It only occurred to Vri, sitting in the dingy lounge of her personal ship, that she had somehow managed to surround herself with a trio of Mandalorian mercenaries completely by accident. After her first few meetings with Tal she'd done some research into the Mandalorian people and found out how dangerous and sought after they were was mercenaries. And she had three Mandos on speed dial, and all they asked in return for helping her bust some heads was a cut of the profits and a chance to cut loose on some difficult targets. Today would give them plenty of both, provided they didn't get caught, shot down, or trigger a mainline tibanna explosion.

But at the moment, her biggest concerns were about the credits she spent on shaped demolition charges, climbing lines, and giving some substantial bribes to a local Ugnaught engineers in exchange for access to city plans and some help getting in the back door. She was already somewhat in the hole funding this operation herself so failure was definitely not an option for her.

"Alright boys," She took a great deal of satisfaction in that line as she kicked the holoprojector in her table to life. "I had to pay some Ugnaughts a lot of creds for this information, so everyone pay attention."

The hologram flickered to life with a cutaway schematic of the entire city, from the gas mining complex to the upper levels. It wasn't an especially large or detailed map, but it had everything Vri was looking for and it came from a local (if not reliable) source.

"We are just one floor above the cargo loading hangar where carbonite blocks are loaded onto transports for shipping. If my greasy little friend is worth the credits I paid him, there will be an open maintenance corridor between the hangar and the carbonite freezing chamber. Once we're inside the facility, we'll need to make our way down to the control center in the reactor vane, where we can shut off the flow of tibana through the reactor shaft we need."

At this point she turned to her Mandalorian minions and shot them a brief, but deadly serious look as she pointed to the reactor shaft they were looking for.

"Do not, I repeat, do not, start dropping bombs or firing blind in the reactor vane. Even if an explosion wouldn't set off the entire kriffing complex, the noise would get security on us fast, so we'll be going in quiet at first, got it so far?"

[Taldorak Trenessar]

Tal sat with his helm off, lounging in his seat with his boots on the table. "Oh yeah, babe. Don't worry about nothing. Wherever those tight leather pants go, I won't be too far behind." Sure the money was nice, but he was there for the sight. Singular. Green with a flash of purple.

Tal would give their companions a sideways glance, he wasn't too fond of working with his own kind, for obvious reasons, at least to him. He had hoped that this op would be fun with them, or at least they'd be fun. He would return his attention his his datapad, looking at various world resorts as he planned a trip mentally in his head. "We gonna kill the loose ends afterwards?"

Rakiss listened as Vri explained the situation to the group, of the ones present for this operation was Vri of course, himself and his brother. All of which he knew, the last however he didn’t know at all nor did he care to know, how others of their kind interacted was 50-50 depending where you stood in the mandalorian tradition, at least to Rakiss that was the case. This was a job not only to gain much needed payment to keep funding the operation his clan was running. But as well he owed Vri from the last time they had run into each other, though he would’ve sober this time. Standing next to his brother both in full armor and kit he turns to his brother Laren slightly and speaks in a low tone on a private channel through their helmet coms. “Remember Laren no crazy ideas..... keep to the plan and let’s get it done ok? I know I don’t need to tell you how much our people need this.” Soon after he returns his attention to Vri and acknowledged her words “Ok Vri your the master mind here, just tell us what you need us to do and “we” will hold our end.” He said as he gestures to himself and his younger brother, as the conversation went on Rakiss checked his gear to make sure he was ready his words simple but he believed action was all the more louder and effective. Though he wouldn’t outwardly show it he was excited and was all to ready to start what would be quite the job in his mind. Then turning to Laren once again.

As everyone was gathered around listening to the brief Laren had paid very close attention to this brief for the sake of his brother. He knew the job could become very dangerous and knowing his brother can hold his own he couldn’t live with himself if anything happened to him. So he sat quiet until he heard his brother speak and he knew his brother was ready as he noticed the tone in his voice. “As long as I can bash a few skulls and kill anything with the force I’ll hold my end up. I might be a new guy round here but I can assure you I’m not a loose end.” He turns to look at the Mando without his helm and continues to say “I haven’t hesitated to care of any problems before, and don’t plan to start now..” Laren chuckles as he looks down at his belt looking at the saber of the first force user he ever took part in killing. He looks up at his brother and nods to assure him that he is ready to go.

Vri could tell the Mandalorians were itching for some action, Tal and Rakiss' brother especially, so once she got confirmation that they understood the plan so far she decided to move on to the rest of the plan, right after she addressed the loose ends in the room.

