Narir and his partner dropped through the atmosphere of Concord Dawn and toward the planet's surface. There were numerous other Mandalorians here today, some from other Clans, but many - most - from Clan Solus. Soon to be House Solus, the badgers were as ferocious as their namesakes identified them to be. They had risen up on Mandalore in power and prestige, and were now recognized as names throughout even the Inner Rim and Core. Of course, the Imperials had tried to quash that, but rumors had still traveled.

Now, the Badgers were going to make a mark that couldn't be ignored. They were going to purge the remaining Imperial sympathizers from their world. Too many dar'manda had lost what it meant to even be Mandalorian. They had traded out their souls and their vod for power and comfort. They made Narir sick, and they had no right to wear the armor anymore.

Narir looked over to the other Badger in his dropship. I'm not here to take prisoners, he told her bluntly. He detested the traitors they were going after, and he didn't want to take them back alive. This fight - and he had no doubt it would be a fight - was as much a purge as anything.

Rather than his double pistols, one of his pistols was replaced with his violator with its trio of spare ammo. His gear was all in place, and he was more than ready for a fight... whatever they faced - even if some Imperials got word and tried to come save their people - Narir was going to be ready for it. @Logan

The cogs of Clan Solus had been churning relentlessly for some time. There had been many lives given to their cause, though none of them Solus. Their victories had been swift and numerous. In the end today would be no different Renya was sure, but she also knew that it meant more - a lot more. But first they had to cleanse the dissenters, the nonbelievers. The Imperial sympathizers.

She had memorized the list of names. To Renya they were pure filth, traitors who should be met with the swiftest and most violent retribution. "It's irresponsible to leave orphans," she returned, her voice quiet but steady. "Kill whole families." The message to the Imperials and their allies needed to be clear. They were not welcome and Clan Solus did not fear them.

Reyna's mind moved from the list to her gear, part of her before combat ritual and mental checklist. She was carrying her normal gear, though she had recently acquired a lightsaber which was tucked tightly into a pocket on her belt; concealed and out of sight until its use would be needed. For now, she gripped her blaster rifle and the drop ship plummeted into the landing zone. It hovered for a moment a few feet off the ground. Reyna jumped down and began walking, her wits about her and her mind returning to the list.

No orphans. It was an interesting concept, but it had merit to it. Narir didn't care for the idea of killing children, but they would grow up and follow in their parents footsteps or become vengeful monsters who would come for them later. Maybe Narir should wait until then and let his "sins" catch up with him. He wasn't sure what the answer was, but he said nothing about it for now beyond a We'll see. The sins of the father were often paid on the children, but Narir found himself questioning that for himself.

Before anything more could be said, shuttle touched down and Narir's hand wrapped around the grip of his rifle, disembarking as the wind whipped up the dirt around them. Clouds of dust from the repulsorlift almost made it difficult to see, but his helmet protected him from having to squint through the dirt. We'll need to be quick, he said into his comlink. They would have multiple targets to move on, and the more coordinated they were, the worse for the badgers. The longer they had to prepare, the more dangerous this would become.

Narir set off down the dirt road along the town. The ground was dry, and the sand and dirt seemed to cling to his boots with every step. Still, it beat out being stuck in the mud as he moved to the first house. Ready? he asked as he double checked the address and moved to one side of the door. This was the place... the first house of their target.

With one final nod, he fired his blaster into the door and kicked it in. As he moved in the room, his carbine swept from one end to the other, looking for any signs of their target. A moment later, he had his answer, and a blaster bolt screamed down from the top of the stairs. They had found their "friend." @Logan

Galaar had lived in his Clan's plot of land in Southern Concord Dawn, and as far back as his early childhood that there were Mandalorians that had lost their way. Years later, with the rise of Clan Solus, he saw the opportunity to remedy this with their aid, as chatter about the movements to cleanse the area of these heretics had exchanged hands among the Rau and the Vizsla who supported this movement. Galaar had taken the time to find out where this cleansing would begin and moved up from his clan's plantation in the South to extend his hand to help rid his homeworld of heretical filth. When he finally touched down his Nexus-Class Freighter, Galaar rushed out to find the operatives from Clan Solus that h'ed grown familiar with.

"Oya!" he exclaimed, as he watched three Mandalorians breach a door of a home to one of the supposed heretics. "I'm here to help!" he explained, in Mando'a, just before a blaster bolt screamed down from the stairs within the house. They know why they were here, and the coward could not even come out to face them. Galaar lined up on the wall, ready to file in along with them, Shriek Hawk in hand - ready to gun down any Dar'manda that stood in their way.

Reyna followed Narir into the house, her pistol finger itching. A new vod had joined their raid, and though she didn't really think his presence was necessary, she wasn't going to deny one of her brothers the opportunity to put a blaster bolt in the forehead of a Dar'manda.

Hearing the blaster shot come from the top floor and figuring Narir and their new friend could handle it, Reyna continued to sweep the bottom level. Entering the kitchen, she heard the sounds of someone shushing, as if she wouldn't be able to hear it.

Approaching what looked to be a pantry or something, Reyna tore open the door and leveled her blaster. Inside was woman and two kids, all of whom looked incredibly terrified. Something inside of Reyna relented, and she quickly told the children to leave. They were barely out the door when Renya put two bolts into the mother.

"Bottom floor clear!" She shouted to her comrades. Hopefully they'd taken care of the man upstairs by now.

