After successfully securing the goods and taking out the members of the smuggler gang that were present in the cavern. The goods were transferred to a train to be taken back to the town. Yes transports could have been used but that would have meant more time needed to get all the transports needed and it would have been costly in money and in time. Using a train, however much the criminal hates trains, is the better option.

Now on their way back to the town, it will be a while before they arrive. But it in no way means that the rebels are going to be having an easy ride. They still have a job to do that entails protecting both the train and the goods inside the cars. As there was no clues back at the cavern that they had taken out all the smugglers in the gang. There could be more out there that were not present during the battle to secure the goods. So the rebels will have to be on their toes in case these stragglers decide to come at them to get back what was in the cavern.

Pinching the bridge of his nose, Tycho groaned, swearing that this will be the absolute train ride he will ever take. Swallowing down the motion sickness the criminal turned rebel finished getting his rifle ready and making sure that his other weapons are ready to go. He is sure that the three of them will be able to keep the smugglers off the train or if they do get on board taken care of quickly before they can do any damage. If they have to the rebels can arm the train crew to help fight off any smugglers that get on board. One concern though is that the movement of the train as it moves forward and bounces around on the track will make it difficult to prevent smugglers from getting on board, just as it will make it difficult for the attackers to approach and get on.

Slamming a cartridge into place, the criminal looked to the other two as the train jolted on the track, causing the man to lose his footing and smack into the wall behind him "I don't know about you two. But this is the last time I am riding a kriffing train." The man said quietly as he pushed himself away from the wall the sudden jolt caused him to smack into.

Crix was knelt down in the back left corner of the train car. He'd come out of the mission relatively unscathed and thanked the force for it's favor, but kriff he was tired. The adrenalin rush of battle was nothing to overlook and before things heated up again he took some time to center himself. His wrist buzzed as the alarm he'd set went off and he felt himself internally groan. He considered hitting the snooze button but knew this wasn't the time to slack off.

The Gunslinger checked and replaced any depleted battery packs he needed too and stood, turning to Tycho, who was not excited to be on a train. Crix had to stifle a grin when the train rocked unexpectantly sending his companion into the wall. "Don't worry pal, you'll get your sea legs soon."

They were in the conductor's car, Crix had been able to hotwire the machine in order to get it moving and now they awaited the incoming storm of bad guys. The Jedi knew the gaggle of smugglers they'd put down weren't going to be the last of them, it was just a matter of time before they showed up. He leaned against the nearby viewport and gazed out. The craggy terrain of Ryloth rolled by and he couldn't help but hope the myriad of scattered caverns didn't house an army of enemy smugglers out for revenge.

Tycho could not hold back a chuckle in response to what Crix had to say to him. The Jedi had a way with words. That is for sure.

The criminal looked out the viewport to get a look at their surroundings. Though it didn't do much to curb the nausea but what else can he do? Not much come to think of it. But as he looked out the criminal spotted something that caused red flags to pop up in his head.

Then it all clicked, "We've got company!" Tycho warned Crix as the dust cloud became bikers approaching the train fast. In no time two approached jumping from their bikes and onto a ladder that was fastened to one of the cars.

Grabbing his rifle Tycho took off out of the conductor's car to intercept the smugglers that boarded as quickly as possible. Two cars down is where the criminal will find them. As he took aim at one of the two boarders he was spotted just as Tycho got a shot off. But both ducked out of the way. One of them firing a single bolt that scraped along the hand that Tycho was using to hold the weapon steady. Hissing in pain he ducked behind a pile of stacked crates as the two smugglers started shooting in his direction.

Crix snapped his attention toward his companion as Tycho warned of incoming. The Smuggler followed his friend out of the safety of the train compartment and hoped the auto-pilot would manage while they handled the incoming enemies. They were two cars away from the two interlopers and Tycho had already opened fire.

It was immediately clear to The Jedi that these guys were nothing like the ones they'd faced only hours before. Their aim was legal and their tactics were solid. Crix swore under his breath as they dodged his pals shot and returned the shot with emphasis. He and the commander dipped behind some nearby crates.

