Coruscant again - Eddard was beginning to think that this planet was growing on him but that was impossible. The place was, as far as he was concerned, the centre of the Galaxy but that didn't mean that it was the jewel of the Empire that so many thought of it as. Certainly, there were parts of the planet that deserved all of the attention they got.

The Imperial Palace was one.

But some of the former Imperial Drasts to come to the throne had been builders as well as rulers and they had made sure that other places were just as grand as the Imperial Palace in their own way. One such place was, of all things, the Imperial Marketplace.

Honestly, stepping through marble arches to enter this bustling marketplace always made him want to smile. It was like someone had thought to themselves "What is the least civilised place on a planet?" and then done their damnedest to make it civilised.

Attempted to at least.

But one thing it did have going for it?

You were certain to get the best products and you were certain to meet people you'd never thought you'd see out and about in such a place.

And here, Nickolas Reus finds himself on Coruscant, the seat of the Empire in Imperial Republica and the famed crown jewel of the Galaxy. There's billions upon billions of people going about their boring mundane lives across the ecumenopolis. There's always background noise, be it from the people or air-speeders zooming overhead. If Nikko was being honest he personally prefers his own homeworld Hosnian Prime better. Easier on the eyes and isn't as busy or noisy (although still pretty busy in it's cities). Hosnian Prime has actual terrain too that isn't a concrete jungle.

The young Sith would blend in with the rest of the pedestrians as he went through the marble arches in the market place. It's busy. Once Nikko would be firmly inside the market place, he would stop in place and gaze through the area. Lots of people, as to be expected of course. Nikko wouldn't be sticking from the rest of the citizenry here really.

Of course, like any Sith, Nikko isn't without a lightsaber. Two lightsabers in fact. And a blaster pistol. All hidden out of sight.

Where to start first in this market place, Nikko wonders. Hmmm.

This had to be one of the most unusual job Arda had ever taken. Hours earlier she met with her contractor and gave her a job to pick out something for his mistress and then deliver it to her. In addition, her payment was already included, to "...get herself something nice while she was at it...", something seemed odd about it, but credits were credits. Not to mention, she was going to spend them in the Imperial Marketplace, she easily could afford something here and it was where, honestly she knew she could acquire "something nice". Men, no matter the species seemed to be ridiculous when they were near women.

The area was gorgeous, though. Reluctantly, she had to give the Imps credit where credit was due; there was another part of her reveled in the idea of using the marble arches as her canvas, the sterility of the Imperial design never sat well with her. It seemed artificial, and clearly projected all that was pure of a clearly impure government. A government with no interest in the people unless you were the government, descendent by blood, or wielded a laser sword. Arda let out a long sigh as she felt herself being swallowed by matters that too often consumed her thoughts when she was on the job. Remembering her purpose to be here, she stopped in front of a window of a shop, looking inside, before continuing on.

Arda wasn't even sure where to start or what to look for, let alone what was considered nice for this mistress. A devilish thought flirted with her to deliver something worthless, she wouldn't see her reaction, but the bounty that would be placed on her would give her an idea of how well it would go over. Though jewelry was probably the safest route, she'd rather avoid hits or bounties for as long as she could.

It was honestly shocking that the Sith allowed Grik to walk about without a shock collar, let alone imbibe alcohol among the public of Coruscant. Perhaps it was just another subtle intimidation tactic to be used by the higher ups that knew of the Sith Warrior. Having been tempted by the Dark Side before he even knew what the Force was, on his unforgiving homeworld, of Barab I he was prime pickings for the Sith that took him in... if he could have tamed him. Once Grik's skills were refined, he did what many Sith did when they craved power - challenged his master to a duel. He was obviously victorious and ever stronger for it. Now, he sits, acting as the resident boogeyman.

The massive Barabel sat at the bar, filling both stomachs with alcohol and bar food, his ravenous nature being tamed by the likes of Mynock Pot-stickers and Falumpasset chops, keeping the bar cook from falling asleep if nothing else. Nothing they served here would fill his void-like pair of stomachs.

