Binjai-Tin
Upon completing her mastery of Sith Alchemy, the sith lord would be constructing a blessed armor for herself. Her current suit was sub-par given its mundane nature and would significantly benefit from one woven with the dark and carnal promise of vile Sith magics. Their first stop would be on the merchant city of Binjai-Tin in the planet of Nag Ubdur. This planet was rumored to have high quality Zersium deposits, the parent compound from which durasteel was constructed. As the Darth was determined to have the finest fabrics utilized for her personal belongings, she wished to harvest the purest mineral ores available. Such would require patients and likely some tact.

Arriving in the city, she was accompanied by a new acolyte whom she had not met prior. Though referenced highly from the previous Overseer, it would be a rudimentary and likely easy first test for the lesser Sith to get her feet wet. Assisting a Dark Councilor always had its benefits, a wise tenet that most of the aspiring Sith already knew. Her darkly shrouded form paced through the busy streets until they came upon what appeared as several blacksmith shops, disheveled Ubdurians forging away the mineral ore into what appeared as brilliant steel compounds.

Moving to the back of the compound, she approached several transporting merchants; the locals would give her a confused look and asked.
"What you want, Sith?"

The Darth merely chuckled in response and levitated an ore towards her open palm, grasping it tightly as her fingers ran across its surface.
"What do you have that's better than this?"

Sarla Malvern had accompanied the sith known as @Darth Victress, she was here to help with making her armour. She was here looking for purest of metals, for her personal armour. She had apparently mastered the art of Sith alchemy, and it would be good to watch. She might learn something, but in truth, it is beyond her capabilities at the moment. Though she learns what is possible, she can learn what she can do, as she gets stronger. She was also a member dark council, so helping her was its own reward. She wanted to be useful, as to get in her good books, would be useful to her and her house.

They landed on a planet called Nag Ubdur and went to the merchant city of Binjai-Tin. The planet primary export was a mineral called Zersium, this was essential to make durasteel. She looked around, as they walked around the market place. As she may as well keep her eye out for a bargain. She was dressed in black and had her traditional cape on her. The cape was black, with white fur trim.

As they looked around, she saw her lift a piece of ore up, with the force and ask "What do you have better than this?" This was what she was here for, she was just a hanger-on. Though she hoped to do more than just, be more than background noise to a dark council member. She was scouting out, which these businesses she could take over. She was expected to do so, well she was expected to run something, to help her house gain more financial muscle. As she walked around the store, she kept an eye on her. Though her bodyguards were waiting just outside, so the chances that anything will happen was minuscule, to say the least. So as she asked her questions about the ore, she asked about how much they earned through mining. She could borrow the money to buy mining operation if she needed to after all her family had deep pockets.

The merchants hesitated for a brief moment but even they couldn't fully resist the palpable aura that swarmed within the chamber, for force sensitives it would be suffocating though those that were not blessed would feel a certain wilt and fear in the presence of the Dark Lord. She stepped forwards towards him as her fingers continued to play around with the ore in her hand while awaiting a reply. Finally, the man standing next to the original miner spoke up. "Depends M'Lord, on what you are willing to play? High grade ores command more credits than the usual impure crap we send off to the machinist." This brought a singular chuckle to Arianna, as she plopped the ore besides other collected samples and folded her arms across her chest as they continued conversation.

She realized that alchemical sciences worked better on purer forms of metals as it yielded a significantly more precise and powerful artifact when prepared. "Excellent.." Her attention shifted towards Sarla for a moment, "How many credits would you suggest we offer?" The Darth knew how much to offer, but it was a test and an evaluation to see how well the young acolyte to could think on her feet. If she were to survive the brutality of the Empire, she must be adept at deception as her lightsaber.

She was looking around when the dark councilor, asked her a question. How much was the purest of ore worth, that was the thing, it took more than twice the effort to purify it a quality that she was asking for. So it was worth more than twice the amount in reality, though offering more than that on her initial bid, would be stupid. As it would say she pay anything for it, and that would be a waste of the Darth resources. She ponders on an amount, and she thought the first offer, should be just less than twice. As to offer too much, and they would take her as a fool. Though if she offered too little, they would laugh at her, and possibly die as a result. As she did not know the temperament of Darth, and she could kill the entire room. She then replied to @Darth Victress, I recommend we offer a hundred and seventy five percent, of the cost the normal carp they send. She looked at the council member as she replied, as to gauge her reaction. The price was lower than it was worth, but it was a good opening offer. As this was now, not question if she buy it, but a question of what price can be agreed with the merchants.

It was a clever question that required a more clever answer; surely this just a simple scenario but it was one that allowed the Darth to foresee the analytical prowess of the young Sith. If Sarla wanted to be more diplomacy than combat, she would need to practice and harness these abilities. And as Sarla spoke, Arianna smirked and looked back towards the vendors. "It seems that she has spoken. We will give you 150% of what you normally charge for your lesser fares, in exchange for your more valuable possessions."

"170%!" One of the vendors shouted, receiving scowls and threatening looks from even his own cohort. They all knew of the tremendous power the dark councilor wielded, and these men were simple folk who just wished to return to their lives at the end of the day. Being killed by a tempered Darth was certainly not in their list of things; luckily, Victress was more level and cool headed than some of her own allies and tilted her head into an arrogant angle as to merely ponder on the counter offer. "160%" She spoke, quietly and calmly; The offer was accepted with ritualistic nods from all the parties gathered as a merchant went into the back of the shop to reveal out the location of their nearest shipment.

The Darth motioned to the acolyte after the information was uploaded into the datapad, "Come, lets find you something more interesting to wear.." She said, as the duo moved into the crowded alleyway. There were numerous street fares and merchants lining small walkways, the powerful dark lord standing out somewhat in her ebony hooded form though Sarla appeared much more human standing next to her. "Tell me about your childhood", she asked. It was a simple question, but one that had intrigued the councilor for some time.

