Snapfire Saber​

Affiliation: N/A Just ask Rhem for the blueprints. He'll build you one if he likes you.


Ownership: Rhem Solare


Intent: This was created for Rhem's own personal use out of materials that he had managed to barter from others. The device was created in order to complement his fighting style and to give him an edge against opponents that were more experienced, skilled or outclassed him in terms of physical prowess.

Type: Custom Double-bladed spinning lightsaber


Size: Slightly bulkier than an average double bladed lightsaber.


Composition: Lightweight Titanium alloy.


Range: Maximum of 2 meters extension.



Description: A rather plain and unassuming black cylinder with a minuscule hoop on each end. In the center this is an almost unnoticeable seam that allows it to split into two separate sabers. The Saber is impossible to disassemble with normal tools. Requiring the use of the force in order to safely take it apart. Along with this, all of the switches and dials that effect the saber's length and activation are internal. Requiring a force user to activate it. Making it useless to anyone else.


*Features:
Acts as a Double-Bladed lightsaber capable of splitting into two separate blades.
All switches are internal, requiring force use to activate and dismantle.
Rigged to explode and possibly take the arm off of anyone who attempts to dismantle it without doing so in a certain order.
The main feature of the Lightsaber is the speed of which it ignites and retracts. Being near instantaneous, which greatly aids Rhem's preferred fighting style. Along with this, it is capable of rapidly changing its length in order to catch opponents off-guard.

Intent: I felt that in order to better show Rhem's expertise and prodigal genius. He should have a ship built mostly buy his old hands. Or more specifically. He takes an old relic from a scrapyard and begins slowly fixing it up over the course of his adventures. Starting out as a sparse, if rather large, personal ship. And then growing into a large personal command center and safe haven.

Armament: 2X Forward facing Laser Cannons.
A single mounted laser cannon can protrude from the bottom of the ship. Controlled by a gunner. Used mainly for defensive purposes against ground forces and pursuing fighters.

Maneuverability: While not as quick or nimble as fighter. The Onyx Sun still handles itself relatively well for a ship of its size. Quick to accelerate and move about, but its large size cripples its capability for performing complex maneuvers.

Ownership: Rhem Solare


Intent: This is an Astromech droid created for entirely personal use. Built by Rhem in his youth. Similar to its Master. There is far more to it than meets the eye. But it is primarily meant to act as an aid for Rhem in repair work and running his ship.


Model/Name: TR-8R


Class: Utility/Astromech Droid.


Locomotion: For the most part. The droid gets around by rolling about on its four limbs. However it also has built in thrusters for clearing minor obstacles and crossing short distances. each of its wheels also have magnetic treads. Capable of moving without issue in low gravity environments.


Power Supply: (What kind of power source does your droid have? How long does it last before requiring recharging, replacement, or refueling? Generic power cells and fuel cells are examples of simple power supplies.) A robust fuel cell designed for long periods of use. It also has the interesting


Sensors: (What kind of sensors does your droid have? How does it perceive the world around it? Size: Tiny. It only comes up to a man's waist. While being only slightly wider.


Composition: Mostly lightly armoured. With small amounts of durasteel plating.


Weapons: Minimal levels of weaponry. It is only equipped with a single integrated blaster rifle. Along with a short ranged shock arm. Capable of small bursts of electricity to stun organics and disable minor machinery.


Tools: It is fitted with an array of tools needed to aid Rhem in his machinery. Including fusion cutters, hydrospanners and whatever other minor tools he might need. Along with the basic manipulator arms in his chest for using said tools.
Along with a small personal shield generator meant to defend against stray bolts.

*Features: Like many Astromech droids. It is capable of integrating with other pieces of technology through various ports. But an interesting note is its wireless connection with Rhem's ship and some other pieces of technology Rhem would have made.. Capable of controlling it to some extent over short distances. This mainly involves either calling it to the droid's location, or sending it to certain coordinates.
Is equipped with a back up memory drive that is updated every few minutes. This is there to ensure that no secrets are lost if the droid is forcibly memory wiped. This memory drive is routinely updated wirelessly to a custom datapad in Rhem's possession to be restored upon a later date.