Discontent with the preposterous amount of food he'd eaten, Grik stood up from the bar and left, returning to the main marketplace, bring with him his long lightsaber hilt which he kept in the sleeve of his massive armored robe. There was no subtlety with Grik. Short of keeping out of sight before blindsiding his enemies, he was never meant to be 'behind the scenes'. The long hilt of his saber was slung over his shoulder, like a small carbine, that displayed neither a stock, nor a trigger group, from a distance, it looked like a short club in comparison to the man-eater that held it. Beside it was his 'Talon of Stev'shuulsz' a two-handed vibro-longsword, the he'd forged from refined Barab Ore, which gave the blade a distinctive fiery orange appearance, and a pair of heavy blaster pistols situated on his hips. From here, he sought to find something... more filling than bar food.

This had to be the craziest trip that this Tiss must have done to date. Everyone knows how xenophobic beings residing here and within the rest of the Imperial Republica are. But Cher was curious about Coruscant, the planet that she had heard all sorts of things about. The Raptor just wanted to see what this place was like, and put all the stories and rumors she has heard to rest.

Yes she knew that she will face prejudice as people will judge her for what she is instead of what she has done for the Empire. But all that was not going to stop her from walking the streets. Keeping her talons tucked away as she walked along the streets the reptile wondered how one managed to find their way from point A to point B as well as sleep at night with all this noise. As one bloke yelled at her, Cher simply kept on walking. Ignoring the man's abusive slander. No such thing was worth her time. Besides the man didn't do anything to stop the Raptor.

The female Tiss had left her weapons on board her ship so that no one would mistaken for her being more hostile than what her appearance already gives her. Besides the creature was not here to look for a fight as she entered the market. The Raptor was amazed by the sites, smells, and sounds as she peered into the windows. Cher huffed as a kid ran off back to his mother screaming his head off the moment he looked at the reptile. So much for kids being fascinated with reptiles instead of scared of them.

Citizens of the Sith Empire far and wide make their way to the capital every single day, and this one was no different from the other trips Wyatt has made to the planets he’s heard proclaimed as the ‘jewel of the galaxy’. Coruscant was calling yet again, a bounty freshly captured and turned in has left Wyatt with some credits to burn as he makes his way towards the famed Imperial Marketplace. He heard in a cantina once you could find every single fruit that is traded in Sith space here in this market, which only left Wyatt’s mind to wonder what else he could blow some credits on during this maiden voyage into the marble arches.

With his poncho overtop armor and basic garments Wyatt usually attempts to blend in as best he can, keeping his helmet in his pack and his gaze diverted. Today he is shopping for a new set of blasters in a revolver style, a pair if he can manage or two distinct revolvers if he is unlucky.

Regardless of Wyatt’s attempts to keep his mind focused, the sight of a government official or an armed guard never goes uncounted mentally. Constantly keeping tabs on the Sith numbers in his immediate area has become a nervous tick of sorts for Wyatt with his new found distain for the government at large. In some circles talk of rebellion and showing the people who the Sith really are, has been in the air of late and for once Wyatt has found himself listening, ever since the events surrounding Medriaas.

But now wasn’t the time for those sort of thoughts, as he pushed past an extremely unique reptilian creature and almost couldn’t believe his eyes. Staring for a moment (@Nommie) and momentarily, instinctively moving his hand to his hip before dropping it and continuing on. Pushing farther down the tightly packed market street he continued browsing windows finding himself behind a woman seemingly doing the same as himself (@GABA) stopping at the same window. “It’s a wonder they can get so many people and so many things in one place to just... cooperate?” He offered accompanied by a smile and furrowed brow, carrying a tone of admiration and disbelief before continuing along in the same direction as her.

