The small hooded figuare sat on a small bench within a large dojo like chamber within the Temple. While waiting for his new appointed master he looked around sensing the unrelenting essense of the force around and throughout the temple grounds.

Amaterasu Selena entered the room, her footsteps set themselves upon the polished floors soundlessly. Her brown hair is tied up in a bun, kept secure with two small, polished sticks. The knight's face was serene, as though she has nothing on her mind that is of concern.

"Welcome, young one," she nodded her head, spreading her arms in acceptance. "I am Amaterasu Selena, and I will be teaching you the ways of the Jedi."

"Please, tell me about yourself, Aldracu Kanurn," she said.

He stood and bowed towards her
"there is not much to tell. I was raised on Abregado Rae and slowly through the years made it to this great planet, to become a jedi. I also must admit that i wish not to divulge further into my past."
While speaking not once did his eyes look directly towards Selena, as if watching the air around her.

Amaterasu's emotional analysis of Aldracu began in that moment. She has been told of the behavior of this padawan, and that it would be difficult to train him, especially as he is her first padawan learner. Nevertheless, she will learn much from him as she would expect towards Aldracu.

"I understand. Not many are willing to share their past with those whom they have not the time to understand," said Amaterasu. "Please, sit down."

She gestured towards the polished floors, before continuing. "Relate to me your interpretation of the Jedi Code."

((Note: The Code is slightly different from the classic one in this era. It is similar in the fact of the ideas remain: Ie. "Knowledge, yet ignorance."))

He looked towards the floor and after some thought, slowly sat, cross legged, with his hood now covering his face
"I understand there are many different versions each meaning, almost, the same thing. But the one i have heard from the storys back from my childhood, which is still settled calmly and unforgettebly in my memory is;
Emotion, yet peace.
Ignorance, yet knowledge.
Passion, yet serenity.
Death, yet the Force ."
He replied calmly, looking down towards the floor.

((That version of the Code has not been created yet. The version used at this time is the following:

Emotion, yet peace.
Ignorance, yet knowledge.
Passion, yet serenity.
Chaos, yet harmony. (this line not mentioned in all verisons)
Death, yet the Force.

There are no other well known versions known at this time, as the classic verison we know of would not have been spoken for another ~5000 years. The one you utilized was one formulated by Master Luke Skywalker. Please edit your post.))

((Missed deletion of Jedi seek to improve themselves through knowledge and training. I also meant for you to basically paraphrase the Code: how do you translate meaning of each line? I did not mean "what is the Jedi Code" sort of question.))

"Place those in your own words, please," answered Amaterasu, aware that Aldracu has not answered her request.

((im not sure exactly how you expect me to do that but ill try))

He looked up at her, with his light blue eye, with a questioning look. His other eye still covered by his hood.
"We feel all but only know of peace, we are ignorent but our knowledge is outstanding, we love others but keep it within ourselves, there is no true death, only the Force."
He slowly lowers his hood, his read eye piercing your gaze as he speaks again.
"I wish to ask something, but fear that it could seen as a "dark" thought. If, when we die, we become part fo the Force. Does that mean that if, with enough power, through the Force you could control death itself?"

Taken aback by such a question, Amaterasu paused for a moment. She struggled within herself to formulate the proper response, but soon decided on one. "What do you wish to accomplish in overcoming death?"

He felt her slight confusion towards the question, understanding that even he must choose his words carefully.
"I mean nothing by it, its just a theory. If you could control the Force in such a way, Theoreticly, you could become like a god. Given the choice all sentient speices would choose to become a god if they controlled what the consiquences could be. But i wish for my ramblings not to affect our training together, so i shall quiet myself now"
He decided to pull his hood back over his head, covering his face once again.

"Be careful of what you wish for," Amaterasu answered, "a Jedi is not meant to be a leader of peoples. They serve, not lead."

"Describe to me the Eight Tenets of our Order," continued the knight, feeling that this would be an appropriate way for her padawan to seek an answer to such an… unorthodox power.

((Explain the tenets in your own words. People interpret things differently. I want to know what you interpret them as.))

"The jedi fight for whats right and to keep order within the galaxy. Few emotions can affect a jedis thoughts in surprising ways and thus emotions should be somewhat surpressed. Feelings of attraction should be kept to myself unless i act on them extreamly carfully. A jedi acts for others and therefor must not discriminate any speices. A jedi must protect any that need it, no matter the cost. All material belongings must not affect a jedi's thoughts and actions. A jedi can..."
before finishing his voice lowerd and he looked up as though he was done. Hopeing the missing sentence was unnoticed.

Amaterasu waited patiently. She herself has gone through this sort of question herself, ending up memorizing the entire list of tenets and their descriptions, word for word, from the Archives. It would be difficult to evade this to the eyes of this particular knight.

"And?" she asked, gesturing Aldracu to finish. "I will not hold your interpretations against you."

The padawan avoided the answer that Amaterasu expected. However, there is little point in trying to press it out of the learner. She decided to adjust the direction of the conversation.

"How do you view the Force? Do you see it as an entity, an energy source, or what?"

He looked up slowly.
"It is the air we breath, yet the ground we stand upon. It is death and life. At times it lives and others it does not exist. I only see the Force, the way it wants to be seen."

"I see," the knight nods, "utilize the Force to move the desk in the far corner."

She waved a hand towards the polished wooden desk, on the other side of the room in relation to the doors. Taking a step back, Amaterasu waits for her padawan to act upon this request.