Well, she was surprised the vendors agreed to it, but nonetheless, she would not trust the quality of the metal they provide. As they had been treated unfairly, though that was the life advantages of being dark council member she guessed. After the deal was done, they moved out of the shop, She said, they should find something more interesting to wear. She replied Lets, do that. She did enjoy clothes shopping, so she was always up for that. She then asked Is there anything, in particular, you are after? After all, there may be many types of clothes the dark council member was after. As they left, possibly still wondering what type of clothes she was after, she asked her about her childhood. Not much to say, to be honest, I was a handmaiden for a lot of it. This was to house Demici, as part of our pledge of allegiance to them. Then was taught to use the force, as well as basic strategy. Though I am also very good at back brushing hair, and doing other people make up, and getting out nasty knots. Those skills were useless, to her nowadays, but she does maintain her own appearance. As they left the shop, her bodyguards kept a safe distance.

The dark lord wasn't too surprised they had accepted her offer, after all, it would look bad to negotiate with one of the most powerful Sith in the Galaxy. While Victress was somewhat more benevolent compared to her temperamental colleagues, the Darths as a whole were not known for their willingness to tolerate disputes. She smirked as the young acolyte discussed something to wear, the Darth was fully content with her darkened affinity armor, it was a rite of passage and upon reaching this ascension, most of the dark lords swore off their former appearances and relegated to those that were more in alignment with their stature.

"Not for me, for you.." She said, knowing full well that the woman wished to one day achieve nobility. It was not an easy mark, but one that was attainable if she worked hard. Sarla then slowly began revealing portion of her childhood by pieces. A handmaiden for House Demici? Interesting, Victress thought to herself; Arianna had grew up lower class in the cities of Kuat, all the while nobility of Serenno had been an alluring tenet, she had never really understood what their daily lives were like. She figured, it would have been considerably different than a majority of the population.

They soon arrived towards the shipment port, a porky Gran slowly wheeling what appeared to be pure Zersium ore in a wheelbarrow towards them. "Here ya go!" He said, joyfully as the Darth gave him the credits they had decided upon earlier. Moving over to the shipment, she grabbed an ore and examined it, using an analyzer in her datapad to confidently verify its purity. "Designing one's own armor piece is a rite of passage for most talented Sith. Have you designed a combat suit for yourself?"

She was not ready to be told they be shopping for her, she smiled but figured there was some reason for it. They continued to talk, till they reached, the spaceport. Then they were met by a man, inflicted by over consumption, and his figure was the proof in the pudding. Then @Darth Victress checked over the consignment, it appears they were not going to try and reduce the quality. She asked as she designed her won armour yet, she shook her head. Then replied No, not yet. I havê not had time to do so, nor the ability to know where to start yet. The truth was she was still wearing standard sith issue armour, called marauder armour. She would prefer something lighter and more elegant, with the same protection.

She then smiled, and replied,
Maybe when I get more renowned, I will make my own. At the moment she would be unwise, to be identifiable from the rest of her fellow Sith.

The dark lord glanced at the Zersium supply once more, before calling into the holocom to have the protocol droid move it into her ship's cargo compartment. She turned to glance at it as the droid as well as other hired help transported it back safely through the streets and into the ship docks. Attention shifting over towards Sarla, she moved closer to the acolyte before gently touching the Marauder robes the lesser Sith was wearing. "Functional, though not optimal. When you ascend in standing and if you prove yourself worthy, we may craft something more suitable."

She said as she moved from the vendor stalls and onto the crowded streets, "Walk with me.." She stated, calling out to the Sith as Sarla stood back for a few moments. "These Zersium ores are be utilized to construct a purer form of Durasteel, which is necessary to withstand the force capabilities of augmented armor. Regardless, perhaps you should use it to augment your current armament.."

She listened to @Darth Victress as she spoke, and touched her armour. She said it was functional, but not optimal. Sure she was right, but she did not want to show her status to the enemy, as that would make her a target. Though she then said when she becomes more renowned, she would help craft something more suitable. That would be reasonable, as by that point people might target her anyway. She then suggested she used some of the ore, to craft herself something more durable. She thought about it, and her personal vanity took over, she liked the idea. She replied to dark council member Maybe I should craft some, later on, Serenno we do have some fine craftsmen there. She was willing, to reconsider it. She then asked So where do you intend to craft this new armour of yous? This would be interesting, as she would know where better armours in the galaxy were, and perhaps bring them to Serenno to work for her house. As house become strong, by investing in themselves, not by helping others.

The dark councilor walked alongside the Crusader, the duo moving back towards the Nightsweeper yacht as she overlooked the loading of rich zersium and other unpurified alloys being loaded into the cargo hold. Shifting her attention slowly towards Sarla, Darth Victress spoke. "The rituals for force forging work best when they are near a locus of the dark side; a conduit if you would, and only certain realms in this galaxy possess such potent powers." She smirked, and moved slightly closer towards the woman, playfully stroking the underside of her chin as she then sharply turned and paced in the direction of the Yacht.

"The arts of dark sorcery are rewarding, and perhaps when your power grows, I will allow you to serve my purpose in a more directed role.." The tone was seductive and laced with a certain degree of foreshadowing. Would this be an inspiration for Sarla, to prove her worth to the Darth so that she may end up as one of her apprentices? Only her own ambition would hold her back now. Moments later, Darth Victress received an electronic notification from the personal droid on her ship, indicating that the materials had been safely loaded. "Come.." She spoke towards Sarla, "Time for us to return back to Korriban.."
