Hi team,
I thought I'd migrate from @Richie B. 's profile to here. Sorry for any repetition (pardon the very poor pun).

@Jacob Flores & @Kyle: The Rogue , please can you clarify where you are standing? Are you in the corridor or aiming at it? You can see us: can we see you? If not, why not?

Sorry if I'm just being slow

@Ulysses they are further down the hallway hiding behind some crates. We can see some movement as they try to look at us.

The hallway itself is straight, have a few doors on either side. And one last door on the other side. Up to you how you wish to proceed. Also we have crates besides us which we can use for cover.

In my post, I put us as farther down the hallway you two are in, and we moved up to maybe 3 feet or so behind the crates you mentioned, pressed up against the wall inside their shadows. @Richie B. and I decided that when we peek out to see you, you guys can see movement, but not a specific shape like that of a Mandalorian helmet (due to the shadow).

How far are you from those crates?

@Kyle: The Rogue there were a number of crates, I said there were two right next to me and @Ulysses where do you wish to have the crates be for you two? It's up to you, I believe I posted how long the hallway is, if not you can control how long it is and should put down how far you are from us

I was thinking if you two were to look directly down the hallway, there would be 2-3 more crates, in between some doors on either side of the hallway.

Hi team, I'm just trying to picture the effect of grenade:
The corridor is staggered with crates that take up half the corridor at about chest height.

Danso is behind a right hand crate, Richard a left
There are 2-3 crates between them and the mandos in some configuration (Ji'Kel in front?)

The grenade lands in front of the front mando

It gets flicked back in its last second - along the floor or into the air?
The mandos don't explicitly mention ducking for the explosion, do they?

It doesn't really matter whether it is flicked up or on the ground it would explode and create a large ball of smoke.

As per what the mandos are doing if they didn't write it, then it didn't happen. @Ulysses

if its up, then there's a lot of explosion in the face...
If its floor, it's just smoke and debris

@Dark Lord Kyle can I clarify some details?

Geography: there is no crate opposite Nomad - they are all staggered (see diagram above) presumably he goes behind rather than back to the one he has just jumped back from? If so he would have to either crawl or walk round.

Timing: Richard advances rapidly while the dust and smoke settles and in any event is in front of the worst of the smoke because in front of the explosion site, yet in that time it takes to walk (aggressively) 10 ft or so, Ji'Kel has got round the crate, taken cover, primed two (!) grenades (priming one grenade is fiddly enough, using both hands, let alone two), and thrown them into the smoke. I suspect that, as written, Richard would emerge to catch Ji'Kel still taking cover - or at the latest he would just miss him by a fraction of a second.

It feels a bit meta to ask this, but you did not specify a fuse time.

Finally, I'd just like to register that I feel that pushing a grenade from the other side of a large crate, jumping back and then twisting mid-air to ensure that blaster bolts coming from the direction of your feet conveniently hit the same shoulder pad over a prosthetic limb is on the limit of someone's abilities, even a force user.

I'll clarify those questions a little later (I'm in school right now) but first I'd just like to say I haven't been getting notified about posts in this thread, so I didn't know about the crates or whatnot.

Oh, that's frustrating

No rush - I'd just ask for a little leeway on my own time out depending on when that is

In my mind, here's what happened.

In my mind, Ji'Kel had jumped back almost parallel to the ground and twisted his body to try and avoid the blaster bolts, and two bolts hit his shoulder pad because he twisted to avoid the others. After that he landed/rolled behind another crate (as shown above) and primed two thermal detonators for 5 seconds before throwing them backwards over his head (and the crate) towards the other two (they landed in the general vicinity of where they're shown above).

Does that clear things up?

Just will like to report how stupidly amazing you guys are for how you are describing the battlefield. Seriously it's genius!!!

I will attempt to get a post up today or tomorrow as power is limited and my wifi is down I have limited options.

They are 5 foot wide and 4 foot high - a forward dive?
