BIOGRAPHY
Born many decades prior to the war between the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances and the New Sith Imperium, some might say that Rellis Elegin is just a relic from another era. He hails from Asmeru, a world in the Senex-Juvex sector that is shared between his family, House Elegin, and arguably the most powerful one, House Vandron. Rellis was raised in the typical fashion of a nobleman: taught the intricacies of diplomacy and statesmanship, some military tactics and strategy, proper manners and galactic history. His family also provided him with the best self-defense instructors and tutors that credits could buy to teach the boy marksmanship and martial arts. He was especially interested in history, philosphy, and politics, studying them intently and spending much of House Elegin's money on acquiring rare volumes and scriptures. Rellis put together a very extensive library over the years (though since House Elegin is rich, it barely put a dent in their credit accounts) which he used to further his studies and understandings of those subjects.
Over the course of his life, Rellis was present in many negotiations and dealings as a member of House Elegin, either observing his relatives when he was younger or making the deals himself when he was older. The man came to be experienced in such matters over the years and became a skillful diplomat, eventually even becoming the senator of the Senex-Juvex sector in the Alliance's Galactic Senate. He made some connections while on Coruscant, which would prove to be important to him later in life. After the Imperium began attacking the Alliance, he fled from the galactic capital back to the Senex-Juvex sector to protect his family's holdings. Rellis understood that the Alliance was in no shape to survive the Sith onslaught, and hoped that at least his sector would be bypassed or given autonomy within the new Empire. He turned out to be correct, as the Empire never took control of the far southern expanse of the galaxy, where the Senex and the Juvex sectors were located, allowing them to remain independent.
Over the course of the next decade, Rellis Elegin would blame the incompetence of the New Jedi Order and the zealotry of the Sith Order for the collapse of the Alliance. He believed that even if the Sith had not attacked, the Alliance would have fallen anyway due to the negative Jedi influence over the government. But as the Galactic Rebellion began striking out against the Empire, and the Jedi once more became active in the fight, Rellis realized that even if the "good guys" succeeded in overthrowing the "bad guys," they would still be stuck with an elite of Force-sensitives at the top―one way or the other. And as long as that continued, wars like the one they are witnessing right now would continue to occur. Rellis then decided that if the galaxy's civilizations are to survive, they would need to abolish both Force-using orders, the Sith and the Jedi, as well as any minor Force-sensitive groups that get in the way. He later recalled that the day of this realization was the day he truly became the leader of the Star Cabal.
After reading about the Star Cabal in an old data file he purchased, Rellis went in search of everything he could find about the organization. He eventually stumbled upon a remote world that was the site of an old Cabal safehouse, where he discovered the Black Codex―a sturdy device that contained information on the Cabal and its actions. Using this as a template, Rellis Elegin began resurrecting the Star Cabal, seeking out old contacts and calling on favors as he prepared to begin his "war of liberation" against the Sith and the Jedi.
PERSONALITY AND TRAITS
Having been raised as a nobleman, Rellis Elegin maintains an outward appearance of confidence and authority, remaining level-headed even when in dangerous situations after many years of having that drilled into him. He also has a sense of superiority, being a nobleman, thinking he is above most other people. Rellis is not necessarily heartless but he is willing to kill people (or, more often, have other people kill people) if it means getting what he wants. He was well versed in galactic politics, as well as local politics within the Senex-Juvex Kingdom, having years of experience. Other noblemen in the sector looked upon him as a sort of strongman, deciding that he is more of a use to them rather than a problem. Rellis is a patriot of the Senex-Juvex sector and blames the Force-sensitives for "dragging down" the sector. That was where his original hatred of the Jedi and Sith began. The Star Cabal became a personal project of his, that he viewed as the key to salvation of not only the sector but also the entire galaxy, as well as a path to personal power.
Possessing an intense dislike of all Force-sensitives (be they Sith, Jedi, Imperial Knight, rogue Dark Jedi, or others), Rellis staunchly believes that they are the root of all of the galaxy's major problems. He truly believes that a galaxy purged from all Force-sensitives would make it a better place to live for everyone else, and does have some compassion for those who he refers to as the "normal people." He thinks that while there are dark and light sides of the Force, both of them corrupt an individual, just in different ways. His view is that Jedi and Sith are fundamentally the same since they both strive for the same thing: control over others. The only difference is their methods in pursuit of the goal; Rellis thinks that the Sith are openly aggressive and honest about it while the Jedi use lies and manipulation to rationalize their power grab. Either way, their continues existence itself is a guarantee that the warfare will never end.
Rellis has the build of a large man and usually wears a trench coat of brown, black, red, and orange color. He possesses grey hair and a large grey mustache, and, being in his early seventies, usually has a weary and hardened expression on his face.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Being the a member of House Elegin, Rellis was taught diplomacy like all young nobles. He was an experienced diplomat, having dealt with other Houses and local governments, as well as the Galactic Alliance (prior to its fall to the Imperium). He was also able to negotiate with the Imperials for a good standing for the Senex-Juvex sector in the Sith-dominated galaxy.
MARKSMANSHIP
His parents had hired instructors to teach him several self-defense skills, including marksmanship, which he honed in his spare time. He liked blasters and became a fairly good shot, being able to defend himself.
PILOTING
A skill that Rellis learned later in life, he decided to take up piloting since he might be caught in a situation where he would need to fly a vessel and there would be no pilots around. So he purchased several craft and attended a civilian flight school, becoming a decent pilot.