A tall young man with red hair and bright green eyes. Looking rather unremarkable in terms of facial features. Rhem's build is rather thin, but with a great deal of lean muscle. Built as a swimmer or runner, not a weightlifter.​

STRENGTH: Rather low. While he could hold his own against your average citizen. Rhem's physical strength is not great compared to anyone who decides to focus on physical power.
DEXTERITY: Since he knows he will never defeat anyone in a contest of strength. Rhem had put a lot of time into training his speed and agility. This area could be considered his strongest point that most casual observers would notice. Since he is exceptionally quick on his feet and quite proficient at sleight of hand.
CONSTITUTION: While he is in no danger of malnutrition or catching any diseases, Rhem's constitution is nothing special. But he does possess a rather strong will and even though his body may be sup-par, he has the tenacity of a starving Kath Hound.
INTELLIGENCE: To put it simply. Rhem is a genius. Capable of rapidly assimilating information and putting it to work. Learning quickly from experience. It is by far his strongest attribute. Already he can be considered one of the finest minds in the galaxy when it comes to droid construction and machinery. And he still expands his knowledge through research into biology and more esoteric sciences such as Force lore.
WISDOM: Rhem is not the type of person to sit down and think about his actions. Preferring to simply act on his whims instead of what might be the wisest actions. He trusts his gut on most matters. And while he can share his opinion on matters, he is no wise sage. All he has is the wisdom of a young man growing up under some rather interesting circumstances.
CHARISMA: When it comes to charming others. Rhem is rather capable. Making friends is something he finds easy. However he is no master manipulator. He could possibly win over some common folk. But falls short of experienced political players. That said, he is rather empathetic, even without the use of the force. Able to understand others after a few meetings and conversations.

PERSONALITY:
One would think that attempting to master supernatural dark arts would make someone ambitious, callous and cruel. But the opposite is true for Rhem. He is actually a rather affable individual. Usually wandering around with a small smile on his face, whistling a small tune under his breath.

Another odd thing about Rhem is his desire to make friends and form bonds with others. While this is normal behavior for an average person. It is in no way a fitting way for a Sith to behave. Rhem knows this, but still regards most people he meets as potential friends and allies. Preferring to build bonds instead of burning bridges. He also holds a great dislike for those who use their power for petty cruelty and sadism. To Rhem, actions like that serve no purpose and bring out more losses than gains for individuals involved. This is all due to his upbringing as a pirate. Affable he may be, he is a pragmatist at heart. Things such as cruelty and sadism are a waste of time for him. From his experience, appearing to be affable and reasonable tends to get one more results in the long term than simply zapping people until you get your way.

Of course, he is still a Sith. And while he is much more affable than most dark practitioners. He can still be ruthless to those that get in his way or impede his goals. Unless Rhem does consider a person a friend or ally of his. They are practically nothing to him. He would sweep them aside without hesitation if they went out of their way to stop him. But if not, then he would probably just invite them out for drinks.

He also has a great deal of dislike of slavery. This is linked to the main reason as to why he is a Sith in spite of his affable nature. For Rhem's core desire is freedom. Freedom to do as he pleases and be himself. Such freedom would be impossible to achieve as a member of the Jedi Order. And while he dislikes the manner of which the Sith conduct themselves. To him, they are a much preferred alternative.

BIOGRAPHY:
Piracy is no place for a child in most circumstances. Their lives would be harsh, their births most likely mistakes. In the most grim of scenarios, they are tossed out the airlock moments after accidental birth. Thankfully for Rhem, his mother happened to be the captain of a rather...eccentric band of rogues. And while his father was never known. Rhem did grow up with a caring (as far as pirates go) mother and a few dear "Uncles" and "Aunts" who helped raise the boy and teach him a variety of skills.

Chances are his mother was aware that her son was Force Sensitive. The odd flashes of anger that caused windows to crack and his occasional eerily accurate gut feelings were enough to convince the pirate that Rhem was rather different from other children. But the idea of letting her little angel fall into the hands of the Jedi was unthinkable. So what a relief it was when she found herself being approached by some rather shady individuals that offered to teach the young boy how to develop his immature powers. While still allowing Rhem to retain his own personal freedom. Needless to say, the offer was accepted and the Sith order gained possibly the oddest initiate they have ever seen.

With manner completly unlike other Sith, the pirate boy would have been killed for his unconventional behaviour if it was not for his results and progress speaking for itself. Rhem rapidly rose through their ranks, becoming a fully fledged member of the order capable of taking on any Jedi Knight in just under three years of training.

And now, just on the cusp of manhood a rather unique Sith with an unusual perspective on the Force emerges into the galaxy far far away.