And so Korben Dallas, the best cab driver of Nar Shaddaa (i.e. crazy), had arrived at Coruscant. Who knows, maybe here he might become a well-known driver as well. Actually, Nar Shadda had plenty of jobs for him, but the problem was is that the job was boring as hell and usually has low payments, which couldn't be compared with prices on the "Smuggler Moon". Coruscant was way bigger and more ordered planet, hence there was a possibility to find a really wealthy employer who might be interested in a professional driver of a light ground vehicle. Unfortunately, Dallas wasn't so good at piloting as at driving, but he thought it was just a matter of time. Of course, driving wasn't his only skill and is extremely low on money, Korben could work even as a bounty hunter. But because he prefers to keep his honor, he rarely picks such jobs.

Upon landing at the Coruscant spaceport, he picked his twin blasters and decided to visit the Coruscant Job Center wearing his typical mechanic uniform from Nar Shaddaa which he was wearing for almost five years now. Because the planet was one of the biggest business centers, the cab driver believed that getting a well-payed and legal job would be way easier. However, when he crossed the market, beyond of which was a way to the Job Center, he suddenly runs into Cher (@Nommie). He wasn't surprised as much with stumbling as like he had met another Tiss'shar, a specimen with which has the warmest memories. When Dallas was working on Nar Shadda, he was a friend of a Tiss'shar family and helped them with a pleasure. He even able to give his heart to a female Tiss'shar. But one day they just disappear after collectors visited their home.

"Uh oh... My apologies. Did I hurt you?". Said the mercenary and he felt like whole his body was burning from the shame which had been caused by his inattention in front of his lovely alien reptile. He knew, that it was a pure luck to see Tiss'es in the Inner Rim and it would be good if Cher doesn't tear him apart for his mistake.

Well, it seemed that the marketplace had gotten both busy and a lot more... culturally diverse than it had been not too long ago. There were some more humans around, true, but they hardly did anything to mask the large lizard that seemed to think that it was entitled to just wander around here. Sighing a little bit, Eddard decided that he was going to have to keep an eye on the large beast to make sure that it wasn't going to scare the children or, Force forbid, eat them.

He bet they were boney though.

Moving into the marketplace proper, he nodded his head in greeting to another Imperial ( @Faster Than Light ) and moved closer to the Tiss'shar and the following that seemed to have just sprung up around her... him... it?

It didn't matter to Eddard.

He busied himself with buying some street food from one of the nearby vendors.

It was roasted... something.

It was meat but he honestly couldn't tell what animal it was from as he continued to watch the zoo unfold before him.

So this was Coruscant! The city wide planet that was just teaming with all walks of life, from the rich to the poor all the way from the Anzat to the Zabrak. The endless city was certainly a place where anyone could easily get lost within, either on purpose or just down to the simple act of not paying heed to where one was going. Something that of course was befalling a slight young fiery haired female as she paced her way awestricken through the market streets, her bright emerald hues eyes cutting through the oil and grease smeared facial features of the young teen. Beside her hovered a spherical metallic orb, its outer casing a mishmash of beaten blue panels, the sole distinguishable sign of life within the spherical object orbiting the young fiery haired teen was a trio of bright blue glowing optical receptors.

Turning her attention away from the market stall the young teenager regarded the hovering metallic companion beside her as it started chirping away in a series of binary based beeps. Her eyes narrowing slightly at the droids chirping. "I know we're lost ditto!" The teen retorted as she adjusted the strap of her holdal slung over her shoulders. "Besides its your fault, you were supposed to download the maps from star port before we left!" She added as she reached into a pocket of her overalls, retrieving a small metallic device with several cables hanging from it and holding her arm out to the side. The hovering droid buzzed down slightly before springing its outer casing open to reveal a spindly looking insect like droid, that perched down upon the teen's upper arm. "There you go, use the charge pack for the time being and we'll find you a proper terminal" she spoke as she passed the droid the power pack.

Turning her attention was soon pulled away from droid back to the market stands as an intoxicating whiff crossed her nostrils. The fiery haired teen's visibly lit up, as her eyes locked upon sight of a Tatooinian food stall. Driven now purely by her stomach the grease coated young female weaved through the crowd and soon fond herself standing at the front of the stall. “Hi! Can I make an order to go please?” the teen spoke before the vendor nodded in response "okay can I have, three flasks of blue thick milkshakes, two portions of lamta, three Ahrisa balls, three large boxes of Chokie, and a side of nausage and dustcrepe, no make that two, and I think that’s it” She continued before starting to rummage through her credits purse to get the payment ready for the vendor as he totalled up the family sized meal order.

