Jorhan Caelli-Merced had not been back to his homeworld of Corellia for just shy of a decade, preferring as he did to leave the past where he thought it belonged - in the past. Yet, today that was precisely where he had headed, touching down a few hours past, in some mass-haulier run by a company that clearly held customer service and comfort in as low a regard as they held their employee's hygiene, yet, who was he to complain?

Travelling light as he always did, he lead his Eopie off the ramp of the ship, having waited some time to be told he could disembark, and double checked his luggage was in place. A few backs of clothes and other items, whilst at his hip on either side rested his two trust shooters. A long rifle was stashed on the side of the beast, and, pulling his coat in against the cold, and the rim of his hat down so as to pass inconspicuously, the Bounty Hunter headed for the nearest Cantina, the Bouncing Bantha.

Unashamedly a spit-and-sawdust boozer, it looked ideal. Hitching his mount, he unhooked his rifle and slung it over his back, walking into the bar, he ignored the silence that fell across it, and approached the barman "I'll need a room, tab to be settled once I'm done using it." he announced, sliding his Bounty Hunter papers across the bar by way of identification "I trust that won't be an issue?" he asked, as the barman handed him a key card, and jerked his thumb to the stairs off to his right....

[fancybox2] Having recently escaped the clutches of the Empire, Henne had decided to move away a bit from her old territories and move up in Corellia. By moving up, she quite literally moved a few blocks up to a different district within Coronet City. With everything she owned packed up inside her large duffel bag she made the move from her previous sleeping spot beneath a construction site which had been abandoned when funding to the building had been cut, to a Cantina she had spent way too much of her credits at. Well, technically it wasn't her credits as much as one of the gangs she owed, but hey, a girl had to relax once in a while, eh?

Anyway, she had been living in the Bouncing Bantha for a few days now, not that she had paid for the bed she slept in, but then again, it couldn't really be called a bed either, and she was enjoying the fact that she had a roof above her that wasn't made out of bare concrete and didn't have to have burlap walls surrounding a small bedroll either. Nope, Henne had moved up in life, now she slept in the basement of the Bouncing Bantha in exchange for mechanical work whenever the owner needed her. Though most of the time she found that the work he wanted her to do was to hijack a speeder and move it a few blocks whenever a customer who was just that little bit too rowdy or caused a bit too much trouble around the Cantina. Again, nothing that Henne wasn't used to doing, hijacking security systems and hotwiring speeders was what she did for a living anyway, and besides, this meant she got to go for a few joy rides once in a while in a newer speeder before ditching it somewhere to pick it up and scrap it later.

Coming back to the Bouncing Bantha from a recent move of an older model speeder she glanced at the weird creature that stood hitched up outside the cantina, slowing down while examining it from a distance as she made her way into the Cantina. Pushing up the door she shook her head and glanced towards the tables, spotting a few familiar faces and giving them a nod she turned to the barman with a puzzled look. "Ay, Tomps, that thing out there, you know what that is? The four legged thing? Never seen anything like it." She asked, uncaring whether or not she had interrupted the man talking to Tomps. "That thing is huge, and I swear, I haven't touched any spice yet. Anyway, is Hoss in yet?" She wrapped up her introductory speech and looked over the rugged man, a quick glance told her that she would not like to end up on his bad side, not without proper preparation that is.

Mando Bluu was not a fan of being this far inside Sith space on his own, but when opportunity arises it is said the early mynock gets the wamprat. Information regarding his cause in the form of a bounty, a two for one special and he gets some credits from Sith coffers it must be his luck turning! Bluu's thoughts drifted about as he kicked his feet off the side of the bed that was arguably the most comfortable thing he had slept on in the last month, much better than the alleys and forest floors of late.

