But, yeah, I think that would be an excellent IC rivalry to let happen, even if the ship match ups one-on-one is more than a little one sided.

This possible IC rivalry reminds of the movie "Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World."

The ship I'm currently eyeballing is actually a Nebulon-V Escort Frigate, found here. No match for an ISD in a fire fight, but far more versatile.

Now, what are you guy's thoughts on a Captain? We have a lot of experienced fighters, but a shortage of actual officerish characters in the Rebellion.

Well Cole has some experience as a captain if a MC20g but that's like 10x smaller so he'd be a bit under qualified; but he'd probably be able to handle weapons officer, pilot, or communications officer. He was a co-pilot of a large freighter when he first joined the rebellion. And worked in the Med Bay for a while on the Rebel Dawn. I think it would be a good idea for everyone to post something similar ^^^ so the captain knows everyone's experience and skills and where they can be used most effectively.

I have an ex senator from the GA who has military experience. he could be a battle tactics planner or someone who aids in the goings on on the bridge

Well I'm not sure if you've had contact with Loco or not; but if we're interested in a Nebulon-V I thought it would be a good idea to take one of the heavily damaged ones and fix it up. We get some good RPs and the Rebellion gets a fixed ship.
