, there were rumors about an element within the Mandalorians that didn't want to see fighting end and did anything they could to disrupt the peace process.

Two guards fell into line beside him as he stepped out onto the platform. Other ships were arriving, most were transport ships carrying a large number of the supplies they had been able to muster together but others contained the rest of Senators who had worked on this project.

Reland Vos wore practical enough clothes, carrying a medical bag with him. He looked more like a scientist that he did a politician. There were times he thought it would have been better if he would have just stuck with practicing medicine that trying his hand at politics.

"Make sure we unload supplies quickly, I want to start distributing before sunset," he said to one of the supervisors overseeing the unloading process before making his way to a nearby ship where the ramp was just beginning to lower.

Her skills in the medical field were rudimentary at best. She didn’t belong here whatsoever, and she felt as if every other soldier was going to shoot her in the head. When she heard a fellow Senator was coming to aid, she was a mixture of relieved and thrilled. She promptly left the little camp she had set up and went to meet the man.

She had taken a personal transport over to the landing pad he had arrived on, ensuring that she was there to greet him. She arrived just in time to spot him coming down the ramp, accompanied with two guards. She felt like a fool not having any bodyguards of her own. After having lost a few, Keira felt entirely too guilty to ask anyone else.

Keira made her way to the Senator, smiling as she approached him, “Senator Vos is it?” She came towards him, extending her hand to shake his, “I’m Keira Zale of Tirahnn. I can’t tell you what a relief it is to have you here,” She looked around and lowered her voice, “It’s a little overwhelming here if you don’t know the culture.”

She drew back and looked at all the supplies he was bringing in, “There’s been a lot of infighting since the last Mand’alor died, but I’m sure you’re used to this kind of thing,” Keira looked back towards where her medical tent was.