Crix could tell Tycho had taken a hit and asked, "You good?"

Deciding it was his turn to make an attempt, Crix pulled his Renegade Heavy Blaster and slipped out to his left. He took two shots. The first one caught the enemy smuggler in the chest and the being collased, dead on the spot. The second shot went wide and the enemy reacted faster than Crix expected and returned fire before he could completely retreat behind cover. White hot pain erupted across the outside of his right shoulder and he swore as he finished his escape. Once he was back around the crates he scanned the injury and breathed a sigh of relief when it was just a graze.

"Man, these guys aren't playing around are they? Looks like we're going to have to get a serious, buddy." Crix flashed a confident smile still sure they were going to be able to hold the train.

Attack roll bearly successful. Crix misses his second shot and takes a graze to his shoulder. Results here

Tycho looked to Crix as the other rebel questioned him about if he is good. The criminal nodded, "Yeah I will be fine. Just a scrape." He will tell his comrade just to see him suffer the same fate as Tycho. Though the other rebel took a scrape to the shoulder. Still painful but his comrade will be alright. The man took a peek out of his cover to see where the two boarders are in relations to the car. The good thing is that the two are too focused on taking the to rebels out to bother trying to move to another car. But this meant that their focus was solely on the two rebels, proven as much as the bolts continued to hit the crates and car walls. The bolts from the smugglers' rifles missed their targets, but now the two comrade rebels will have to time their own attacks precisely or they will find themselves getting seriously hurt.

Such an opportunity came as one of the two smugglers stopped firing to reload his weapon. While he did duck behind a crate, he failed to duck down low enough to protect the back of his neck and head. While the thought of taking the man out pained Tycho, as they were most likely just trying to make ends meet in the same way he did on Nar Shaddaa, but he had a job to do that he signed up for. Taking a deep breath he aimed his Westar at the smuggler and fired two bolts into him, one to the back of his neck and the other into he back of his skull.

It was a good shot. But Tycho failed to notice the other smuggler until he saw the flash of the muzzle as a bolt was sent his way. Yes he got out of the way with the bolt only scrapping his armor but this also allowed that smuggler to move to a location in the car that was a better defense. Which will make it harder for the two rebels to take him out. But at least there is only one more on the train. Until his other comrades decide to join in on the fun.

Crix nodded, glad Tycho was alrght. Their opposition was either very lucky or really skilled. Even with the defeat of his partner, the other smuggler managed to position themselves in a The gunslinger's blind spot. He knew he'd have to move in order to get a shot, but even then he wasn't sure he'd be able to take this guy out. Pushing his self-doubt to the side Crix rose into a crouch and said, "Get my back, buddy!"

Crix made his move as soon as one of the smugglers stopped to reload. Tycho took out one of them and Crix took cover. He scanned around for the smuggler but didn't see them. He came around the stack of crates and ran right into the smuggler. Both men were momentarily confused and then moved into action, Crix fired his blaster, but at the same time, the train shifted as the track started to bend. Crix lost his footing and his shot went wide. The Jedi toppled over landing flat on his back and feeling the wind fly out of him. The smuggler was thrown into the nearby crates and The rebel scrambled to his feet dashing for cover.

He slid behind a pile of durasteel containers just in time to avoid being filled with holes. He'd lost sight of Tycho and the guard now.

Great. Juuuuust great...

Attack roll was a minor fail.

With the train jolting suddenly on the track, Tycho was sent back into the wall of the car. Cursing under his breath the rebel looked around for his partner to see that he is missing. Where did he go? Tycho forced himself to calm down, he hasn't gotten far. Like himself he was probably sent to another part of the car. Which in turn can serve to be their advantage with the smuggler having to focus on two separate locations now. At least he hoped this will become an advantage for the two rebels.

Seeing that the smuggler was still relatively in the same location he tried to aim for the smuggler. But his bolt will not meet it's mark as the smuggler was jolted out of his position when the train jolted again. This will also send Tycho behind a separate stack of crates. But still out of view of his partner. Only to make matters worse. Two more smugglers managed to get into the train car they are in. Bringing the total they had to deal with in the car to three.

