Let nothing of my words be forgotten, for the wrath of Siokra is beyond our control. Those who seek out the beast can only find one of two things. Either they live to be legends, or they become kindle for the fire.

PERSONALITY:

Rashkavel is known for his relative stoic nature, much to the same way as the rest of his species. However, this does not mean he has a lack of emotion, but rather that he does not express it outwardly unless he deems it necessary to. He is honor fulfilling and noble minded, and does not tolerate insults or disrespectful behavior. He can be deemed vengeful against those who he believes has wronged him. Despite this, he is not a ruthless being. He pays respects to his superiors, does not cause harm unless it is needed, and seeks to respect life as sacred and pure. In most cases, he is more concerned with his studies and personal goals than needless ambitions.

BIOGRAPHY:

Rashkavel was born to a poor agricultural family on the planet Atakithu. Farming Chithat spice on the ground below the towering forests that covered the planet was dangerous and grueling work, and his family managed to scrape by through its practice. Hard was their lifestyle, and of little reward. When his parents discovered that he was a force sensitive child, they knew that they now had a way to provide a better way of life for all of them. It was a common practice for poor families to offer a force sensitive to the Cthaoik-Tam order, an elite organization of Mystics, to become a shaman. The family would receive a large monetary reward in return, and once the child became of a certain age, they would be able to send money home from the life of nobility they would experience. Thus, at the age of six, Rashkavel was given to the order for training as a shaman monk.

He trained for years under the harsh and scholarly tutelage of his masters, learning the ways of magic and combat. He was taught to commune with the spirit world and call upon the guidance of the Shugän. At first, his masters noticed that he struggled to establish a stable connection with the Szyag-Kuan realms, and it was decided that this was because he was scared to trust himself to what he did not know. He was afraid to look beyond the bounds of reality. His studies waned, and his training faltered. In desperation at his failures, the young mystic sat in meditation for an entire day, calling into the void for help. In time, though he sat in utter despair and hopelessness, he began to receive visions. He saw images of fire and infinite destruction pouring around him, heaving and roaring like a sea of primeval chaos. But though the flames leapt across his scales, he was not burned, and he was not afraid. The inferno was comforting him in his restlessness. A voice spoke to him, told the boy it's name, and assured him that his fears could be conquered if he refused to bow to them.

Upon the boys retelling if these events to his masters, they were stunned, and deeply disturbed. Simply being able to openly speak with a Shugän would be a feat enough for a boy barely 10 years of age, but this was not just any Shugän. This spirit was called Siokra, the eternal fire. It was a being of legendary power, a primordial beast that slept within the hearts of stars, devouring the energies of burning suns. Siokra was chaotic, wrathful, and impossible to control. It was not the kind of creature that any mere child should be communing with, or any master for that matter should he be concerned for his safety, but Rashkavel persisted. These visions filled him with a determination to overcome his fears, that he might understand what he had seen. On the holy day of choosing, he made the controversial decision of selecting Siokra as his patron spirit.

Afterwards, his training leapt forward at unforeseen speed. He became thrilled with every chance at which he could prove himself to the elders. The voice that he had heard seemed to reach for him in his daily life, offering advice. However, others began to grow wary of Rashkavel, for they feared the growing youth and his spirit. Rashkavel was aggressive, competitive and headstrong, following in the ways of his Shugän. He would often quarrel with some of his peers. He would avenge every insult and punish any injustice he saw, whether it be on him or someone else. His elders knew not what he was capable of, or what Siokra was telling Rashkavel. Soon he seemed to become just as uncontrollable as Siokra himself. With his elders becoming increasingly exasperated with his antics, they turned to an unlikely solution.

After the treaty with the Sith Brotherhood was put into writing, the Cthaoik-Tam order was in regular contact with the Sith. One day, a collection of Sith warriors was stationed on Atakithu, some acting as diplomats to discuss foreign affairs, some sent to study Basaakith magics and their connection to the force. One of the lords apprentices had snuck into a monastery and tried to steal a sacred artifact, simply to prove that he could. Being a holy soldier and just so happening to be in the position of seeing him with invading the sacred house, Rashkavel was obligated to intervene in defense of both his own and his homes honor, especially when the apprentice attacked a group of young initiates who had gotten in his way. After a long arduous fight, Rashkavel killed the apprentice, beheading him where he stood.

The apprentices master was outraged at the death of his student, but because of the treaty could not seek revenge against him because it would violate Atakithu law. A priest of the Shugän is granted special permission to intervene in a situation of danger or crime, and by law Rashkavel could not be prosecuted for killing him. While the apprentices master was angry with him, another was intrigued by the youths ferocity. After a discussion with his elders, a Sith named Theto Syldrain made an agreement to recruit Rashkavel as her apprentice, much to the relief of the other shamans. Rashkavel was accepted into the Sith order a bit begrudgingly. Many Sith questioned the unorthodox methods of his usage of the force. Using magic in conjunction with Sith teachings was claimed to be a corruption of the Sith ways. But Theto was unrelenting. She defended him, and challenged any master to send their apprentice to fight Rashkavel and prove he was not worthy of the mantel of the Sith. Through the training by his master, and the guidance of Siokra, Rashkavel became acknowledged as a legitimate member of the Sith order. At the age of 28 he returned to Atakithu and finished his training with the elders, making him a fully recognized shaman
within the order. He had matured since he had left, his unchecked aggression honed into calculation and patient vengeance by the ways of the Sith. Now fights alongside them in the battle to preserve their legacy.