As Nikko Reus was gazing around, he saw a man nod at him (@Nefieslab!). The Hosnian Prime native returned the gesture along with a friendly smile. And after that, there were three lizards. Two dinosaur things and a Barabel wearing robe, was it? Where did all these lizards come from? Besides that, still more commoners doing commoner things. Nikko's expression would change to a bored frown as well after previously nodding that one person earlier. Hmmm. Those lizards popping out of blue all of a sudden is a bit curious. Must be some sort of holiday for lizardfolk? Oh well. Doesn't matter.

Nikko would draw closer towards the market place, he'd just look through the the various vendors and kiosks, wandering slowly. He isn't interested in any food, or at least not yet. Maybe a drink soonish though. He'd keep weary of the dinosaurs and the shady looking Barabel though as he is wandering.

Arda bent slightly, placing her hands on her knees while she looked closer at some necklaces in the window. She saw a man standing behind her through the window’s reflection and she stood back up straight slowly as he made a comment about the people in the market. It took a lot of the girl’s will not to make a face, but her eyes hardened with slight annoyance and she let out a quiet sigh, taking in the unexpected conversationalist.

The dark haired girl turned to face him, an eyebrow quirked, “We’ll it doesn’t seem that hard unless you lived under a rock all your life.” Arda stated flatly trying to read the guy, but her eyes caught the lizards in the market place behind him instead. She was quiet as she tried to figure out why some of them were being so bold in a place where they would be clearly unwelcomed. Though finding herself focusing too much on matters she wished not to involve herself, she gave a nervous laugh, “We’ll I better get back to work…” she said starting off down the street to the next shop.

Though he seemed to follow along, almost like a lost dog. An idea popped in her head and she turned to him, walking a bit more slowly, albeit backwards, “Do you have good taste? I need someone to give me an honest opinion.” She asked stopping in front of a jewelry store.

Seemed like no one but him was concerned about the appearance of the lizards... oh wait, no, there it was. The population of the marketplace seemed to have recognised that there were brazen non-humans here and they did tend to take issue with such sentients.

Already there was pointing and whispering at both the barabel ( @Gian Greydragon ) and the scale-butt itself ( @Nommie ) and none of it was as polite as the terms he'd used for them in the privacy of his own mind.

He could see this turning ugly but he believed that the aliens would notice the tension soon and look to move elsewhere - hence why he turned his attention to the woman who seemed to be buying enough food and drink for her entire family. Curious, he hummed and held out his credit chip to pay, the vendor not caring who actually paid so long as someone did.

"You feeding an entire family there miss?" (@Plebometer )

Cher placed a single talon against her cheek as she stood there debating on what food to order from the stall she was standijg in front of. Yes the Tiss has indeed noticed that people were looking her including two who nodded to each other as though the two men recognized each other. The way they looked at her though was as though the two humans are not pleased to see her kind. Of course she failed to notice the big Barabel, but did notice people pointing in her direction and whispering to each other.

With how the people are starting to become hostile including the man who owned the booth, who was looking at her coldly with his arms crossed. The Tiss went to place some money down when the man told her that the cost for food will be double. The Raptor blinked then put what money she got out to pay away, "Stupid humans.." She said quietly in her native language while walking away from the booth.

The reptile stumbled a bit when some young man who was in a rush ran into her. Causing the female Tiss to lose her footing a bit. She looked at the human, stepping back cautiously, "N-no you didn't hurt me at all." Cher tilted her head a bit as she looked the human in the eyes, "You should perhaps slow down a bit? It could have easily been a child in my place." She told the man quietly. The Raptor was curious about the man though. She does recognize him, but doesn't remember where she has met him before. But since humans sometimes almost look alike, she could be simply mistaking him for another human.