Standing up and grabbing his poncho, armor pieces and blaster belt Bluu began dressing. Mounting his leg and chest armor plates before clasping his blaster belt which hung a long barreled revolver style piece on his left hip, a second one of this fashion was affixed to the breastplate on the left side for a cross draw from his right hand. The green poncho came last, sitting over his armor and weapons then topped by his pack, Bluu gave a quick shoulder throw test before deciding he was entirely satisfied and picked up his helmet, stowing the T-visored piece under his shoulder and heading for the door.

Making his way down to the cantina he stopped short on the stairs two steps from the base, adjusting the sling of his rifle and placing a hand rolled cigara in his mouth, chewing on it for a second with a squint. He gave a long hard look at the well equipped dark skinned man checking in and let out a low sigh "Looks like competition caught wind." He remarked under his breath before lighting the cigara with a slim jet-flamed lighter and stowing it back in his pocket.

[ABPX3=60%]Jorhan could almost sense that there was going to be trouble in this joint the moment he moved on in, the placestank of the ingredients needed for a frak-storm - cheap boose, fast women and dull witted men. "Ay, Tomps, that answers the question of the barkeeps name "...that thing out there, you know what that is?" the alien continued to display ignorance to the great Eopie for some time, slicing across Jorhans own conversation with this 'Tomps' as she did so. Manners - in Jorhans book - cost less than blasters, and often halted the need for the latter if put to purpose, so he bit his tongue as she garbled on, waiting for her to finish.

"That there 'thing'," the Bounty Hunter placed a bitter emphasis on the word she had so crudely used to describe his mount "...is an Eopie." he gestured to the door, with a curt nod, turning to face the woman as he did so, he hands dropping casually to the butt of each of his pistols "...it's like one your speeders, but not as thirsty by way of fuel?" he added, with no small amount of sarcasm. Jorhan payed little attention to the man who had just entered the room, catching him in his sight, but paying him no heed for now.

[fancybox2] The barkeep by the name Tomps looked over at Henne and gave her a shrug, answering all of her questions at once, how disappointing. She tapped her fingers against the bar counter when the man she had interrupted spoke up with words laced with distaste as he explained that the thing was an Eopie, something she could have no way of knowing if she hadn't read it in some book, but, who had time to get book learned when you had speeders to steal and scrap and stuff to scrap to survive? She wasn't blind to the movements of his hands and made that known by moving her gaze along his arms towards whatever it was he had at his hips beneath the counter, as from her angle, all she could see was more of the bar counter. Reaching into her patched up pilot's jacket she fetched out a rugged looking pack of smokes and put one between her lips, a zippo lighter appearing from her sleeve as she ignited it and took a slow drag from the crooked cigarette.

She rolled the thing between her lips for a bit. "Eopie you say?" she asked and hummed, glancing to the side. "I knew someone named Eopie once, lost his eyes in a bar brawl to some server droid." She said and smirked. "So, is that thing your pet or something? Lover? It doesn't look to be as good as a speeder if you ask me." she said with a shrug and looked to Tomps. Debating whether to ask for a drink or not, she chewed on her lip for a bit before deciding against it. Her mind drifted back to the huge thing, the Eopie, why would anyone keep one of those around, it hadn't been anything special, looks wise, other than the fact that Henne had never seen one before. If you needed to get somewhere, the sewers wouldn't fit them and if you didn't move through there, a Speeder was a whole lot faster, and probably a lot more fun too.

After returning the lighter to his pocket Wyatt quickly moved his hand the few inches to rest on the handle of his blaster as he watched the dark skinned man making the ever obvious gesture in this line of work. Pulling softly on his cigarra and exhaling, he rocked the hammer back one click just in case things heated up, but the conversation continued on about the Eopie outside.

"You ever ride on a Blurrg stranger?" Wyatt said while sauntering to the bar counter after the woman's remarks had been made, then turning to her "The bond with a creature is a lot like getting in tune with a speeder, you really get to knowing how it works and moves." he said resting one leg on a bar stools bottom rung and producing a credit stick and tossing it to the barkeep, presumably paying for the night and the food he was in the midst of ordering as he kept one eye on the interesting duo on his right.

