Reborn (Open)

Already were they under fire, no doubt from the Sith, as Jedi wouldent even think of doing what the ship above did. Once he saw it had crashed a distance away, he pulled out both of his pistols, arming them.

"Call me Mulluns."

He stated quickly, turning towards where his ship was docked and began to pick up pace, running towards his ship as the Onderon Authorities headed towards the crash site.

 

[Ols]

He followed the man called Mulluns, but he could not use the Force to aid his speed as Gerard and the Sith could. Within a few seconds, the first eager acolyte was upon them. Gerard turned, throwing off his black cloak, standing in his grey robes and deflecting the first strike before kicking the young Sith miles backwards, into his cronies. Gerard twisted around and carried on running with the others.

Dar Renko had survived the freighter crash, but so had the wave he had felt in the Force. He was one of the more senior Sith on this mission, his own acolyte was with them. He finall used his great arms to pull himself from the wreckage, before checking that Jonas was safe too.

"Jonas, follow me and pursue the scum!"

He ran after them in the big group of Sith.

[Niner]

Terith Hagando followed Renko as he ran away from the wreck. Terith felt pain in his leg, he looked down and saw a large gash across his shin. He took this pain and used it to fuel his rage, connecting him even more strongly to the Dark side of the force. He was now running twice as fast as everyone else. Were to? He did not know.

 

[Phil]

Mulluns continued on, aiming his pistols as the Sith who attempted to ambush them and fired a volley of shots at them. The Hangar bay was just around the corner, and if the Sith were'nt there, then they would have a clear shot. If they were...

He leaned against a wall, just around the corner was the hangar containing The Deathbringer, but he wasent sure or not if there was Sith, so he took a brief glips around the corner, just to be sure.

Damarus and HOD emerged from the crash, minor wounds on either of them. Damarus might have been a acolyte in training, but he was still capable of fighting, as was his obediant slave. He regrouped with Renko as he unholstered his lightsaber and joined the chase. HOD may have not been capable of using a lightsaber, but he... or it was capable of ignoring strong ammounts of pain and would fight until it died.

 

[Ols]

Gerard skidded to a halt and jumped over the wave of shots zooming towards the Sith, landing crouched and deflecting a shot from some kind of strange pursuing Sith droid. He took a split second to look over the Sith. There were a lot of them, being led by a heavy set man with a look of pure menace in his eyes. He did not think there were any Lords, and only a few Knights. They looked, or felt, rather, acolytes in strength. But there were about ten of them and that was more than he thought he could fight at once,

"Your ship," he said urgently, "NOW!"

Renko smirked as he saw the small party come to a halt at the spaceport. There was a customs officer on the door and that would slow them down precious seconds, expecially if he decided to call backup. He was surprised that the Onderon security force were takin this long to arrive. He did not care. He reached out to two of the acolytes and aided them in the biggest leap of his life. They landed neatly, lightsabers ablaze, right between the three and the docks.

"Give us the cyborg alive, and your deaths will be painless." he ordered the older 'Jedi'.

"Come and get him," replied Gerard, sending a huge Force push at the Sith, sending the three of them clattering into the side wall, giving him and his companions one last ditch sprint for the docks. If the Sith got up quickly, they were in one hell of a fight. And he had all but forgotten about the other ten or so chasing behind.

 

[Phil]

"Get down!"

He yelled to Gerard, pulling something from his coat. It was a plasma grenade, and it was thrown seconds after it was primed at the group of Sith.

"You cant escape, not without my help!"

The Dark Spirit in his mind spoke, trying to sway Mulluns to give into his Dark Power to hopefully escape or kill the Sith in his way. For a brief moment, Gerard could feel a dark urge emit from the Cyborg, but soon dissapeared as the Plasma Grenade went off, killing a Sith as others were thrown back or were a safe distance from the blast. That was when Mulluns began to run towards the Hangar towards his ship, looking back once.

"Grenade!"

Damarus shouted as he dove out of the way when he saw it come flying in, too soon for anyone to push it away as the blast threw several back, killing one Sith who didnt even bother to react fast enough.

 

[Ols]

Gerard dived back from the Sith and the exploding plasma, but toward the other three Sith, now getting up from the push. He suddenly caught a hint of dark energy from Mulluns, but had no time to react to it. Mulluns began to run for the hanger. Gerard tried to pull him back in the Force. Even if he got to the ship, the three Sith would get him there.

Renko saw the cyborg run and knew it was now his chance to be the champion of the Sith. He gestured to the two acolytes next to him and the three of them leapt to the cyborg, Renko's saber extended long enough to reach to his leg, willing the dark enery of the Force and using his anger to propel himself into the mercenary, blade first.

Gerard saw the three Sith make one last dive for the cyborg and he knew that this was it. He unleashed his emotion in a wave of Force lightning, electrifying all of the beings in front of him, and as the Sith soared closer to Mulluns the electrcity leapt into his metal limbs. He saw him collapse, and as soon as he realised he had hit him broke off the lightning. One of the acolytes was dead. The other unconcious. He could not see if the stronger one was moving or not, but he was definately alive. He ran over to tend Mulluns, but he could not see if the blood red lightsaber had cut into the cyborg or missed.