Narir recognized the sigil of Clan Rau approaching, and was glad to have the help along the way. When the gunfire began, he was glad to have the extra gun to help them out since there was no telling what they would end up facing when they fought these traitors.

Narir squeezed the trigger and sent a bolt of his own back toward the top of the stairs, feeling the gun buck into his shoulder and - unfortunately - missing his shot by a hair. It slammed into an old wooden desk and nearly split the desk in two, sending splinters flying in every direction. A second shot was designed to keep the man in cover, and hit the corner the man had just ducked behind.

Move up! he told his Rau counter part, hoping that Rau trained its warriors as well as Solus did. But they were fellow vod and close allies, so Narir had faith in the man. Meanwhile, Narir was careful to keep his new partner covered and ensure the man didn't peak back out again.

Good, make sure no one comes from outside, he said to Reyna when she radioed "all clear." It was likely that several of the neighbors were also Imperial supporters and may come with aid if they heard the gunfire. @Logan @Gian Greydragon

It hadn't occurred to Reyna that other Imperial supporters would be foolish enough to attempt to storm their position in aid of their traitorous brethren. It did make sense though, the rats scurrying to save the other rats from the sinking ship. Running back to the front of the house, Reyna peered through the curtained windows into the street outside. She could see *six figures rushing from several homes and towards their location, blaster rifles in hand.

"More incoming front!" She shouted to Narir and Galaar.

Swapping back to her blaster rifle, Reyna knocked out some of the glass of the window. Taking aim at the lead two Dar'Manda, Reyna fired off several precise shots. *She hit both of them directly in the chest, killing them instantly. It was then that she saw one of the others take out a bottle with a rag in it. With a lighter he ignited the rag and that's when Reyna figured out what the hell he was doing. The man hurled the firebottle through another downstairs window, the bottle smashing as it hit floor - instantly igniting whatever it landed on.

"Big problem!" Was all Reyna managed to get out, the flames starting to spread and blaster fire peppering the front of the house.

Galaar had yet to move in, but this worked a bit to his advantage, as he was bale to spot them, before they spotted him. The disadvantage was the six individuals converging on his location. (x) Luckily for Galaar, he was able to get around the house, before any of them could notice him, setting up behind a duracrete fence on the side of the house, by the time Reyna had fired at and killed two of her own, and managing a headshot on the first of the Dar'Manda to come into his sights, the shot carrying through his stupidly unarmored head, into a second's shoulder plate, wrecking it. (x) He was not lucky at all with his second two targets, the first burst of two flying off wildly into the backdrop beyond, and taking fire, getting hit square in the shoulder, though the Duracrete cover was likely to have saved his life from heavy fire. Three of the Mandalorian traitors remained, one of which was damaged. Galaar remained in cover, and waited for his third comrade to join the defensive.

Narir bounded up the stairs, coming around the corner and spitting gunfire at the remaining man who was there. The shots traveled up his body from the stomach to the chest and a final shot to the head as he fell back onto the ground, already about to die within moments. As the call that more were coming from outside came through, Narir moved to the front window, firing a blaster shot to shatter its glass and send shards falling down below.

What kind of problem were they talking about? What problem? he asked into his comlink as he lined up a shot on one of the other "neighbors" looking to cause trouble. A blaster shot carved through the air and plastered itself against the ground, but the man had already taken cover behind a speeder, leaving him still standing in the street below. That was three left in the street, then.

He had half a mind to go down and see what was happening below that was "big problem" but for now he stuck with shooting at the enemies who had now positioned themselves to return fire at the Mandalorians of Solus and Rau. @Logan @Gian Greydragon

Daniel had been a block over, supervising another operation when he decided that the sounds of fighting from Narir's location had been going on for far too long. His team was nearly complete and a quick comm to Druuc to show him going to assist the other team was all it took. He took off in a flash, moving along the streets and, based on last known location, turned to come up behind the group Narir had engaged.

He spotted two targets immediately, one behind a parked speeder and another behind a disgusting looking array of trash bins. A hail of bolts lanced from the pair that Daniel could see, flying upwards towards a window and presumably that was where Narir and his team were currently located. Daniel crouched down on the ground, partially obscured behind another speeder and took careful aim with his rifle. With their backs to him, they would never see the shots coming.

He fired four shots, two center mass of each enemy. They crumpled, dead before they even hit the ground. Grinning to himself, wondering what in the world Narir and Reyna would make of the unexpected assist, he opened a comm channel to his friends.

"Two in the street, one behind a speeder and one behind the bins down," there was humor in Daniel's voice. "What was taking you guys so long?!"

And just like that it was over. Narir knew the other Badgers were in the area, but he hadn't realized that another had already made their way over. It was nice to see, though, because their gunfight had been drawing out, and Narir's bad luck seemed to have set in.

He peeked out of his window cover and saw the flashes of bolts in the street, cutting down their enemies that remained within a matter of moments. And then there was Dan's voice in his comlink. Ah, yes, more Badger allies. That was a good sign, and the street was suddenly more calm.

Half the neighborhood came to fight us, he grumbled with a hint of humor underlying his comment. Bad-Luck Badger managed to grab the portion of town that was so pro-Imperial, but at least they had allies nearby. Nice finish, he said as he made his way down the stairs and out into the front of the house. That was mission accomplished, and Narir popped his helmet off to light up a cigar. He took a deep puff as he looked at the bodies in the street. It was a mess, and they'd likely have to clean it up, but they'd survived. One more day that fate seemed to have overlooked him, and he wondered how long it would continue.
