And Lee would enter. Walking down the boarding ramp, his red cloak flittering in the light breeze, Lee would see the arena. Or so it was called. For instead of a walled arena, Lee would walk out onto a great grassy field, extending as far as the eye can see. Looking out,he would see another ship, landing nearby, no doubt containg his opponent. The area was circled by small camera droids, recording the fight. The planet... was unknown. He had simply been told to board the ship for the fight. Lee would reach for his bow.

 

[Dsar]

Stepping out of a personal shuttle the republic lieutenant dressed in typical Republic Mod armor; Dsar Octir glanced across the across the arena, locking focus on Lee. His hand rested casually on his holstered blaster pistol. Hanging from his belt were two round grenades, only a demolitions expert would know that they were poison grenades. But what no one would know just by looking at them, is that they were filled with tear gas instead of standard toxic fumes.

He drew his blaster pistol, and slid a fresh power pack into the pistol, still eying his opponent.

 

[Prygus]

And Lee would begin. He would take a step forwrd, wieldinghis bow and drawing an arrow. The rrw would be let loose, flying for Dsar's neck. Meanwhile, Lee would focus the force into his legs.

 

[Dsar]

Without hesitation Dsar pulled one of the grenades from his belt and tossed it to the ground as he himself rolled to the side dodging the incoming arrow by no more then a foot.

The grenade landed about evenly between Lee and himself. Dsar hoped it would distract the jedi, perhaps making the him divert from his attack.

Little did he know the grenade wasn't going to do anything, but sit there like a steel ball.

But he did know. As he drew another arow, his antenapalps picked up Dsar's emotions. The emtions of fear at anexplosion, or even exctement at it were replaced with a smug knowledge. Thats not going to do anything! Thought Lee. Another arrow streaked towards Dsar, this time towards the chest.

[Dsar]

Dsar's ruse had failed him, but he wasn't quite out of tricks yet. He lunged forward, and hit the ground, the arrow sliding right above him, but missing as he pinned himself to the floor.

Quickly getting to his feet he sprinted for the idle grenade, and spiked it with his foot in Lee's direction. As the grenade landed a few feet away from Lee (as it wasn't a very accurate kick). Dsar aimed his blaster at the grenade, and fired.

In seconds the area surrounding the grenade would be saturated in a severely irritating lachrymal agent known as tear gas, which would make it very hard for anyone to focus.

 

[Prygus]

Damn As the grenade landed a few feet away, shot and making a hissing noise, and Dsar stood, safe from harm, Lee was struck with insperation. Releasing the force in his legs, Lee would use a massively charged force speed. He would seem to dissapear, appearing just a second later a foot away from Dsar,and a puch would be thrown at his head. The force in his legs would b exhasted, but his opponent would no doubt be surprised. The gas would spread where he had been just a second before.

[Dsar]

Dsar grinned as he saw the tear gas vapors engulf the location where he thought Lee stood. There was no doubt in his mind he was in agony, but then it hit him, literally.

Lee suddenly appeared before Dsar and struck him square in the face, sending Dsar tottering backwards. Instinctively Dsar reacted by firing a flurry of shots, blindly, back at Lee.

 

[Prygus]

And the bulles would pass over Lee. He would be on the ground, hs right leg up, delivering a kick that would launch Dsar 10 ft into the air. Meanwhile, he focused the force into his leg once again. If the blow hit and his oponent flew, Lee would disapear, propelled by a force speed jump.

 

[Dsar]

The punch had shook Dsar up, and in a way, woke him up. Having shaken off the daze delivered by Lee's punch he quickly strafes to his side, the kick barely grazing him.

With his opponent in point blank range, Dsar fires off a concentrated flurry of blaster fire aimed at Lee's torso.

 

[Prygus]

Lee would see the strafe and counter. He's faster than before. Must've woken him up. Lee would use the force in his legs, vanishing again, the bullets piercing the air where hi torso had been. Got to get rid of that gun. His speed distance was short but he appeared next to Dsar, bringing his elbow down onto his gun hand.

 

[Dsar]

A loud crack shattered Dsar's concentration as Lee slammed his elbow into his hand, it was obvious he had broken some fingers. His hand fell back to his side and Dsar stepped back, gripping his wrist in agony.

His blaster managed to stay hooked around Dsar's index finger, he quickly removed his pistol from his left hand to his right, before holstering it on his side.

He then reached for his second tear gas grenade and dropped it in front of himself, as before, it didn't go off, rather it sat idly on the ground. Dsar squeezed his left hand together and winced at the pain before refocusing back on Lee who was now roughly five feet away from him.

 

[Prygus]

And the gun is no longer a problem. Lee would drop into the Fluid Strike stance, prepared totrade blows, while focusing the force into his hands. He saw the grenade, but was not allarmed. He added some extra force to his hands by drawing the force from the grass around him, turning it brown and generally dead looking.

[Dsar]

Dsar stood fast, slowly opening and closing his left hand, the pain was strong, but Dsar was too focused on the fight to notice the fullest magnitude of the few broken fingers.

His muscles tensed and he prepared himself for Lee's next attack, his right hand hovered casually over his holstered blaster pistol as he stared down his opponent.

 

[Prygus]

(Yay! I got enough posts to be a senior member.)

Lee would wait, the force flowing into his hands. Finally, he would advance. He would slide forward a few inches. Stop, wait, and slide forward a few more. He was prepared for an attack.

 

[Dsar]

(Grats :p )

As soon as Lee got within range of the idle grenade, (Four meters in each direction). Dsar quickly drew his blaster in one fluid motion and shot the grenade, before jumping off to the side as the area was engulfed in dreadful tear gas.

 

[Prygus]

(Saw that coming)

Lee would spin as fast as he could, releasing the force from his hands outwards. It had the effect of a whirlwind around him. Although it lasted just seconds, the Gas was dispersed. The spin ended with Lee back in his stnace. He would mov forward again in the same manor, once again focusing the force into his hands and draining it from the grass.

 

[Dsar]

Dsar turned and took careful, precise aim at the Jedi, watching his movements carefully, he was almost out of tricks... almost. Dsar shot off several precise blaster shots at him as he approached.

 

[Prygus]

Acting fast, Lee would use telekenesis on the nearby grenade. He would lift it into the line of fire. Its alredy detonated carcass absorbed all of the shots and then fell to pieces. He would continue his advance. noticing several small rocks between him and Dsar. They were now about 5 ft apart. He would use telekenesis on the rocks, but leave them where they were.

 

[Dsar]

Dsar growled silently to himself and let loose a flurry of blaster shots, none of them having any direct aim. The main goal, was to ruin Lee's focus, and weaken his ability to use the force.