 

[Phil]

"Behind you!"

The calmer voice in the back of his head yelled, as Mulluns could hear the sounds of a Lightsaber humming as he leaped to his left, rolling away as he saw three of the Sith there, moving in on him. Before he could brace himself, lightning emited from somewhere and shocked the Sith standing infront of him before it moved on into him. He felt the lightning going all throughout his limbs and his cybernetic chest as smoke slightly fumed out on the sides of his "Face". It was too much, even for him to handle, and he went to his knees, his hands pressing foward to completly stop him from falling face down.

He then felt it, there was a burning pain in his right leg. Just below his knee, there was a burn mark that burned through his clothing and into his organic leg. This wasent going well, and he couldent allow himself to be caught by the Sith, or the Jedi. He had to keep movie, and he tried to force himself to stand, but his armor was damaged a bit, and his leg was burnt.

 

[Ols]

As Gerard got over to him, Renko was standing. He ran up to him and kicked him squarely in the chest, knocking him backwards. He shouted for Kharr to follow and bent down to pick up Mulluns. He was very heavy, even for a cyborg and he could only support so much of him. He held his lightsaber in his right hand as he staggered into the docking bay, the ship in sight and the Sith closing fast.

Renko flipped in the air as Gerard kicked him and recoiled off of the wall, his remaining acolytes charging foreward and he was soon at there fore. He entered the docking bay to see them, far enough from the ship that they could be caught before Gerard dragged Mulluns there, but if he unleased that lightning again, he may kill many of his acolytes. He waited for them to make the first move.

 

[Phil]

"You cant escape this without my help. Give into it!"

"No... not again..."

"Give into it, unleash your rage on your enemies, Fight for your freedom, you stuborn machine!"

That was all the persuading, as he was standing with Gerard's help, he suddenly pushed him away to the side, his eye lenses now glowing red as he stood, despite the pain. The Sith, and Gerard could now sense more of the Dark Side energies within the cyborg, what little of him wasent machine anyways. Mulluns pushed both of his arms back, his hands aimed in the Sith's direction as he gathered the powers he sought he long ago abandoned, and hurled it foward as a shockwave, sending the Sith back into the nearby wall. Despite what Mulluns tried to do to himself in the past, it failed. The Force was still alive in him...

 

[Dalloph]

Jonas had narrowly evaded death since the crash. Following the orders Dar had given him he had leapt into the fray only to nearly miss death again when bolts of lightning came his way. Two Acolytes had collapsed absorbing the brunt of the attack while Jonas leapt to safety taking only minor burns as damage.
"Burn them, Rip them ,Tear them ,Destroy them!" Jonas yelled rallying the remaining acolytes together he began a somewhat suicidal charge at the cyborg. Acolytes with their sabers raised on high yelled while Jonas collected his anger and sent it forth as lightning from his free outstretched arm hoping the attack would give the Acolytes and himself enough time to reach the cyborg in one piece.

 

[Niner]

Terith jumped high in the air and ignited his dual bladed lightsaber. He landed lightly on his feet and rushed the cyborg, spinning his lightsaber in a complicated weave of patterns, so fast that it looked like a solid red shield was in front of him. Reaching the cyborg he brought one end of his saber swinging down towards it's neck, the other would hopefully follow up with a bow to the collar bone.

 

[Ols]

Gerard saw the two acolytes charge at the now very evil feeling Mulluns. As he himself somersaulted forward he drew his blue shoto with his left hand and stood in front of the cyborg, deflecting one of the acolytes with each of his swords. He then began to attack, fast as light, first one and then the other, defending every second he was not unleashing this fury of attacks. For the first time in his life, he slowly began to feel what it was like to be more than just a Knight in the eyes of the Force.

Renko flew backwards, spun in the air and kicked off of the far wall, right back at Mulluns, is red sword ready to pierce the cyborg a second time. He raced towards him, stopped a few feet short and while Gerard was busy fighting the two acolytes, he pointed the tip of his sword at Mulluns' throat, his other hand raised to defend any surprises he had in the Force for him.

"Yield." he commanded.

Gerard felt danger behind him and had a split second to look and see Renko pointing his sword at Mulluns. He knew he would not kill Mulluns, but his own life was in danger from all of the Sith. He continued to defend against the acolytes. They needed help. Quickly.

 

[Imperator]

As if called by Gerard's thoughts a wave of lightning suddenly descended from the roof of a nearby building scorching the street and sending several sith flying back. Kira had finally arrived to help her fellow Twilight members. The element of surprise almost completely gone Kira leapt from the rooftop near Gerard and behind an acolyte. Before the Sith could turn to defend himself Kira ignited her blue saber and in a swift strike severed his head. As the Sith fell another came at her swinging his saber at her head. Kira quickly parried with her saber but was pushed back closer to Gerard.

"What is going on here exactly? I heard you through the force and came here to find you all fighting a bunch of Sith." As soon as Kira had finished her statement the sith came back at her making a couple quick strikes at her. At first she bloked the Sith's attacks but as soon as she saw an opening in his attack Kira ignited her purple saber and went on the offensive.

