Theme

Korriban, legendary homeworld of the first Sith. There were few places as associated with the Sith as this one. He could feel its energy, even while he was in orbit he could feel that there was much energy in the planet itself. To the people who could actually feel it, it might have been intimidating, it might have been liberating. To Guhoo, or Relampago as he now called himself, he had to confess it was a bit liberating. There was some intensity in the air but nothing that terribly upset his mood. Actually it contributed to a better mood in the man, if he were honest, for he was excited. He was excited about this change, about what this decision would bring...

Though he still exercised caution. After all, a raw recruit couldn't just walk in and perform force repulses and other acts of "god" right out the gate, could he now? He needed to blend in, at least somewhat. Though as time went on he realized that it would be a bit difficult to fully blend in, after all he assumed that he'd be among the older ones in there. Vecna, the hulking kushari stood out pretty much anywhere, so next to him Guhoo seemed rather normal. But in here, and without Vecna, Guhoo would be the one to stand out. Or so he assumed.

But back to the white furred Kushari, Vecna was the one who got him here in the first place. But due to some unforeseen circumstances he had to leave for a week or so, something to tend to as a Crusader as far as Relampago understood it, and therefore the blonde haired human Sith was on his own, for now. Vecna said he'd be back, so the former Battle Master had roughly a week, if Vecna didn't crash his ship, to explore the world and settle in.

Without any personal gear, he really was just another one of the grunts. Stepping of the transport last the man wore plain clothing, a dark blouse and silver pants, a parting gift from the prison he recently inhabited. With no visible weapons of his own the man simply walked behind the group of, quite, younger people as they were greeted by a man with a mustache.

"Ahhh the last one to arrive is finally here. It would be a shame if freedom got to your head, slave. Don't think your liberation means anything in here..."

What a welcome! It seemed someone didn't get enough sleep last night... Relampago noted. Getting yelled at didn't exactly fit with what he had in mind, but it served as a reminder. Here, right now, he was a rookie. A scrub who had yet to prove himself, and it was an interesting position to be in. It felt, although insulting, quite liberating actually. He may not have had a lot of, any really, respect here but that just meant that he would earn it. The introductory speech lasted for a few minutes, some words about the Sith Order, prestige being spoken and possible apprenticeship with a Sith Master, or Lord. One whose name Guhoo, correction Relampago, wasn't familiar with.

Rather his trial to become a Sith had already begun. Looking around he saw the other hopefully run of without turning twice to even look at each other. So, there he was, on Korriban, with his first trial issued. Seek out a man in front of one of the Tombs, and assist him in whatever way he needs...

Not terribly exciting but grunts do grunt work, Relampago reasoned. Adjusting his hair the muscular man left the landing pad and made his way inside, once again seeking adventure and excitement as he explored the massive academy that revealed itself to him.

Jade, the so called man the blonde former Jedi Master was supposed to seek out, was seated on the remains of what had once been a impressive obelisk. At least she assumed it would have been impressive. Sith, past and present, seemed to have a predilection for the grandiose, so if it had been meant to guard the entrance of some self-important Sith then it would have been more than grandiose.

Life had changed a great deal for her over the past year or so, conscripted into the Order, then being promoted, and now expected to teach and train acolytes. She wasn't really looking forward to the last bit, but there were some perks to being a Crusader. She could be a lot more direct in her hunt for the Sith Lord who started this all for her, like this little exploration that she had organised today. Only a few months ago she would have needed a valid reason for wanting to fish around in one of the tombs, but now all she had to do was fill in some paper work about holding a class in one of the tombs or even just exploring it to prepare for a class and no one would bat an eyelid. She could grow to like this part of her new job description. With great power came great responsible and she was going to make sure she exploited every bit of that power to further her ends, that was her true responsibility, to herself and to her sisters.

Of course, she couldn't really hold a class in a cave if there were no students, so she had requested an acolyte to accompany her, someone to do the grunt work some Crusaders did not seem to be willing to perform on their own. Stereotypes, when you knew how to exploit them, could be a very good thing indeed.

When she sensed a presence approaching, possibly the acolyte, the "grunt" she had requested, she couldn't help but let out a slight chuckle at how literal some of the guys handling the paperwork had taken her words. But as the blonde man approached the smile slipped off her face, replaced by caution as a shiver ran up her spine. Whoever this man was, she had a feeling he was very, very dangerous. She had requested an acolyte, and as she delved into the Force she got the impression that the man's strength in the Dark Side was that of an acolyte, but her senses were also telling her not to take him lightly.

"Bringle sent you?" She had long since learned to hide her emotions, so the words were calm and revealed nothing of the intrigue and slight alarm she felt about the man.

Relampago would certainly agree with the statement, Sith indeed had a flare for the grandiose, and the man appreciated it. It was an impressive academy that revealed itself to him, teeming with people and activity. With every step he took the man noticed hallways, stairs and more people, while out the windows, and even before he landed, he could see the surface of Korriban. A vast desert like world with plenty of things to see and explore.

He wouldn't have much time for it though as he was issued his first trial. Assist the Sith Dukal, in whatever way is needed at the entrance to the tomb of Ajunta Pall. Relampago's assumption was that this Dukal was male given how their instructor described the task. Whether it was on purpose or not, the new addition to the Sith ranks had to admit that he wasn't thrilled about having to listen to someone like him. He didn't even have the decency to introduce himself! So Relampago Stark simply noted him as Mustache-man in his brain, not terribly imaginative but it would have to do, as he reached the exit of the academy and was faced with a new frontier.

Before him the valley of the Dark Lords revealed itself, a vast space that radiated with energy and life, despite it serving as the final resting ground for some of the most famous Sith Lords in history. Ajunta Pall, Marka Ragnos, Naga Sadow were some of the names associated with the Valley, though from what he knew there were rumors that the planet had many secrets and that even the legendary Revan had spent time here. Soaking in the image before him Guhoo, I mean Relampago, continued down the path before him and before long found himself walking on the sand of Korriban. Noticing both Imperial soldiers and Sith alike it was an interesting display, no doubt about it.

The man tried to keep a somewhat low profile, simply going in the direction he was told and trying to keep his aura in check. Though he did notice a few looks he received from some of the younger Acolytes as he passed them by, though he wasn't quite sure what that was about. His lack of a training saber might have been it, though the man remained oblivious to it as he slowly reached his destination. A grand entrance to one of the tombs, before which a female Sith stood. With piercing eyes and a pretty face she was not what Guhoo had expected, his eyebrow slightly raised as she addressed him.

Bringle, eh? Had to be the guy. Hiding his lack of knowledge about the Sith academy and its occupants Guhoo remained silent for a moment. The woman wore Sith clothing and her presence in the force showed that she was no beginner either, a lightsaber on her hip confirming her senior status in the Order. Looking at her the imposing Corellian native answered, his voice deep and matching the look. "Indeed." Figuring that she may or may not actually be interested in hearing, and knowing his name the man also wondered if she would get offended if he didn't introduce himself... "I'm Relampago Stark, it's an honor." A bit of flattery never hurt nobody.

Offering a curt nod to a senior Sith the man remained where he was, awaiting to hear what awaited him here today... Though he was a bit surprised that the Sith before him turned out to be a woman, because he could have sworn that the way the instructor spoke about it made it seem like a man was supposed to meet him. Or maybe he got it wrong? In any case this was D'ukal, Sith Crusader, first name unknown... What she wanted with him he didn't know, but if he stood there long enough he would surely find out.

The winds calmed down some and the Korriban sun also introduced itself to the former Jedi... heating up the ground on which they stood and reinforcing the fact that this place was not for the weak of character, or weak of body.
