Vri did her best to be quiet and stealthy, which wasn't much but considering they had a human tank blasting down the front door her awkward shuffling was completely covered by the carnage up front. So, when she and Tac burst into the main room, Vri didn't need to be told to kill everyone and everything in sight. She opened fire with her carbine in a wide, wild arc across the room from wall to wall, killing two defenders outright and wounding a third in the arm as he dove for cover. Not that she cared, blowing holes in the walls and kicking over furniture was all part of the fun.

Looking over, she spotted Tal marching into the room, spinning his blasters between each shot, apparently just because he could. It certainly was a neat trick, it certainly showed he was good with his hands and Vri made sure to make a mental note of that for the afterparty.

"Run little rats, run for your lives!" She made sure to put two bolts into the ceiling before charging off into the right side room.

Tacitus wasn't short on targets but they were beginning to break and run at this point. Pulling his knife free from the chest he had planted it into, he stepped away from the corpses that he and his crew had made before moving on. Holding his pistol up high in his right hand and his knife in his left beside it, Tacitus pushed through the maze of make-shift doors and actual doors as well.

Turning a corner, he fired twice, blasting an unprepared man in the side of the knee before finishing him off with a blast to the neck that had it erupt in a spray of blood. This distracted the second man enough that Tacitus was able to put a bolt in his gut before he could fire. Moving forward, he slashed the man's skull open with his vibroknife before moving on.

Before the man had fallen to the ground, Tacitus was already in the next room.

Which contained exactly what he wanted; a terminal and a very sweaty young woman sitting at it typing away quickly. Tacitus pressed the barrel of his blaster against the back of her head and she froze up.

"I know what you're doing..."
he told her bluntly, "You're trying to transfer the credits away. Well I don't want you to stop... just to change the destination."

He dropped a notepad on her lap with a set of bank details Preef had given him to use for expenses on the mission. That he hadn't blown through the small allowance was mainly due to the fact that his little crew was half in it for the blood more than the credits. The sweaty woman nodded and Tacitus watched her as she made the transfers properly.

Taldorak would fire another two rounds with his westars before holstering the near smoking little blasters. A quick look around and he frowned beneath the helm "What? That's it?" He looked around at all the corpses and when he heard Tac speaking, he'd begin to move that way, making sure to step on each corpse just to make sure they were actually dead.

He was just about to whistle when a pipe came swinging around the corner and clocked him right in the helm. He cursed as he hit the deck, boy would he feel that. Kicking his leg up, he'd grip the Peacemaker while holstered and angle the leg up as he squeezed the trigger three times. Three shots, three hits, grouped around the forehead and the pipe wielder would drop with a sickening thud. "Vri, gonna need some special treatment on my head." he'd say with an audible grin.

Vri was having a lot rougher of a time than her two friends, as the second she burst into the next room some skinny kark jumped on her back and another came running up from around the table to try and club her with a prybar. She twisted around hard, letting the burlier thug slam his partner in the back, causing him to shriek with pain and lose his grip. Unfortunately, Vri barely turned back around before she took another hard blow to the helmet, which took some of the impact but wasn't as durable as Tal's beskar.

She had just enough awareness to throw herself back against the wall to dodge the next wild swing, before diving forward to tackle the man into the nearby table. Once she was on top, she started hammering his face until it stopped resembling a face and looked more like an abstract painting. It was then she heard Tal's remark.

"I got my own problems, Tal, so how about you come over here and kiss my a-" When she was done rolling the soreness out of her neck and back, she looked down to realize what she'd tackled the big guy into: the spice wrapping table. She was practically sitting in a massive pile of perfectly wrapped spice packages, all ready for delivery. It was like an early Life Day.

Huh that was a lot of noise coming from the other rooms and not all of it sounded good for his team… Tacitus focused on the terminal as the woman sent over the majority of the funds. The majority would be fine for him – the main reason for stealing their credits was to ruin the gang and having the credits was just a bonus. So he didn’t have any issues with cutting it short a few thousand or whatever.

He thought about it for a second before flicking his blaster to stun and firing into her head, sending the sweaty woman down for a long nap. Flicking it back to blaster bolts, he pulled her away from the terminal before blasting the terminal to slag with two shots. Tacitus looked down at the sweaty woman before sighing and picking her up, throwing her up onto his left shoulder.

Walking through the halls with his blaster pistol up and ready, he tread lightly.

“Tal – you know where Vri is?”
he called out to the Mando of the crew, “Vri! Where you at?”

It was time to re-group, find the spice and bug out.

Two more goons would enter the room that Vri was in, pipes raised. One stopped short as blaster bolts peppered him from behind. As the second turned, Tal slammed him against the door frame and dragged his dagger across the mans throat, spewing blood all across his armor. "Hands off my Rodian." he said as he pushed the man to the side. "Yeah, Boss! Got eyes on the minx!"

He crouched down beside Vri. "Alright, lips puckered and ready for that sweet a-oh my.. That's a lot of spice." His visor gave her a once over. "You whole, Vri?"

In all honest, Vri had been a little tuned out from the rest of the group, as she was too busy stuffing packages of spice into every pocket, fold, and nook of her outfit. By tightening down her sleeves and stuffing her jacket into her belt, she was able to stuff the outer garment with spice packs, even slipping a few down her sleeves and into the legs of her boots just to make sure she wasn't forgetting anything. In total she probably picked up a few dozen pounds in spice, but it would be all worth it in the long run. Even if this was cheap kark cut with drain cleaner and powdered duracrete, she could still sell it through the Son-Tuul for a profit.