"If the little pigs come forward, they'll be implicated for this too, so don't worry about them." She brushed the idea off casually, as all the Ugnaughts had was her face, with no name or organization to tie it too.

"But once we get the reactor shaft shut down, we'll lower ourselves into the tunnel using the climbing equipment in these bags." She gestured casually to the four bags of equipment laid out behind her. "We'll have to lower ourselves down the shaft to reach the target point, the spot under the Main Vault of the Yarith Bespin."

She pulled up an image of the lavish casino she intended to rob, as not only was it one of the biggest vaults on the station but they had also just hosted their famous yearly Sabacc Tournament.

"This is the Yarith Bespin. A few days ago they held their famous annual Sabacc Tournament, so the vaults are pretty much loaded at this point. The reactor shaft I've chosen runs a few meters under the vault, so we can access the vault from the shaft by blasting up through the floor. Once inside, I'd say we'll have about five minutes to load up our bags and escape."

This was the part where things got crazy, or at least crazier than crawling down a gas pipe to blast your way into a casino vault from the floor.

"Climbing back up and out will take too long, so before we leave I'm going to signal Ball-O to pilot the Trog to the closest exit hatch in the reactor shaft. We'll side down the tunnel and, hopefully, land right on top of the ship."

Tal would glance over at Laren like this was his first op. "You're not the loose end.." he'd nod to Vri as she spoke of the Ugnaughts. "The little pig men are." Boy, where did she find these guys. He'd remove a cigarra and light it, taking a small drag from it to puff out the smoke before leaning back in his seat.

He listened intently to the plan, only speaking again once she spoke of the load time. "I can buy you ten." he'd lean forward once more. "And once you guys raise me on the comms of reaching the Trog, I can take the access tunnel east of shaft. Secondary exfil. If you can swing the Trog around there, I can jet across. Way I look at it, the five isn't nearly enough time to pack up and leave."

Rakiss listening to the rest of the plan nodded slightly, he likes what he was hearing the plan seemed like their best option. With the gear Vri had on hand now it would be a breeze as long as they didn’t screw around. That being said he looked to his brother Laren “This will work, shouldn’t be too much to handle.” Then looked to Vri and spoke “I carry plenty on my own, Laren may be my younger brother but bigger than most, he can carry a hell of a load on his own so this should be easy enough.” Then looking at his own gear again just wanting to start the mission already he wasn’t one for idle conversation when there was work to be done. Looking back to his brother and quoted their father and what he used to say in the mandalorian language translated to “Know the calm of war and it shall be yours” Then he speaks in basic “Remember that Laren and let’s get this done ok?”

[Laren Vano]

Laren hearing the same phrase his father had once said could only hear echoes for his fathers voice. After a moment of silence grime Laren he would look toward his elder brother and grab his shoulder and nod. He then dropped his hand from his brothers shoulder and looked toward Vri and Tal, gleefully saying “Let the fun begin.” He then turned around and says to his brother “You know stealth isn’t my strongest skill.. but for you I will give it my best. Cause although talented, I know if something went wrong you could be in danger. Father would’ve wanted us to protect each other.. so at all costs, that is what I’m going to do. Plus if I wasn’t stealthy I wouldn’t be able to get my hands on the stuff for BD-3 and you know how much he wants it!” Laren let’s out a small laugh for the joke was intended only for his brother to understand. “Are there specific positions for this job? Or will we all go in at once?”

"I appreciate the gesture, Tal, but it's not just internal security I'm worried about. The Sky Guard are twitchy, and the longer Ball-O sits idling under a reactor shaft, the more likely they are to start shooting. We go in together, and we get out together, this ship is not designed to win dogfights with a swarm of Cloud Cars."

While she saw the profit potential in having Tal go full-Mando on the hotel security to buy them more time, she was worried about sticking around too long and drawing too much heat. And maybe she cared about Tal's safety too, but that was secondary to not getting shot out of the sky.

"There's plenty of loot and plenty of time to grab it in, so unless anyone else wants to sit around instead of getting paid, let's roll!"

"Well, simple fix for that is calling the ship later." he'd say with a grin. "But.. I can hear the worry in your voice babe." he teased, whether or not it was true, he just liked to see her squirm or show some fire. He gave his gear a once over before deciding it was good and making sure it was all packed and ready to go.

Rising to his feet, he pulled his helm on and would make his way to the gear bags, pausing just long enough in front of Vri. Tapping the cheek of his helm, the enjoyment in his voice just speaking volumes. "Kiss for good luck, yeah?" If she gave him a kiss or not, he would then head over to grab two of the gear bags, carrying hers. "Ready when you are."

