Priority: Eriadu

The rise of the Bogan is at hand! For too long have we secluded ourselves in our temple and in dark crevices at the very fringes of the galaxy, mere observers of the great game which will determine the fate of the galaxy for decades to come. With the devastation of the Mandalorians and the war between the Hutt Cartel and the Sith keeping the major powers occupied, few now pay attention to our corner of the galaxy and fewer still can direct their resources toward it. We have been directed by the highest authority to take advantage of this opportunity while it lasts, and to begin preparations to seize the vital trade and manufacturing hub of Eriadu to serve as the foundation of power for our grand Empire. Keep focused, and move out!

[These missions are all play an integral part to the long-term plans of the Bogan and are designed to move the faction forward. Upon their completion, a major thread to take control of the Eriadu will be started, led by our High Lords, and all of those who contributed to making this happen will receive recognition and first choice in what roles that they wish to take in that thread. They are open to individuals of any rank, whether that be Initiated Dark Jedi or simply acolytes. The point is to get some momentum and to let you interact with your fellow Dark Jedi and contribute meaningfully to the faction via your efforts. Good luck!]

Shipyard Sabotage
[2 Players]
The Eriaduan Navy poses a serious threat to our plans. Recent intelligence has confirmed that many of its ships are undergoing extensive retrofitting and repair work at the shipyards above the planet. If we are able to successfully insert a small team of saboteurs, we would be able to wreak enormous damage on their fleet and make any attempted assault far easier. Infiltrate the shipyards and find some means of crippling their resting ships.
OBJECTIVES:
  • Main: Sabotage the Eriaduan fleet while they are off guard.
  • Bonus: Find a way of disrupting their Tibanna Gas supply without destroying it.
ASSIGNED:

The Trojan Bogan
[2 Players]
Intel has indicated that in the event of a major assault against their homeworld, the Eriaduan high command is to immediately take shelter at a secure bunker named "Green Mesa" and proceed to direct their forces from there. We must infiltrate this bunker so that when the time comes we have the ability to quickly cut the heads of Eriaduan military off from their forces-quite literally. Find a means to access the facility undetected so that when the order is given we are able to infiltrate the facility and send their forces into confusion and disarray.
OBJECTIVES:
  • Main: Acquire the necessary documents and uniforms to reach the level of security clearance required to enter Green Mesa OR create a hidden means of access to the facility without the Eriaduans becoming suspicious.
  • Bonus: Eliminate the current head of security without raising the alarm and dispose of his corpse in a location where it would not be found.

:O Just FYI, the Hutts were planning on extending their grip onto Eriadu as well. Were laying the groundwork recently, so maybe in the future this could spark some interaction between the two groups? Or was complete and total secrecy the objective?

Firstly thanks for Kiser for working on these!

*shrugs*

We have had this going on for months, it just didn't move beyond phase one till now. I suppose we could duke it out with the Hutts, but I will speak to Boli first if I get a chance.

It'll be much later, I think, so this would be viable. We were basically trying to worm our way into the gov't, and helping expand the planet's shipyards, so we would already be enemies in that aspect. I'm sure two shady groups could come to some sort of agreement though, stranger things have happened after all.

My money is on the Bogan.....

Where are the Hutts trying to nab this planet? I haven't seen any plans for it?

Neither have I to be honest. Also, to let you all know, these are official missions that take part in the line of faction events me and Boli had planned.

There might be plans, but they aren't anything more than that at this point, hence why the word was italicized. If the Bogan get to it first, obviously that messes with plans, but that's the reality of RPing. I think Insoulent was more interested in adapting said plans to spark some interaction than anything else, but then again I also think you should just go ahead and give it to the Rebels :bitchez

Also, the Exchange, being based near Haruun Kal, would probably more than likely learn of a bunch of lightsaber wielding guys attacking a neighboring planet and definitely want to take action, this new threat being in their back yard and all... At the very least we'd try to come to an arrangement....

I doubt the Exchange could do anything to stop the Bogans, or the Cartel to be fair, it would best just sucking it up and leaving it be.
