Brax Stascuu (WIP)

Name: Brax Stascuu
Gender: Male
Age: 19-25 (TBD)
Species: Sullustan
Faction: Independent (Outer Rim Network)
Rank: N/A (?)
Home Planet: Sullust
Weight: 140 lbs
Height: 5'4"
Skin Color: Light tan skin
Hair Color: No hair
Distinguishing features: None
Force Sensitive: No
Credits: 1,000 Credits

Intelligence: He's fairly intelligent when it comes to speeders/ships, computer systems, and linguistics. His intelligence is lacking when it comes to galactic politics, economics, and other related topics.
Wisdom: He's wise enough to know which fights he should or shouldn't pick, but he doesn't tend to think ahead without the aid of someone else who is a bit wiser.
Dexterity: Dexterous enough to reach tight spots while tinkering with electronics or take the stairs two at a time without falling
Strength: Can throw a punch and lift around 50 lbs if necessary.
Constitution: Healthy, with a little bit of chub all around. Not in the best shape to be caught up in serious combat.
Charisma: Not sexually appealing to most Sullustans or people of other species, but his relative expertise with technology is his source of confidence. If/when he is able to utilize it, he can be significantly more charismatic! Otherwise, his awkwardness can turn other people off.

Personality:
Brax is not particularly talkative. He tends to listen and think before he talks. Sometimes, he thinks a little too much and then has a hard time figuring out what to say or how to say it. This can happen when talking to strangers, females, intimidating figures, and various other cases. As a result, Brax can come off as being a bit awkward and perhaps even sad or mad. Since he spends a lot of time alone or thinking to himself, he tends to assume certain things based on his own observations or experiences that aren't always accurate. (WIP)

Bio:
Born and "raised" on the planet of Sullust, Brax Stascuu was born into a lower, middle-class family in a rough neighborhood. He had an older sister who he looked up to as a child. Parents worked most of the day. They had to take care of themselves for most of the day. Public school wasn't really a thing where he grew up, so his parents paid for him and his sister to attend a small private school. It was nice, certainly better than the alternative, which was to spend their days working at their uncle's run-down speeder repair shop doing the mundane and nasty jobs that he was too cheap to pay anyone to do. But the school instructors and administration were awful, arguably sadistic to a certain extent. More specifically, his teacher was extremely strict. He would always be called out by his teacher for his strange little quirks and bad work ethic. Over the course of a few years, this caused him to close off him emotions and become a very guarded person. He began to avoid bringing attention to himself whenever possible.

As his childhood years passed, he didn't change much. He made a couple of friends and stuck close to them. It was too hard for him to be constantly socializing with mew people, so he figured he stayed in his comfort zone. He would play a lot of games in his free time such as holochess and sabacc, and ocassionally some more physical games. For the most part, he kept to himself when he wasn't with his friends or family. Even among those whom he trusted, he remained emotionally distant. He had developed an irrational fear of failure from his early childhood which caused to be shy and hesitate to initiate things, whether it be a conversation with a stranger or a new project/hobby.

Eventually, this caused him to flunk out of the school he was attending. His fragile personality caused him to succumb to the rigors of increasingly-difficult course work and a more hostile social environment among his peers at school. Unfortunately for him, there was no system in place to keep him in school despite his poor performance. His parents were disappointed to a certain extent, but they hadn't received educations either so it wasn't necessarily expected of him to go above and beyond and attend a university. However, now that he was no longer in school and 14(?) years old, he was definitely expected to help his parents out by bringing in some money. They weren't going to allow him to laze around at home all day and they couldn't bring him to their workplace. So, he was given a job at his uncle's speeder repair shop, something he had dreaded when he was much younger, but was now starting to pique his interest.

His uncle certainly loved him very much, but when they were at work, his uncle was much more stubborn and strict. Initially, Brax was put to work cleaning the place up: walls, shelves, tools, and speeders. After a few months doing that grunt work, his uncle began to teach him the ins and outs of speeders. Over the next couple of years, Brax learned enough about the trade to work on speeders himself, doubling the manpower of his uncle's business. Together, they were able to drum up more business and build a reputation in the area as an affordable and reliable speeder repair shop. As more and more money came in, the saved up to acquire some droids to help out and purchase better equipment and parts.

When he reached the age of 18, his uncle began to take on other employees and didn't require his help any more. Brax had been looking in to applying to a technical school on the planet in the interest of expanding his technological knowledge to things beyond the realm of speeders. He had never been off the planet before, so the idea of blasting up into the atmosphere was still really exciting for him.