Now things started to look bad. But these two men should be able to handle this just fine if luck goes back to being on their side instead of the smugglers. Slamming a fresh cartridge pack into his carbine, Tycho prepared for the gunfight that will surely start breaking out any second from now.

Wind whipped pass Crix as the train hurtled toward it's destination. The battle was fully underway and the two seasoned rebels were taking a beating. Crix had only just taken cover when he spotted a speeder with three new opponents closing in on their location. The gunslinger shook his head indignantly lifting pulling his Quickdraw blaster and tracking the incoming speeder with the intent of blowing all three from the sky.

Once in range, Crix fired. The first smuggler was already moving to board and his shot was blocked by the beings body. The duel blaster bolts caught the smuggler mid-jump and sent the body back into the vehicle. The speeder's pilot attempted to maintain a steady pace with the train but as the beings body collided with the vehicle it was forced into evasive maneuvers that the second would be interloper wasn't prepared for. A wide grin spread across the gunslingers face as the speeder was forced to pull off from it's run and the second being plummeted from the vehicle.

"Two down, now where in the hell is tha--" Blaster fire cut off his internal monologue and he instinctively threw himself to the side. The other smuggler was on him in seconds. Crix fired off two shots, giving the being pause, but it wasn't for long. His enemy smelled blood and wasn't going to be deterred that easily. Crix used the time he'd bought to slide around his makeshift barrier in a feeble attempt to get into cover. With both blasters in hand he popped out of cover and was met with immediate blaster fire.

A bolt slammed into his shoulder spinning him around and sending him to the floor. He swore, and thanked the force for his scout armor, but knew another shot in that area would be much much worse. He rolled back to his cover and took a breath. He hoped Tycho would hear the scuffle and catch this smuggler unaware. If not Crix might be in serious trouble.

Crix's attack was a minor success. He stopped the next wave from joining the fray but took a direct hit to his shoulder. Results here.

10 bad guys remaining.

The gunfight did happen. But not where he was located in the train car. The criminal heard the scuffle taking place and slowly moved in the direction. He is not force sensitive but he knows that Crix is in the location of the scuffle. There is no way that the smugglers were already fighting over who gets what in the cars.

Seeing his comrade drop two of the enemy soldiers only to get hurt. Boy Tycho just wanted to take out the one remaining smuggler. Since he was coming up behind the remaining one the criminal was not noticed. And so Tycho put two bolts in the smugglers back. It took a few minutes for the smuggler to die but he will not be of any harm to his comrade anymore. Ducking behind some crates Tycho made his way over to Crix, "Are you alright Crix?" He asked as the rebel took up a defensive position to defend his comrade as he got himself back together.

But it seemed the rebels will not be catching a break as six smugglers boarded the train. Instead of all of them engaging the two rebels three engaged while the remaining three started to spread out. Possibly to get to another car, "They are trying to get to the other car. We got to stop them. If they separate the other cars from the train we will lose the goods we are trying to return to the town." Tycho told Crix as the rebel ducked down as the three smugglers that are focused on them started shooting at the two rebels.

"I'm just peachy," Crix pouted as he got back to his feet. He was thankful Tycho showed up when he did, The Jedi wasn't sure he'd of been able to take down that special forces level smuggler. Crix took a moment to gather himself, but he didn't get long. By the time he took up a position next to Tycho the next group of smugglers were already making their entrance.

Three began to spread out and the started toward them. Tycho made a good point and Crix knew they needed to deal a severe blow. Looking to his friend, Crix said, "We need to cut them off. I'll make a hole for you, get ready!"

Crix closed his eyes and pulled his Renegade from its holster. He eased to the end of the crates they'd taken cover behind and reached out with the force. He could detect the three smugglers clustered and moving toward them. The Gunslinger counted to three, stepped out of cover, and opened fire. Three shots rang out and struck true.

