Model: High Cycle Sub-Repeater - Revision 5 "Rycla"

Type: Subrepeater

Size: Similar to an MP5N.

Composition: Reinforced Duraplast frame, Dallorian alloy chamber, Plated durachrome trigger, Hadrium Barrel with Dallorian Alloy lining.

Range:

Effective range: 200 meters
Maximum range: 320 meters

Muzzle Velocity: 2775 fps

Ammunition Capacity: 30 shots per magazine.

Description:

Raskta Precision's company motto: "Speed is fine. Accuracy is final.", lends itself well in the design of the Rycla subrepeater. Named after a cure for a deadly disease, the Rycla subrepeater was intended for counter terrorism use. Like other Raskta precision weaponry, the Rycla boasts a true free float barrel design utilizing micro-repulsors at the base of the barrel. Each Rycla comes with a barrel composed of Dallorian alloy, coupled with a Hadrium outer layer to retain rigidity and therefore accuracy when firing. The Rylca's stopping power is similar to that of a 9mm slugthrower repeater, requiring multiple shots to take down targets unless a headshot is made. To make up for this lack of stopping power, as soon as Raskta Precision engineers perfected the inherent accuracy of the Rycla to their accepted standards, they tweaked the design to be as fast firing as they could make it. The Rycla fires blaster bolts at approximately 900 shots per minute. To mitigate recoil, integrated into the receiver is a recoil redirection system that forces the kinetic energy of the recoil downward, preventing the muzzle of the weapon from rising as much. As standard with all Raskta precision weaponry, the trigger and miscellaneous parts are made of plated durachrome to ensure consistency of pull and minimal friction.

Under recommended settings (ie: gas usage and power pack usage), the Rycla fires bright green blaster bolts.

Each subrepeater comes with an integrated flashlight, IR/Visible switching laser, and rapid acquisition smart reflex sight with an integrated mini ballistic computer that actively adjusts the point of aim based on weather conditions, distance, angle of engagement, wind direction, atmospheric composition, elevation, etc. Like all other weapons from Raskta Precision, it is fully capable of HUD/computer system integration, allowing weapon data to be shown to the user in real time.

Raskta Precision markets the HCSR-R5 at a price of 3200 galactic standard credits.

The rate of fire is high, really really high. You'd be out of ammo in two seconds. Also the advanced reflex sight, does it basically make it impossible to miss, or does it just help with long-range engagement?