Looking up to her side as a hand appeared out on her peripherary, before a voice followed suit inquiring whether she was feeding a family. Her gaze narrowed slightly in bemusement as she regarded the older man and then the growing mountain of food containers, her bright emerald eyes flitting back between the two for a few moments. "huh?" the teen responded eventually before turning her gaze back over to the food once again, her eye brows furrowing as she regarded the containers. "It's not for a family mister, that's my tea" the young firey haired teen explained as she spun her gaze back round to face the stranger who had approached her. Her fingers moving to the bright vibrant hair dyed in orange and yellows hue, before teasing the various strands of hair away from her face.

A broad cheerful grin crossed the teens features as she regarded the resulting expression over the man's features, despite the grease stains that marred her face there was no displacing the overly cheerful demeanour of the Fiery haired teen. "after three weeks of living off rehydrate food packs and recirc water whilst getting all hot and sweaty laying on my back working under three tonnes of hyperdrive accelerator coils, I need a serious junk food binge!" she elaborated, figuring that whether it were needed or not she could offer an explanation for her self confessed gluttony. Then again she seldom often had bothered to justify her questionably large food orders beyond uttering the words ' Cos I'm kriffin straved' to the other various crew members in the ship's galleys or mess halls.

Yet despite the initial shock of hearing a young teenage cheerful girl speak like any other hairy assed port side dock worker, the bigger shock would often be at how the mountain of food would inevitably disappear, and how such a slight and petite a figure could remain, especially whenever she is spotted in the mess she was often eating. Though thr way it often transpired it was frequently observed that out of all the various maintenance crew members it was often the young fiery haired teen that would be crawling around the engine cores or drive ducts the longest, eventually emerging dripping in sweat and coated in oil, grease and any other form of grime.

Coruscant was one of those places alien races usually avoided to visit, and it was for a reason, the Jewel of the Empire didn't stand people that weren't humans very well, while it usually didn't end with people lynching them, they could most certainly feel that they were not welcome, which just made them feel kind of awkward. Shadzai, however, didn't give a crap.

Why? Because he was a Massassi, a member from a race that was made of three meters tall, red killing machines, but because they were one of the most well known races in the galaxy, being a race of force sensitives warriors that were usually part of the old Sith Empire. He found strange that there were so many lizard people around though, thinking they were probably being treated worse than him since no one recognized them as sith or something important, and therefore would be treated very harshly around here

This meant that, even though the market was very crowded, people managed to stay at least a few feet away from him, not only because he looked intimidating, but also because he was surely a Sith warrior.

Shadzai was wearing normal clothing, nothing tribal like people would have expected, the Massassi was wearing black trainers, jeans, a white shirt and a leather jacket(with a lightsaber stored in the inside pocket) It was comfortable enough and made him look a little less menacing and more like an actual civilized sentient being instead of a savage brute.

The reason why he was there was simple, he had to stop to get some fuel before resuming his trip back to Korriban, heard that the Coruscant market was cool and decided to buy something pretty for that sith woman he was trying to sleep with. Shadzai approached one of the many jewelry stores, people slowly walking away with the exception of a woman walking backwards(@GABA) and her companion(@Rimrald ). Who would probably notice the tall red man looking at some expensive necklaces.

Korben doesn't care what has been happening around him because all his attention was toward Cher (@Nommie). Of course, she was absolutely right about a child, but there was something... wrong with her. Her voice and posture were so familiar to Dallas. And then the man realized - it was she is, Cher. The Tiss'shar which had disappeared two years ago from Nar Shaddaa without any reason, despite the fact her neighbors stated that she was killed or kidnapped by debts collectors. And still, she was standing in front of him, alive. Korben couldn't believe his eyes, but Cher' voice was a solid argument against which Dallas couldn't argue.

