Proletariat Bounty Board

All throughout the galaxy, criminals of various backgrounds dwell and run, causing havoc and strife in their perspective sectors. To combat crime, bounty hunters come from all walks of life in the name of the hunt. While, anyone could claim to be a hunter, the most professional hunters belonged to a reputable agency, that would in turn provide premium and exclusive contracts to their hunters. With the fall of the Republic the old Bounty Hunter's Guild (BHG) was underbid by less scrupulous competitors and without a Guildmaster since the disappearance of [surl=http://www.thestarwarsrp.com/forum/index.php?threads/diva-tumi.64368/]Diva Tumi[/surl] it disbanded just two years after the Invasion of Chandrila.

Now various bounty boards pop up, each offering payments for jobs ranging from honest acquisition of owed merchandise to black market assassination. Anyone can strike a bounty off the board, making the only requirement for hunting work a good blaster and some guts. One of these boards is managed backstage from the famous Proletariat where a lounge area offers live music and spiced drinks. Rumors are abound that the Genoharadan spies on hunters that take jobs here.

There are no restrictions to getting paid for having successfully completed a bounty. All you need to do is enter the Proletariat back-stage Lounge and provide proof of completing a bounty. Payment will be wired to your credit account while you wait in the company of gorgeous Twi'lek slaves listening to the best recordings of the Diva Tumi.

Crime Wars: Coruscant​

While tensions had been rising for a while, the latest crackdown by the late Solomon Lok on their competitors had expanded the influence of the Black Maw Gang enormously throughout the lower levels. The gang had become brutally efficient, exploiting the civilians even worse than both the Imperial Discriminatory Laws or the Republic's lack of interest had been able to do in decades. They had their hands in the spice trade, the casino's, illegal armsdealing, speeder racetracks and the backroom brawler's guild and all that while it hadn't even been a speck on the radar five years ago. All of it, was thanks to T'rung Pluatta. Five years ago, T'rung had been a champion brawler running around with small arms doing simple racketeering, but when the Sith Brotherhood invaded Coruscant and all hell broke loose, he profited the most of all.

For five years he has worked to make himself the most powerful criminal on Coruscant; the Crime Lord. Unfortunately for the 6'5" Weequay, the Exchange wasn't willing to relinquish their natural title. Vesper Jame, the Exchange boss here on Coruscant, was a Twi'lek who had needed to be extra calculating and quite frankly brilliant in order to climb the ranks like she had done. Understanding the threat T'rung could one day become to her business, she send out four enforcers to destroy the Black Maw Gang bit for bit. These enforcers, all proven to be effective and highly skilled, started dismantling the spice trade, scared customers away from the gambling tables and raided arms deals until T'rung almost got a fit from the boiled up anger.

None of his own men -who were nothing but thugs- dared to take on one of the enforcers and so he went to the Proletariat and issued bounties for their heads. The human Kal Titch who was said to have hundreds of surveillance drones flying around the sector, the Cathar blademaster Daruun Cann that was fond of taking your limbs first and your head last, the Rodian Mik Genno who always seemed to have a thermal detonator primed and the Miralian Kara Lok who was said to be infatuated with the Jedi Grandmaster Valen Pelora and wielded a green lightsaber much like that of a jedi. T'rung paid for these four enforcers and Vesper Jame to get listed among the illegal bounties of the Proletariat.

Vesper Jame reportedly laughed at this desperate attempt to stop her enforcers and as a manner of joke went to the Proletariat herself to post a bounty on T'rung Pluatta for the same amount of credits he had put on her head.

Meanwhile, the Governor of Coruscant had decided to use this war as an opportunity to clean ship. More content to choose the Exchange as the lesser of two evils, Governor DeWitt posted an open bounty on Black Maw Gang members. There was bound to be even more violence in the lower levels now.

Crime Wars: Nar Shaddaa​

With the 'Army of the Light' now ruling the Hutt worlds of Nal Hutta by way of a shaky alliance with the Hutt families, various crime syndicates fear that this will work to create a monopoly for the slimy turds. A new and ambitious Exchange boss on Nar Shaddaa, whose identity has not yet been revealed, had made use of the Proletariat bounty board to post an open bounty on members of the Desilijic Crime Family and its current boss, Keddo Desilijic Koragga. No doubt this was just to test the waters and if it had the desired effect, more families would find their names on the board.

How this will develop is as of yet unclear.

How to claim a bounty
​

Claiming a bounty from the Proletariat Bounty Board is really easy!

You simply check the Archives post to see if there's already a thread underway for you desired target and if there isn't you start your own thread. Note that I will not DM the thread for you and you'll need to go at it alone or with another member as roleplay partner.

You don't need my permission to go after a bounty and you don't need to sign-up and be approved to go after one. The only exception to this rule are the Restricted Access Bounties which you can only do after completing at least [5] bounties and getting recruited by the Genoharadan in a thread I will DM.

What you do need to do is PM me the link to your thread so I can add them to the Archives so we can keep the board up to date.