"Eopie you say?" Jorhan kept silent as the Lady spoke, she was - in his mind at least - one of those all-to-common gobby types one often met on the road, a happy-go-lucky spacer, which the Galaxy seemed to have in droves. There was only one major problem, and that was, whilst they often tended to just be easy on the conversation, they equally as often tended toward the side of violence. As of yet, Jorhan had no method of knowing which side of that spectrum she would fall down to, and as such, he never allowed his eyes to fall away from her.

"So, is that thing your pet or something? Lover? It doesn't look to be as good as a speeder if you ask me." she practically sneered at him, a smirk returning her comment as he spoke "It sure as hell don't break down half as often," he began as the other newcomer, Wyatt joined the conversation, likewise as cautious as he was around strangers "You ever ride on a Blurrg stranger?" the newcomer asked, Jorhan shaking his head as he removed his right hand from his weapon and gestured to the barman for a drink, by way of cooling the situation "Can't say I have friend," the drink was placed on the bartop, and Jorhan gestured to it as he removed his left hand from his weapon.

"Why don't you join us?

[fancybox2] Henne took another drag of her cigarette and looked at the stranger who she seemingly had insulted by calling his mount a 'thing' instead of an Eopie, whatever the kark that was. She still held some skepticism towards whether or not that was its true name as a species or whether or not it was just its pet name. Either way, it was a stupid name for a stupid thing. "Listen, bud, speeders only breakdown if you want them to, treat them poorly, or just don't know how to maintain them. So, you must be pretty bad at maintaining your speeders if they breakdown often for you." she said with a shrug and inhaled another wave of smoke into her lungs before blowing it out through her nose as another figure thought it'd be fitting to drop in on their conversation after seemingly eavesdropping. Though she couldn't blame him for that, the Cantina was awfully quiet for a day like this, usually someone would have cranked the jukebox up to eleven by now, but, it seemed like something kept them on edge. Perhaps it had something to do with the strangers that had arrived.

She looked over to the new stranger that joined them and gave him a once over quickly before looking back to the other stranger, the one she had been speaking to earlier. Tapping her cigarette over an ashtray she nodded to Tomps and then towards her cigarette, the man returned the nod and then brought her a more handmade looking smoke, though anyone, except for a very limited amount of people in the galaxy, would recognize it as a joint. She patted down her pockets and managed to find a credit chip which she placed on the counter in exchange for the joint and with her first smoke she lit the second one. "I don't know why y'all keep talking about riding around on animals or whatever the kark a Blurrg is, sounds made up to me, but, whatever it is, I'll bet anything that it can't beat a decent speeder with a good driver." She said, putting out the Cigarette in the ashtray and taking a hit from the hand rolled one with a slightly more relaxed stance now.

"Ay, oldie, you a bounty hunter or something?" she asked and looked at the older person as he spoke, he must have been like, forty years older than her or something, and probably a head and a half taller than her too.

Strattling the bar seat, Wyatt felt the tension ease as he watched the bar man turn and prepare a drink. Sitting slowly and removing his hand from the side of his hip, the situation seems relaxed for the time being, hopefully long enough to get a bite to eat and a drink. "Course a speeder will outrun an animal, it isn't always about speed or 'maintaining it just right' its so much more than that." Wyatt said as he took a bite of the burrito style wrap on his plate, adding extra emphasis and sarcasm when speaking of the maintenance.

Wyatt could still feel the tension in the bar in a greater sense, clearly people didn't feel too comfortable with armed strangers sitting at the bar and it was noted. The night before hadn't been as busy and maybe that's why Wyatt hadn't noticed but today was different. But he wouldn't let that bother his meal, taking a short pull of his drink and turning to listen for a response from the other man after the interestingly dressed woman posed the question "you a bounty hunter or something?"
