Questions and stuff

Hey!

I'm really excited to start working for the Cartel. I suppose any faction that I would work for, I would want to be the strongest in the site.

~ I was wondering when and if we would ever start out own Main Storyline plot to try and advance an take over more of the Galaxy, whether it be to assimilate the Rebel Alliance or just destroy them, or to advance further into Imperium rule.

~ Would anyone like to start a social thread in which we do a mission for the Cartel, become pals and whatnot.

~ Are there any main quests we can sign up for besides Bounty's, seeing as how my character is not really a bounty hunter?

Alright so first off let me say:

Ok now to answer your questions kind of in order:

1. "Main Threads" as you may see labeled in the "story" can only be started by Admins and Faction Leaders (FL). If you want to advance the plot of the entire faction it would be best to talk to the Cartel FL Starburns about your or one of the AFLs listed as "moderators of this forum" at the bottom of the Cartel forums

2. I'd be up to do a thread with you with my Cartel guy Tal Veren (see link in my signature) if you've got an idea feel free to PM me or something

3. This thread has not only missions and bounties, but if you look below at the "Hutt Events" there are other missions and things that will periodically pop up. Also (going back to point one), in this section if you look at the "Tipping the Scales" missions, they are an opportunity to kind of swing the Cartel one way or another a little bit.

Our main story plot at the moment is to play both sides to the best of our ability. We wouldn't want to destroy the Rebel's, because well our chances against the Imperium alone would be not so good, but at the moment we're not really interested in going to war with the Imperium, so we're more just taking advantage of the chaos, and consolidating our hold of the criminal underground, especially the spice trade, and making deals with various Independent Factions (well the ones we're not fighting!) so we have plenty of allies for the inevitable fight ahead.

~ Are there any main quests we can sign up for besides Bounty's, seeing as how my character is not really a bounty hunter?

There are a number of missions available either in the Mission Database, and a number of others are available through events we do like Tipping Scales, and Pipelines of Corruption. We're currently more doing events at the moment, pending the approval of some major updates to all the writeups and official threads we have.

If no one wants to, I'd certainly be willing! I'm a bit busy at the moment with a lot of threads though, so I can't promise a speedy reply!