Rakiss walked over to bags of gear, grabbing one and tossing the other to Laren. Shaking his head slightly at the other mandalorian in the room in his head telling himself, if this was really had become of his people then there really was no hope for them all. Walking and looking inside the bag he talks to Laren “Make sure your gears good and let’s get this underway, the love birds can catch up if they are not too busy.” Going past the other two, a job was a job, and he was eager. Then looking to his wrist he started to tap on a screen on the arm bracer he had already taken the liberty of downloading the map Vri had shown them, Rakiss didn’t like to go blind he always wanted to have a plan for everything and to stick to it as much as possible. Now waiting for the others to come along so they could start he pauses for a moment a looks to the group he stares at then without a word for several moment, we’re they ready or not? Or was Rakiss just doing his own thing? Regardless he finally spoke up before anything else could get in the way of stealing them any further “You coming? Or did you want to catch up later?” he says and waits for someone to do something so they could go. His helmet showing as vacant of a expression as of the helmet was off to see his face and how it would have appeared. None the less just wanting to get into the thick of it, he want happy if he was just sitting around while their was work to be done.

Laren let’s out a chuckle before saying “That’s the brother I know! I’m right behind ya I can’t stand romance if it isn’t me doing it.” Laren looks back to see the flirtatious mando and stops to say “If you aren’t in cuffs by the end of this, maybe get her something nice? Gals love a gift, and be sure to have IPC skills..” Laren turns away “You’ll need em!” Waiting alongside his brother, Laren checks his gear. He was always on top of his game when it came preparation. He looked to his brother who stood still and quiet, and decided to pay his brothers shoulder. Looking down he said to him “He couldn’t make an escort high to get down.” And waited to hear his brothers reaction, standing proudly.

Why were these damned Mandos all suddenly interest in her lust-life all of a sudden? If nothing else, that all came after the caper, not before, so when the brothers Mando started making smart comments and Tal leaned in for a kiss, Vri promptly flicked her supposed paramour on the forehard, donned her helmet, and grabbed a bag.

"If you boys kriff around half as well as you fight we may actually pull this off." She flicked on the voice scrambler in her helmet, giving her a deep, electronic growl. "Let's move out."

Their current landing spot wasn't far from a stairwell that ran to the lower cargo platform where their entrance point was located, the only trick would be moving fast enough not to draw undue attention to themselves. Not an easy task considering how they were all kitted out to the teeth, so Vri was banking on this being a slow time of day for both the civilian and industrial hangars. Sure enough, the trip over-to and down the stairwell was pretty much devoid of people, but when they got to the cargo door entrance Vri would stop the group.

"Our entrance is the first maintenance door on the left. The hangar probably won't be abandoned and they'll be workers inside the gas mine. Once we're through this door, we keep moving but we do it quietly."

Tal would laugh as she flicked his helm. "Yeah, that'll show me." he teased. "You two kids try to keep up, yeah?" he'd say to the other two Mandalorians. Vri already knew how effective he was on an op and these two were just the gossip twins to him. Gossip twins that were oddly touchy of each other. As he walked past Laren, he shrugged. "Oh trust me, I already know the way to her... well, you can use your imagination for that one. Rule one, of operations with this firecracker, always bring a gift."

He stayed directly at her six, visor scanning their surroundings. "If you can't move quietly, walk with purpose. The three of us can pass as security for a VIP. If anyone talks to you, keep it casual, talk about the Huttball game. Bom Trady just won it all again, if they work here, they probably will talk about losing money on the game. If you need to take someone out, do it quietly, but preferably, no killing until we're in position. Oh, and one more thing. Have fun. After this, we're each going to be swimming in it." One hand resting on the tops of both bags, the other would grip the straps. Glancing back at Vri he'd nod. "After you, asa."

