She was eventually running out of breath, but luckily, this was when they had already reached the ladder. She slid to a halt but even slid past the ladder thanks to the incline, however was back at it a second later with the Force helping her to reach it.
She had turned her lightsaber off by then and was hoping they wouldn't use it, but while chaos broke loose it seemed unlikely that their pursuers would keep their full attention on them anyway.
Even after they had successfully made that short climb they found themselves alone in the next corridor and while Nova regained her sense of orientation, she was still hoping that no one else would find them and that the shuttle would be there in time.
She followed him through the hall and soon they actually reached the hanger which let a wave of relief wash over her. "We're clear, we're clear" she briefly reported after one last glance over her shoulder before she flung herself into the shuttle, roughly landing on the ground while breathing heavily.
How much time would they have to bring some distance between them and the station before it would all start to blow up? Potentially just seconds, and so she immediately yelled into the direction of the pilot. "We're good, let's go!".
"Oh what the hell...so much for saving the hospital. Those Killiks are everywhere...how come they have already infiltrated a space station?". Of course that was a desperate rhetorical question, but that pest seemed to spread quickly indeed.
