"Why are we here, sir? There's hardly anything left to search." The Sergeant, though an admirable soldier, lacked in way of hunting one's prey. He was human, after all. Gorr was not. Gorr was not here on behalf of the Empire nor on the behalf of the Vanhoop family or the Star Guardians. This was for Altair Din. All of Gorr's Sergeant, and himself, were garbed in white cloaks and robes to hide their identity. "We don't need the Force to find those who were responsible for this..." The Resistance was the first group that came to mind, but Gorr had seen their brash tactics. Could they have truly done this with this amount of expertise?
"More shrapnel, sir... Here." Sergeant Shiloh handed Gorr a piece of what was once an explosive. The problem with fire is that Gorr's nose couldn't pick anything else up from what the flames touched. Smoke filled his nostrils, and it's putrid smell made the White Wolf snarl. "These could've been used by anyone... We need something more defining." The wreckage was a disgusting mess, and two men could hardly dig through the rubble. After a few more hours of sifting through debris, Gorr called it off.
"We need to ask around... See if anyone saw unsavory types around here... Check surveillance... Everything..." Shiloh nodded and pulled his hood over his head. Gorr did the same. "LT, I'm sure you're not the only person who's looking for the same thing. If someone found something by now, the whole galaxy would know." And though the man did have a point, Gorr was too stubborn and loyal to his Commander to let something like this slide. "And what if everyone else is thinking the very same thing? If no one takes action, nothing can get done. I plan on seeing the heads of those who did this on a spike..."