"Cher? Is that you? Unbelievable..." Said Korben slowly changing his voice to the whisper. The feeling he just having was even higher than when he bought his first ship! He couldn't resist his mind and hence hugged the reptile. If there was a sentient who could be so important for Dallas as his parents are, was this Tiss'shar. Her scent, skin... Everything had flashed in the Korben memory as the first day they met each other just to be separated two years later. But this time it won't! Dallas won't allow. "I... thought you dead. Neighbors said you were murdered. But I always knew it doesn't. My own investigation revealed it".

A dozen questions instantly occurred. Heck, he and Cher should now find a good place to talk because Dallas wanted to know what has happened with his lovely reptile. However, there was some probability is that Tiss'shar could use Korben for her own purposes if she figured out that former cab driver is her fan, but Korben point was is there no so many people in the Galaxy that were really nice to the specimen like Cher and what more important - having the feeling. Sometimes it wasn't too profitable, sometimes has no sense, but Korben enjoyed it. And hoped that black raptor too. It was more about... doing something when both sides in the affection of each other. At least Korben was.

"Are you hungry? Today everything at my expense". Offered Korben with a little grin to celebrate his meeting with Cher. He wanted to be... a gentleman in her eyes, even though he was a mercenary who almost never shows such a feature. Her gaze, as she is, was so... spellbinding. There was something magical and incredibly interesting about the reptile that forces Korben to be fascinated with her. But who knows, maybe she has some good contacts which could provide a job. And after all, the man wanted to talk with the lizard.

The woman righted her stance and noticed Wyatt in the reflection as he gave his anecdote, retorted by a clearly disinterested tone and words. Rough. Oh Gods, even worse she's heading the same direction I am... “Do you have good taste? I need someone to give me an honest opinion.”

Continuing down the walk as the woman half spun to address him, Wyatt temporarily became unaware of a small passing droid, going knees and thighs first into the thing and steadying himself with his hands on its top. Face blushing and eyes closed with embarrassment "Sorry little guy." He offered while pushing around the droid to catch up, muttering but not necesarilly quietly "Di'kut." while pulling his poncho back over the mandalorian chest piece underneath it, for a moment the armor bearing the unmissable design was present and just as quickly back under the poncho.

"Although I am not always the most spatially aware, I am honest and have been told I have good taste." He said while gazing off to mentally note a four man patrol walking down an offshoot alleyway towards more shops before returning his attention to the woman who he hoped wouldn't think he was an absolute dult. "Why, what are you shopping for in this utopia?" He ended on a heavily sarcastic note.

Arda bit her lip, trying not to laugh at the man who just stumbled over a droid, he seemed to be just as awkward in gait as he was in conversing. Though, a sudden interest caught her attention as he adjusted his poncho over his distinct Mandalorian armor. It was enough to pause her in her step as he replied, questioning the purpose of this request.

Oh, well, its for a job.” she told him, keeping it vague, details required time, and she didn’t want to spend too much time on this job.

Area spun back around, having nearly bumped into a rather large red humanoid species. She felt her jaw fall agape and slowly stepped around the Sith (@Versok) with a small echo of a Woah…

Though realizing it was probably loud enough for him to hear, the girl quickly adverted her eyes to her feet, not wishing to cause any trouble by her own natural curiosity. However, her own willpower wouldn’t be enough to keep her from stealing another glance from a creature she probably would never see again in person before going inside.

The store was lined with exotic pieces, precious stones clad in gold or silver, pieces that could be worn around the neck or crown, and even some that Arda was uncertain how they would sit on one’s person. She felt slightly overwhelmed, just by the wealth the store carried and now could better understand why some associates chose to rob places like this. The store owner came out to wait on Arda and the Mandalorian, but eyed them carefully. The girl knew she didn’t look like she belonged in there, but had the credits.

I need something nice, for a young woman, necklace, probably, can’t go wrong…I think.” She raised her eyebrows glancing at the mandalorian and then back at the store owner who nodded. “Something…timeless?” She guessed that’s what it was called, or at least of what she heard. Arda would never had set foot in a place like this, she never had the credits to even afford to look.

The store owner nodded and begun to pull pieces for Arda.