The first struck the lead smuggler in the chest. As his body fell the second bolt slammed into the seconds face snapping his head back unnaturally, and the final bolt caught the third in the heart. All three fell dead and with a flourish Crix holstered his weapon and moved into cover.

He spotted Tycho and fell in behind him. Ready to back the man up however he could.

His attack roll was a rousing success. Result here.

Tycho nodded as Crix told him to get ready as the other rebel got his Renegade out. Now Tycho had not seen that kind of weapon in action before so he had no idea what to expect. Well he didn't care what it would do as long as it cut down the smugglers and allowed them to stop the three from going to another train car. If they got to the other car then they can disconnect the rest of the train cars. That cannot happen.

In no time Crix had the three smugglers in front of them gunned down. Now the other three have lost their cover. Raising his carbine, Tycho aimed for the smuggler that was about to get to the door that will take him to the other car and quickly put three bolts into his body. The body slumped to the ground as the criminal moved to aim for the other but the two bolts will barely miss with one of the two causing a minor wound on the second smuggler's shoulder. The remaining two smugglers ducking for cover in response to the rebel firing in their direction. He may not have taken out both of the smugglers he was aiming for but at least it stopped them from trying to get to the other car.

Now they just had to take down these two smugglers. Tycho moved himself to some cover. The good thing with the brawl taking place in the train car, he had forgotten about the motion sickness he was complaining about earlier.

Crix was on a roll. The three before him had fallen away and the others were thrown into a panic. Tycho didn't miss the opportunity and put three bolts into the back of the smuggler that tried to make a break for it. The other two had taken to cover, but Crix was done being on the defensive. The Jedi called his lightsaber to his hand and ignited his pale blade.

Channeling the force into his body, Crix took off at superhuman speed and cut off to the right rounding the crates the smugglers had taken cover behind and with two swift strikes he put them down. The car was clear for the moment, the bodies of the smugglers were all over and a tinge of sadness pulled at The Jedi's heart. Had he made one wrong step in his life he could have very well been apart of this gang. He could have found his end at the superheated weapon of the Jedi or even worse, the Sith...

His thoughts were interrupted with the arrival of another three smugglers, apparently, these guys just didn't give up. Crix leveled his lightsaber in their direction prepared to defend any incoming blaster bolts. He refused to let this cargo fall into their hands.

Attack roll was successful.

The two are doing good. Yes, they are having a bit of a struggle here and there. But overall the two of them have been handling the situation quite well. Yes, the smugglers kept on coming. But the two comrades are proving that with their teamwork they can handle the challenge of preventing the smugglers from either taking control of the train or separating the other cars from the train to get control of the goods.

It was no different as Tycho prevented one smuggler from getting to the other car where he can then separate the cars behind the one they are in from the rest of the train. While Tycho missed the opportunity to take out the other two. Crix was already on it and took out the remaining two smugglers with his lightsaber.

Three more stubbornly dropped down into the train from the vent above. When will they give up? The rebel sighed in frustration as the three smugglers appeared stupidly right in between the two rebels. The criminal decided to use this to their advantage to do something different to bring this to a different end than one that will most likely have happened if the two rebels unleashed on them.

"You three are in a really bad spot. You know that right?" He asked the three smugglers whom looked at the two rebels. One freezing at the sight of the lightsaber. Tycho continued, "If you surrender you will avoid the ending that will happen if you don't. Surrender and you will get to live. But you will be handed over to the authorities." He told them. The man watched the three smugglers as they talked quietly among themselves in Huttese. They are talking too quietly for him to understand what they were saying to each other. If he was able to clearly hear them Tycho would have been able to translate to Crix.

But it was not necessary as the three smugglers laid their weapons down on the floor of the train. With one of them saying, "We surrender." The three will then get on their knees with their hands on their heads. Tycho walked over, kicking the weapons out of reach of the three smugglers. In no time the three smugglers were restrained and secured. Just in time as well as the train was starting to approach the town, "Crix you go get the train to stop. I will take care of these three."