FORCE POWERS:


He is especially skilled with many force powers relating to the physical world. Telekinesis, energy manipulation, minor healing and anything that interacts with his own body. These are the aspects of the force he excels in due to his investment in the physical world. ALong with this, he is also in possession of the rare ability known as Shatterpoint. Which allows him to sense faultlines through the force and deal with them as he sees fit. Either destroying objects by exploiting their faults or strengthening the faults.

When it comes to the mental side of things. His skill tends to decline. Preferring to subtly mix in mind altering effects with his own words and the use of drugs in order to make the best effect.

He has an avid interest in Force Magic. Having somewhat studied the Nightsisters, Rhem is eager to develop his own brand of Sorcery. Already making some progress in terms of Force smithing and spell development. Having developed some kind of prediction in terms of tarot card reading as well as the occasional situational spell.


SKILLS:
Mechanical Expertise: Machines interest Rhem. They are one of the few subjects that truly motivate him into working hard. He occasionally makes all kinds of odd and useful devices out of spare parts when he has free time. Even modifying existing technology.
Self-sufficient.
Basic first aid.
While he is no incredible gunslinger, Rhem knows his way around his ranged weapons. He is a half decent shot with a blaster and extremely quick on the draw, even without the force bolstering his speed.
He's also not half bad in terms of pure hand to hand combat. Striking quickly like a serpent, Rhem makes up for his lack of pure punching power with a mix of grapples, throws and plain dirty fighting.
Has the basics of Dun Möch achieved and utilizes it in combat if he spots an opportunity. But with Rhem, it is more trash talking, insults and jokes than deep psychological attacks.​

LIGHTSABER/SWORD FORMS:
Rhem decided to take on two forms that best suited his pragmatic nature in combat and to best utilize his preference of speed and cunning over raw power. So he instead studied and specializes in the form of the defensive Soresu. Occasionally mixing in small amounts of Makashi when needed for offense against other lightsaber duelists.


STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
In terms of strengths. Rhem is very intelligent and resourceful. Capable of turning common scrap into usable technology and learning new skills that happen to interest him. As well as being a rather decent shot with firearms.
However when it comes to weaknesses, Rhem is rather scatterbrained. Often spouting nonsensical things and going off on odd tangents in his own mind. Seemingly slipping into day dreams from time to time. To many others, he would seem like a complete fool.
He is also rather lazy, often not caring for any subjects that don't catch his interest. Preferring to laze about than actually do any work when it comes to mundane tasks.

Intent: I made this mostly because of Rhem's preference for infiltration and pragmatism over brute force. Allowing him use of a hands free blaster. One that he can conceal easily enough and spring on his enemies in order to surprise them.

Model: C0V4T Wrist Mounted Blaster

Type: Blaster

Size: In terms of size class. It would be in the pistol class. Fitting in nicely over his forearm.

Composition: Standard light durasteel. Along with this. The very top of the blaster is made up of a small amount of Cortosis. And while it is useful for blocking lightsabers in a pinch. It would not last long against multiple swings from a strong opponent.

Range: Optimal range of 15 meters. Max range of 50 meters.

Ammunition Capacity: 20 shots on standard setting. Scatter setting consumes 5 shots per burst.

*Features: Can be fired through three methods. Squeezing the fist (or applying pressure on the trigger with the force while it is armed). Voice activated. Or via biting down on a wireless receiver in Rhem's fake wisdom tooth.
Has a scatter/shotgun function. But doing so causes the blaster to overheat, requiring a short cooldown period of a few seconds. As well as consuming extra charge.
Has both Ion and Stun settings.

Intent: To further increase Rhem's non-lethal infiltration capabilities. He developed a device hat not only allows him take down opponents in close quarters combat without much difficulty. But did as well as doing it in a relatively painless, silent and harmless manner. Since above all else. Rhem favors pragmatism and solving problems with minimal bloodshed.

Model: Diplomacy.

Type: Hand to Hand supplement/Melee Weapon

Size: In terms of size It is a glove.

Composition: Lightweight conductive fabric. Allowing energy to flow around it harmlessly without damaging the hand within it.

Range: Touch.

Ammunition Capacity: Each glove contains 5 uses before requiring a fresh power cell.

*Features: Its main feature is to give short harmless shocks to a subject's nervous system. Acting almost exactly the same as a stun blaster. But it lacks any physical signs of firing off. The victim simply seizes up and collapses.
While deactivated. They look the same as normal guns.
Are roughly as durable as regular combat gloves.
They do a wonderful job of retaining heat in cold environments and expelling it in hot ones.
