What is going to happen in your plot?
Smugglers have been moving Jedi/Sith artifacts. Us 2 Jedi Padawans will take their relics and some of their gear, and prove ourselves by resisting the pull of the Dark Side.

What other players will be a part of this?
Myself Abrakhal Grisgoh, and Cinderella Isaac of Inok, and maybe another writer.

Where are all the places (if more than one) that your plot will be taking place?
Thread 1: Nar Shaddaa [ASK]
Thread 2: Tund [OPEN?]
Thread 3: Space [ASK]

Please provide a basic in-character timeline of what you expect to happen.
We follow our intel to the smugglers' broker on Nar Shaddaa, wait out their arrival, follow them off world, to Tund where they're looking into rumors of a Sith ruin, crash their party and take their stolen stuff and other loot. We escape into space, but realize one of the Sith artifacts whispers dark thoughts in our heads and we face the darkness within ourselves. We either destroy it or turn it in to Jedi command.

What do you or your character hope to achieve with this plot? What is the "end-game"?
To get some gear and grow in the Force. 12 assorted grenades (8 frags/4 smokes), a basic datapad, a Jedi holocron with limited instruction on telekinesis, dueling gloves, a lightsaber, and a medium piece of chest armor that I will post in the tech forum.


ABRAKHAL GRISGOH'S

ARMOR


A duraplast carapace with durasteel plating that fits to the torso. It allows the wearer near full range of shoulder motion, full head rotation, full waist rotation, and slight arch and contraction flexibility. It is designed to protect against light blaster fire with minimal discomfort and against medium blaster fire with some bleeding but not debilitating damage, so long as neither are not multiple hits to the same area. The carapace does not restrict Force usage. The weight does however restrict, but not prohibit, Force enhanced jumps and sprints.

Coverage: (Coverage regions for Light armor is 1-3 regions, Medium is 4-5, Heavy is 6-7)

Do you need any involvement of canon NPCs or faction leaders to be DMed by a staff member? If so, please detail who/what and for what purpose.
Maybe at the end, unless it's unnecessary, we could report our findings to someone in Jedi command? Both my guy Abe and Cinderella's Isaac are looking to prove their loyalty to the Jedi and get their names on the Jedi roster as reliable members of the Rebellion.

Also, adding this follow up post because I'm not sure if y'all would be okay with adding this on.

We'd like to earn 1 Balaen Class Heavy Freighter. If we need to add another thread to compensate for adding the ship onto the list of rewards, I'm 100% willing.

OR, we'd like permission to just steal a generic ship from an npc that could carry us through this mission series. We could do a separate plot to get a good ship like the Balaen Class Heavy Freighter? Not sure if that would be allowed?

Heya Styx!

Alright so I kind of see where you're going with this plot and I like what I've seen so far! You seem to be using this as a chance to explore your characters and I really love seeing that! :D

That being said, I'm gonna need just a little bit more from you and some clarification alright? Sweet so here goes!

  • If you want the Balaen heavy freighter, I would like to see at least one more thread, yes please - your choice if it's Open PvP, Player DM, Dice or Self-DM
  • Your assorted grenades are fine so long as there's no advanced tech in them :)
  • Same with the dueling gloves and gen-tech armour since they're easy to acquire
    • Good rule of thumb is that if tech isn't either Faction specific or advanced, you can acquire it without needing to plot
  • That said, the sticky tracker doesn't have an approved tech write up (if it does please link me) so I'm afraid it would require one before it could be included as a potential reward, since it's only canon appearance is several thousand years in the future
  • And I would need you to help clarify what you're going to be doing in each thread please? I see your story arc and I like it but right now it's not super clear what you're doing in each thread. Maybe something like this?
    • Thread 1: The two Jedi have to tail a smuggler contact through Nar Shaddaa without being spotted but also without falling too far behind. They discover he intends to get off world and need to secure passage on a ship to follow him.
    • Thread 2: Ambush the smuggler party at the entrance to the dig site and fight them off until you control the entry point to the ruins.
    • Thread 3: Enter the ruins and become tempted more and more by the artifact as you get closer. Work hard to fight it off long enough to grab it and escape the ruins as they start to come down around you.
    • Thread 4: Assault the smuggler's landing pad, which has some left behind guards, and secure his Balaen Class Heavy Freighter. Free some prisoners from the brig (really just one of the rooms, locked) to use as your crew to help you fly off.

Assorted grenades will only include basic frags, smoke, and EMPs.

I'll drop the sticky tracker for now, and swap it with a generic lightsaber if that's ok. It'll be my second lightsaber.

I'll drop the sticky tracker for now, and swap it with a generic lightsaber if that's ok. It'll be my second lightsaber.

All find except for EMP grenades - those are advanced tech so please remove them. Basic grenades are frag, smoke and concussion :)

We know you're going with my guideline for the threads (totally flattered btw) but what we need to know now is what level of opposition you're doing for each :D

Self DM - where you and you threadmates decide the danger
Dice - where you roll in line with the dice roll guides for difficulty
Player DM - where another player sets up the danger for you to face
Open PvP - where you self DM until opposition arrives in the form of other players where you then have it out with them, all in line with pvp rules

Let me know what difficulty you want for each thread when you get a chance :D

Hope it's okay not being uniformly done one way? Never done Dice before but I've checked up on a couple threads that were doing it. I'll have to look over the rules and mechanics of it again in more detail.
