DESCRIPTION​

The goal of the EZPods is to negate the need for protocol and translation droids. EZPods provide real-time translation for over six million languages across the galaxy. The design processes speech and provides instant translations into the user's ears. The pods are integrated with an app called EZ Protocol. The EZ Protocol app offers a database of information for most planets and their customs. This database is open sourced and can be updated by users across the galaxy. This is designed with Spalexa in mind where now pointing to anything on a planet and asking Spalexa about it will spit out information on what it is and what it means to that particular planet and culture.

If the other speaker does not have EZPods, the Protocol app also provides voice translating where the user can speak into their comms device and the app will project a phonetically accurate dialect for ease of communication. If both users have EZPods, seamless, real-time conversations can be had in multiple languages!

The app and the EZPods are designed to assist with communicating with sentients across the galaxy and also to be very aware of local customs, norms, fauna and other insights to heighten the travel experience. This will be instrumental for diplomats, Jedi, or anyone else that has to work in an environment in which they are not familiar.

The EZPods also serve as high quality earbuds for plain, old music and communication with hi def audio.
