She was born on the icy world of Hoth under the shield family name of Hosvirdottir, stout members of Clan Baldr. As was it tradition, she learned early on the art of war, blacksmithing, exploring, and trading; the foundations in which Clan Baldr was famous for among the Deucalians.

For most of her early childhood through her pre-teens, she shadowed her Father, Ragnor Hosvirdottir, where she learned to hone her skills. Taking up the sword, axe, and shield she quickly became a fearsome warrior; rivaled only by her need to explore. Though still young in her Father's eyes, she was never allowed to join raiding parties in the Hoth system or undergo exploration missions. She was, however, allowed to frequent the market places to grasp a better understanding of trading and bartering, two skill sets her Father highly praised. It was here that she met her best friend, Jorkin Raullisior, and together under the guidance of his Grandfather learned blacksmithing.

As she grew into womanhood, she began to stretch her legs; joining raiding parties and volunteering for missions to explore the deeper regions of the galaxy. It was during one mission the exploration party met with disaster. Crash landing on a remote, desolate, unnamed planet the crew were forced to survive in a harsh and unforgiving setting. The planet's weather and temperament were not the only enemy they faced; but the small band of survivors where forced to defend themselves constantly against a pack of four-legged monsters; who viewed the offworlders as prey. By the end of the first week, only three survivors remained. With no supplies remaining, they turned to what little water they could gather from a nearby brook whilst eating the fleshy meat of the monsters that attacked them.

By the end of the second week, she was the lone survivor. Starving and weak, she was on the verge of death herself until one day a Deucalian ship landed on the planet searching for the lost crew. Rescued from the jaws of death, she returned home only to discover her Father had passed on through an ailing disease he kept hidden from her Mother, two brothers, her sister, and herself.

Two months after her Father's funeral ritual, she slowly detached herself from her family; seeking to forge her own path and destiny....and the story truly begins now.

She is headstrong, though at times flashes moments of patience. When her mind is set to a task, she will go to great lengths to see it through; no matter the risk. She trusts carefully, but despises Force users; mainly the ones calling themselves Sith. What little dealings she had with Force users left a sour taste on her mouth, prompting an inner belief system the galaxy would be better off without space wizards. She, at times, can be manipulative; using harsh verbal tactics or muscle to get her way.
