Where did my brave side go?
It was beaten by thieves,
who snatched with no hands,
said they promised to
Take us to enchanted lands.
And I hope you understand.

Just like falling leaves,
from the sky, we'd never touch the ground,
So I dare to shovel dreams that we have found.
I'm tired of being gagged and bound.

Strengths and Weaknesses:
Aside from his considerable powers in the Hidden Art, especially for one so young and untrained, Reron in fact has few other strengths. His incredible talent for the Art has prevented Reron from pursuing other fields, and so this acts as both a strength and weakness, depending on the situation. Despite this near-fanatical level of study, Reron still manages to take time to train with the lightsaber, and is reasonably skilled in the lightsaber form of Shii-Cho.

Gear:
Reron, as many other Jedi, never goes anywhere without the standard equipment for one who leads such a dangerous lifestyle - medkit, food capsules and small hydro pills in case of emergency, and of course standard issue rough-spun Jedi tunic and robes. Aside from this, Reron is equipped only with a Jedi Lightsaber, though Reron did not construct this particular blade. As a Padawan learner, Reron has been issued the lightsaber of a former student, until he has the time and skills necessary to build his own.

Personality:
Reron, like many Chandrilans, is incredibly blunt, often to the point of offending others. However, this is rarely shown, as Reron rarely ever speaks. Reron has severe issues with his proficiency in the Art, as it cripples his ability in the Orthodox Force. Consequently, as a Jedi, he does poorly, often having to 'fake' Jedi powers to even reach acceptable standards of Force mastery in Jedi classes. At the same time, he fears his powers, as they were responsble for his parent's death, and though he uses them frequently, is consistently afraid of an outcome beyond his control.

Reron also holds some resentment towards his master, Tyrn Lightell, due to the fact that Tyrn encourages Reron's art, which the boy sees as an evil and terrible thing. This is also a reflection of Reron's self-perception - he fears and hates himself as he hates and fears his powers. And so, Tyrn also recieves the same treatment, due to the Master's own proficiency in the Art.

An Ancient Art...

Thousands of years ago, one Sith Warlock known as Grakon uncovered a terrible power that threatened to turn the galaxy on its head. Unaware of the side-effects these powers had on the physical body of the user, Grakon obliterated himself in his own pride and naivete. Many, many years later a coterie of Sith once again uncovered this power, and in their short period of existance, the amount of knowledge of this art came rapidly, and these Warlocks came to be of increidble might, though their power was their undoing. Officially labeled as Mancery, the Hidden Art was once again placed into secrecy with the fall of the coterie of Warlocks who labeled themselves Mancers, though this was by far the end.

The knowledge of the Hidden Art is known to very few, but what knowledge is known is that the practitioners of the Hidden Art rely on secret wells of power known as 'nodes' to amplify their power. The method of tapping or even detecting this power is, however, unknown, and it is theorized by many that these nodes are in fact hidden versions of the Force Nexus that the Jedi Temple on Coruscant is built above, though there is no accurate way to confirm this information. The art of drawing on a node's power is incredibly difficult and often causes the body to begin to deteriorate through excessive use. There is also knowledge of an 'aftersickness' of sorts which can leave practitioners practically defenceless.

Those who do practice the Hidden Art in the modern day have appeared from the shadows, their past history incredibly varied and diverse, and - even stranger - these practitioners have nothing in common, nor are they even aware of each others existance. One thing many of these practitioners of the Hidden Art have in common, however, is that they all seem to remember or recognize a grandfather figure, many of the more primitive or religious practitioners deifying the Grandfather as a bringer of gifts, a mighty power who has the ability to teach others what many once took decades to learn. The existance of the Grandfather is debatable, however - almost all sources on the topic depict the Grandfather in a different manner, as having different powers and even a different presence in the Force. These variations are unexplainable, and it may be that the infant minds that have seen (or claim to have seen) him percieve the presence of the Grandfather differently. Believers or followers of the Grandfather are collectively known as the Grandchildren.

Witnesses to practitioners of the Hidden Art in use are few and far between, but many records of the Mancers of old still exist, though the authors are often primitive or incredibly misinformed. These records state a variety of powers, from the ability to control and manipulate the elements, the creation of physical barriers and null-force zones, even the summoning of phantoms and horrific creatures in some cases, though it is assumed poetic licence applies to many of these reports. If, however, those who can use the Hidden Art can do as is said, then they are terrible foes, indeed. Furthermore, it is supposed that these practitioners' use of their power is undetectable for the most part to the more orthodox users of the Force, as they are not attuned or trained to detect the nodes these strange beings use, let alone detect the draining of said nodes.

In conclusion, if found, a practitioner of the Hidden Art is a rare and powerful beings and, despite the numerous faults this method of Force usage has, the powerful results, if as accurate as reports claim, are devestating.