By the time she stood up, the two thugs had nearly crept up on her with pipes, but thankfully Tal was there to cut them down before they hurt her, or more importantly the spice. Still, she got a real good laugh out of his white-knight-to-the-rescue approach to saving her, so she shook off her helmet and sauntered over to the human, putting her arms around his neck.

"My hero." She gave a short but exaggerated flutter of her eyelashes before planting a quick kiss on Tal's visor. It was about that point, however, where she noticed Tac standing across the room with a woman slung over his shoulder.

"Uh, boss, do we have time for that?" She asked, waving dismissively at what she assumed was either a prisoner, future slave, or part of the victory party.

Well Tal and Vri were both fine – if they were alright enough to give him smart-ass comments then they were fine enough to be living. Tacitus shuffled the woman on his shoulder slightly at the comment from Vri before shrugging.

“Didn’t feel like burning her alive just cus she was around.”
He admitted before adding his more honest and less honorable reason, “Plus my ship is big enough that it needs some techie weirdo at the controls. She gets the choice of that or fifty credits and a kick out my airlock onto Coruscant’s upper levels.”

Fifty credits wouldn’t get anyone anything on the upper levels except, maybe, an elevator ride down to one of the levels where she might be able to actually make a living. He looked down at the spice before reaching into a pocket and grabbing a group of matches he used to light his cigaras when he was feeling fancy.

He didn’t light them, instead gesturing to the pile of spice.

“Grab what you want before I set it on fire because this stuff is going to burn hot and it’s going to burn quick.”

As Vri's arms went around his neck, one of hers would loop around her waist. "Uh-huh, no problem, love." And when Tac entered, his arm was still around her waist. Whether it was the view, the laugh, or Tac's justification, Tal would have a nice old laugh. "I appreciate the hustle, Boss, love how you just sweep the dalae off their feet, yeah."

He'd then give Vri a teasing and playful pat before stepping over to Tac. "Here, I'll take your prize. Ya don't want her slobber all over that nice suit. Least I can scrub the stains off the armor." his arms would extend to take the girl. "Think if I threw Vri over my shoulder like that, she'd lose at least two cup sizes from the haul she snagged." his grin was audible.

"Yeah, the controls, that's where you need her." Vri openly rolled her eyes before uncoiling from Tal, only to take a pat she certainly wasn't expecting as she moved back over to the spice pile. "Don't start what you can't finish, Mando."

Vri replied in kind before tearing open one of the bags at the end and sprinkling a trail from the (still sizeable) pile of spice to the door of the room, creating an improvised fuse for them so the entire cache wouldn't cook off in one go. At least, she'd seen something similar in a cartoon as a runt and was pretty sure this was one of those 'honesty-in-holonet' things like shooting speeders to make them explode. Speaking of going off...

"Mando," She began once she heard Tac's little remark. "If I ever end up over your shoulders, it'll be to catch your head in a neck-scissor and choke you out."

By Vri's strange and specific standards, that was about one-third playful banter, one-third violent threat, and one-third proposition, all at the same time.

Tacitus just rolled his eyes at the doubt that both Tal and Vri displayed at his stated purpose for the woman he had thrown over his shoulder. Did they expect him to try and take advantage of her? He might not have any moral qualms about profiting off slavery but his taste in bed-partners had ‘consenting’ as a shared characteristic for a reason.

Not that they would know that, he supposed.

“What goes on in my ship is my business.” He reminded them before shrugging, “Besides, if I’m not sleeping with my pilot, why would I sleep with a strung out junky tech-head?”

Didn’t make sense to him.

With the makeshift fuse made, Tacitus lit the bunch of matches once everyone was out of the room proper. As they burned, he tossed them down onto the trail of spice, which immediately caught light and started to make it’s way up to the main pile of the stuff.

“Jokes on you Vri – Tal’s probably into that shite.” He noted bluntly as he pressed the button to call for the lift, “Hope you guys got a good haul of the spice while it was less than toasted.”

Tacitus himself hadn’t but, well, he was hoping to get his credit’s worth in other ways and spice wasn’t required. Plus having his new tech-head around spice would probably be bad for her cold-turkey style recovery.

"Trust me, Vri, I wouldn't even start if I didn't think I was up to task." he responded with a light laugh before it grew to a full body chuckle from Tac's addition. "He's got a point, love. That just sounds like foreplay to me."

He exited the blast zone, Tech dancer slave thing thrown over his shoulder like a bag of rice. "So.. Who wants to see how much weight this jetpack can carry?" Tal asked with an amused tone, offering to fly them out. Today was a very good day.

Vri grumbled under her helmet at the needling she was taking from her two comrades, as apparently everyone in the room had decided her bedroom habits were now the hot topic of conversation. Now, granted Vri certainly didn't have a problem with the content of the conversation, and certainly not with the two men engaged in it, but the tone was still unwarranted.

"Oh kriff you guys, let's just burn this junkie-trap down and throw a spiced-up victory party." She grunted and marched out the door, stepping over corpses and the shattered remains of the front door to find every door on the level open and the building filled with the sound of hammering feet. Apparently everyone heard the shooting and suddenly decided this wasn't a safe neighborhood anymore.

Well they had everything they came for - they'd stolen the credits off their systems and the spice from their stores. Hell, Tacitus had even managed to steal one of their accountants or tech-heads or whatever it was they had her doing. Didn't really matter to him because all that really mattered was that they had won.

In every, single, way that mattered? The gang was done and him and his crew had made it so.

That was the kind of work to bring to Preef Callo and tell him about in Tacitus' book and that made this whole thing something worthy of some celebration. He grinned as they roade the lift down to the ground floor, the sound of explosions from the top floor of the block making him grin.

"Been about two years since I last did spice... kark it, let's have ourselves a bit of a party."