POWERS:

Trained in the ways of the Cthaoik-Tam order, Rashkavel is empowered by all manners of arcane powers and sorceries. He has knowledge of various spells that can aide him in battle. Rashkavel can empower himself by draining living energy from others by enacting complex rituals. This method is his primary method of fueling his spells. Much of his magic works around the creation of self sustaining systems of force power through his magics. These usually manifest in complex patterns that are made from Ekäshn liquids, which is a material naturally imbued with the force. The markings on his body are actually examples of this, as they are unlaced with Ekäshn to turn him into a living closed system of energy flow. In times of need, he can call upon his patron spirit Sion to aid him in battle, manifesting itself in the form of force fire. While he is a shaman, he is also a Sith, and can access many traditional Sith abilities.

SKILLS:

Hand-to-Hand: His life as a shaman monk provided him with teachings in martial arts combat, making him capable of fighting bare handed.

Spiritual Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of all things supernatural and spiritual, making him extremely formidable against any supernatural opponents and a useful asset in dealing with things that go bump in the night.

Lightsaber Combat: He is trained in the traditional art of Anjugga Blade Fighting, a dual wielding sword fighting form adapted to light sabers, which is complimented by training in Shii-Cho.

Medicinal Expertise: Has a working knowledge of herbal and surgical healing practices on many humanoid species.

GEAR:

Staff: One of the traditional weapons of a Cthaoik-Tam shaman, his staff is made of enchanted wood that has been dipped in sacred underground pools of purified Ekäshn, allowing it to project an energy field that protects it from harm, even against Lightsaber attacks. On the spearhead is a bare Zabrak skull that stores mystical energies, and a red Lightsaber blade will ignite itself from its center. The skull is protected by an ambient field as well. The bottom of the staff has an Ekäshn dispenser that allows him to "draw" patterns of enchanted symbols to enact spells on the battlefield, such as creating force fields to defend or trap others.

Marakokal: An exotic weapon with 2.5 meters of enchanted chain connecting two spherical plasma generators. The chain has also been dipped in sacred purified Ekäshn, and is able to withstand Lightsaber attacks. It can actually be wrapped around the blade and be used to disarm an opponent. The spherical ends generate plasma fields around themselves that can deflect blaster bolts. Upon experiencing a notable impact, such as when connecting for a blow, the plasma will burst violently, releasing a kinetic pulse.

Light sabers: Twin red bladed sabers with a grip made from the rubbery inner bark of one of the million year old trees from his home planet. Both are inlaid with a Basaakith prayer.

Potions: carries a variety of force empowered concoctions that can be used for offensive purposes, ranging from flasks of contact poison to ceramic containers of explosive chemicals.

STRENGTHS:

His fighting style has often been called exotic and hard to predict. He can often confuse his opponents with tactics and weapons that they are not used to having to combat. The magic he wields can catch people off guard, and is also potent in ways other force powers are not. Well rounded and adaptable, he can function well in practically any situation. He is also great at dealing with foreign entities and negotiating between races.

WEAKNESSES:

Chanting and casting spells can leave him vulnerable to attack. In fact, many of his most devastating abilities require extensive preparation beforehand in order to work. He needs time to showcase his true potential, time he may not have. Certain spells consume a large amount of living energy, and if he uses to much to quickly he will have to refuel by draining something in a short amount of time for fear of his own energy being consumed. His attempts to use both Sith and Cthaoik-Tam methods have partially diluted the abilities of the latter. It will take much more training for him to achieve mastery in magic. As a Basaakith, he has some disabilities that come with being in any climate that is overtly warm, such as deserts.

ROLE-PLAYS:

PETS:
During one of his many travels throughout the Galaxy, Rashkavel found himself on the planet Cholganna, where he encountered a Nexu that had been injured in a fight with one of the many fearsome monsters that resided there. With a combination of the force and tender care, Rashkavel managed to not only bring it back into full health, but befriend it as well. He named it Cinghad, and keeps it with him on many trips. He had an armor forged for it from durasteel plating in order to protect it from blaster fire should it find itself in battle.

This is pretty solid so far, but I'm hesitant to approve a character who has immense physical strength and immense knowledge of magic and Sorcery. Please tone down some of strengths (I'd recommend the magic) before I can approve him. Thanks

These "Enchanted Weapons" seem incredibly wonky. Perhaps I am mistaken, there is nothing in canon remotely close to magical water that gives exposed materiels magical protection from damage.

I am sure it isn't your intention, but people tend to abuse "magic" and the like in these type of situations, especially when what the magic entales is created solely by the writer (You in this case)

In addition to what Marf said, your character really has no weakness whatsoever. He is a master fighter in both blade and force skills (plus whatever magic stuff you are adding..), medical skills, diplomatic skills plus others. The character has no where to grow and has no weakness to keep the character realistic and interesting. His only weakness is using his "powers" makes him tired and uses "life energy". While that would indeed be true, that is the same for any Force wielding character. That would be like saying " My weakness is I have to breathe".

Maybe you got all this magic stuff approved by an Admin beforehand, if so, just disregard what I said about it. Best of luck!

Yeah, the enchanted weapons thing is mainly an alternative to having them all made out of phrik or something, which the fact that phrik is so commonly used in such mundane places strikes me weird in a lot of ways. Like Ultron said in Avengers 2: "The most versatile substance on the planet, and they turned it into a frisbee." Or in this case, an overly pointy stick. Ekäshn is kind of the central basis of Basaakith magics to make it more unique than just a carbon copy of Dathomir stuff.

Gave him a weakness that stated that his attempts to use both ability sets has diluted some of his magics to be less potent.