 

[Ols]

Gerard smile and a massive wave of gratitude fluttered through his chest. Thank the Force that his friends were loyal.Now he only wondered if any others would turn up. Then again, another Knight was more than enough for most of the acolytes. Although the better Sith would be a problem. As She jumped he swung his purple blade, hanging his shoto on his belt. Quick as a flash he pushed Renko's sword away and furiosly beat him back. He released a mass of energy at him, sending him flying back into his cronies.

"I felt a hurricane in the Force, followed it here and the Sith turned up too. It came from him," he pointed to Mulluns, "and I can only guess he's on our side for the time being as he's helping us kill the Sith. He says he has a ship to escape on. Unfortunately the Sith are between us and there. And no doubt more will arrive any second now," as he said that he felt a huge disturbance in the Force. He could feel the Sith in orbit, at least another fifteen of them, if not more, and some very powerful, not just acolytes, he shouted to his companions, "We need to escape. Now."

Renko again flew back and cursed the 'Jedi'. He rallied the Sith as he felt a large prescence of the dark side pull out of hyperspace. He was fueled by this. Knowing they had to go through him and the acolytes and the other Sith would be here before then, "Our fellows are coming to aid us. We will either kill these evil ones and become heroes of the Sith. Or we die slowing them down and go down in Sith history as heroes. Kill them."

The Sith dived forward, lightsabers extended, Renko heading straight for the new knight, the girl, his teeth bared in a smile, a terrible roar coming out from his throat.

 

[Imperator]

Kira saw the onrushing sith warrior. She was not swayed by fear or any real emotion she knew that she could not be struck down by one who was so easily engulfed by his own thoughts. She raised both hands, pointed at the onrushing Sith, and unleashed a massive blast of lightning at him. This was followed up by a volley of stones fired at him at speed enough to smash bone. Although she had unleahsed enough power to kill the sith she would not underestimate him and then with both lightsabers held before her she rushed at the sith warrior.

 

[Ols]

Gerard fought back the three acolytes at once with his one blade superbly. Three versus one was about right considering he was a master in all but name. Ducking and diving, he stunned one for a few seconds, kicked a second and fought on with the third.

Renko saw the lightening and thought, himself, that this would be a challenge. He brought both of his hands up as he landed and began to deflect the lightening back at the onrushing warrior. As a host of stones rushed at him too he cut a couple with his sword, dodged a couple more, but one crashed into his ribs, hard. He felt at least two crack and he let his pain fuel him with more anger as rushed behind the stream of lightening to fight the woman, yelling.

 

[Imperator]

Kira was taken off guard for a moment as her own lightning was deflected back at her. She used the force to push against the ground and just barely dodged the lightning as it flew past her. The push had lost her the momentum she had hoped to use against the Sith warrior so instead she turned to the Sith warrior and dropped into her Niman stance ready to use the strange combination of a straight handled saber and a curved handle to her advantage.

 

[Dalloph]

Jonas watched as the New arrival attacked his Master this wasn't good two against one are not good odds even for one as powerful as Dar. Jonas ran forward at the man [GERARD] who was currently dispatching the acolytes reaching them one had already collapsed another was getting up off the ground. Jonas Struck out with his Saber at the man with all of his speed aiding the acolyte now beside him hoping that his efforts would give his master enough time to dispatch the woman.

 

[Ols]

Gerard saw the fourth acolyte lunge. He hopped sideways bringing his blade in a wide, flashing, pruple arc, beheading the rising acolyte and coming around to deflect the new arrival's attack. As he moved forward, attacking more and more, he kicked out backwards at the acolyte behind him, sending him flying backwards. He then made a decision; to use his great power in the Force to his advantage. He was getting tired of fighting. He pushed the acolyte back and then stood in a medative pose.

Dar readied himself to fight the girl and dived forwards, recognising her attacking stance and using his great strength to try to beat her back. All of a sudden the scene went dark and he jumped backwards to dodge any attack. "Sith, regroup on me," he said, realising that it was so dark all that was visible was a load of red lightsabers. Red?

The Jedi were hiding. He let out a roar, thinking as fast as he could.

Gerard created a vast Force projection. He could not make he, Kira and Mulluns disappear into thin air, only hide in the projection with the appearance of disappearing. He created a wide open space, pitch black, the only light coming from lightsabers. He extinguished his own and prodded Kira and Kharr in the Force to do the same. When he lifted the darkness, the Sith would see a room in a space ship, with no exits, but cluttered with chairs, desks, tables, consoles, crates and droids. He made himself and his companions in the form of some of the clutter and shrouded his Force presence, a trick he had taught to Kira the week before and to Kharr when he stayed on Ilum; they had not mastered the technique but had grasped it enough to use it. Mulluns' Force prescence was now so cluttered by dark side it would feel like the Sith and he would be unnoticed. He waited, and sent a message to the others to wait, in the Force, to see what the Sith did. The lights in the room came on, bright and they were all trapped in the projection, Gerard using all of his energy on keeping this many people in it and his prescence invisible.