Rakiss carrying the bag he had picked up, spoke again to the third mando in the group “Careful who who you call kid.....” he says not really caring what was said, he had nothing to prove. Now just walking quietly not really caring for idle talk, they then get to the door that would put them into view of possible workers. Hearing what Vri said about possible people down there. He simply nodded and they entered the door Rakiss walking in last watching their rear. As they walked he did noticed people walking back and forth keeping busy or at least trying to appear that way. All seemed good as until he heard a voice call out to the group. “Hey you four hold on a moment!” The group stopped and Rakiss was met with a stranger of some alien race he didn’t recognize, the stranger stops near him and and begins to speak “I haven’t seen you here before, and you seem a bit out of place here among the other workers, who are you all?” He questioned, Rakiss was silent for a moment and replied to not raise alarm. “Higher ups hired some more security, outsourced a bit due to recent activity.” the man asked further “Is that so? Well I didn’t hear anything out this.” “Well that’s no good, here tell you what we are late anyway and the boss wouldn’t be happy to hear it. As well as he I don’t think he would be thrilled to hear one of his men didn’t know to expect to see us so here.” He said reaching and giving the man some credits as the man slightly smiled. “Consider this a show of good faith, you didn’t see us come in late and we didn’t run into you sound good?” the man chuckled as he pocketed the credits “well jeez stranger that’s awful kind, I can agree with that, what did you say your names were?” “Plenty of time to have a proper introduction but on the clock should get to our post, you understand?” Rakiss said as the group started to walk off the man let them go and the alien called out “Well alright but come fine me after shift, the names Jarles we can grab a drink and get to know who I’m working with to guard out hides.” Rakiss turns slightly and nods as they walk away. That was close but luckily people are easy to fool, the man seemed well enough Rakiss was glad not to rough him up, but he knew he wouldn’t be seeing him again. ”Let’s keep moving just keep straight before anyone else wants to mouth off” He whispers to the group as they walk on.

Laren choosing to ignore the subtle words by the Mando and focusing on the task at hand. He walks with the group and keeps an eye out for any and all possible threats. Mostly just a bunch of nothing and hoping to find the room they were looking for. After searching for a little they came across the cargo hangar they were looking for. “Oh thank the stars” Laren mumbled due to the boredom of no killing. He had been on the high hopes for a good fight. Once he knew they were where they wanted to be he readied his blaster saying “The calm of war is mine” and began walking to the entrance ready to blast what was on the other side. “Come to papa” he said.

Vri hadn't really prepared for an encounter with nosy landing pad employees, so she was quite thankful when Rakiss stepped in to intercept the first person who tried to stop them, and managed to drive him off without causing a scene. At least no more of a scene than the foreman caused by shouting over at them as they tried to sneak around the back of the hangar.

"Very smooth." She gave Rakiss a pat as she marched past him to the maintenance door. Just like the little porkchop had promised, one click of the door controls and it slid open without an access code request or an alarm bell. The corridor itself was also empty, but that would change pretty fast once they got into the facility proper. Ugnaughts were everywhere in the tunnels between reactors and the louder they got the more likely they were to disturb the little meatballs and have one trigger an alarm.

"The reactor controls are three doors down at the end of the catwalk. Try not to trigger an alarm or explosion before then." Now that they didn't have to blend in, Vri practically ran down the corridor as quietly as she could, cut-down carbine at the ready just in case she needed to club or shoot someone in a hurry.

Taldorak would be stopped a few times as they walked, having some idle chatter with the workers, some lowered discussions. He would rejoin the group just before they reached the maintenance door. "They have an event going on today, by invite only so it wasn't on the docket. Luckily, it's on the other side of the casino. Nothing too flashy, but worth a mention. Might add some time to their response." he'd say low enough for only Vri to hear.

As they ran down the corridor, Tal would have Rayna at the ready, the DC-17x ready to claim some blood. His visor would scan their surroundings looking for any security sensors which would bring him to a complete stop, arm outstretched to cross Vri's chest and bring her to a stop as well. There was a flash of red as security lasers flicked from the floor to the ceiling, then from one side to the other. "They got some tricks.." Moving her aside, he'd watch the sequence of lasers again. "Alright, do as I do."

Crouching low, he'd move under the laser as it hit about three feet from the floor. At four, he was under the laser, and favoring the right side of the corridor. He would pass with some time left to spare before the vertical laser hit where he was moments before. "Two tracks. Bottom to top, left to right. Start low and to the right and you should be fine. But hurry, they have it on two cycles so the moment it clears the top, it'll start from the bottom again."

Rakiss stepped forward looking at the pattern that Taldorak had just relayed. Following the instruction as well as sight both being of good use getting through successfully. Once through he turned to him and nodded “Thanks for the heads up.” He told him before moving on pausing a moment and unholsters his right side heavy westar blaster pistol. Then turned back again “Keep going I’ll keep to the back to make sure no one wants to stick their nose where it best stay out of, wouldn’t want anyone coming in behind us.” I’ll follow just keep moving ok. He said as he started after the others had made their way past the obstacle. Depending on what they did this could either go smooth or rough. Guess Rakiss had no choice but to go for the ride.
