This is Doodle. He's the newest member of the family. Let me back up a little bit. We adopted him a few days ago from a neighbor who due to some unfortunate circumstances was having to give him away. Doodle's a big guy and a bit older and my wife and I both know the odds when it comes to shelters, especially here in the Denver area (donate to these fine folks and/or to the local shelter in your area, time and/or money helps!)

So there he is. He's a Golden Retriever, and he's just a great dog. Gets along well with my other dogs, enjoys a good walk, and loves a ride in the car.

He also took well to our poker group (my wife and I and a few friends have weekly sessions):

I'm trying to get Coltrane (our Black Lab) and Tolstoy (our Shepherd/Sheepdog mutt) to pose like this too and have us a real-old fashioned tableau.

IT SNOWED! I strapped the leash onto my bunny and tried to take him out for a stroll...

For those of you who haven't met her, this is my dog "Mo". She's 9 month old 'camp dog'
(a.k.a. so many mixed breeds she can't be labelled), who I rescued from under a building when
she was one day old. We've had her ever since.

While not technically a pet, here is a picture of a wildflower that I took when I went for a walk
with the pooch to collect these photos a day or two ago.

...as above, and just because I could.

Here's a picture of the puppy leading the way home from our 6km walk out towards one of the
best lizard hunting spots. I take her out there once a week or so to give her some serious
exercise, plus fresh meat never hurt dogs.

This is Bear. He earned his name at a young age by being remarkably ferocious with his attacking people he didn't know, and his growling. He's now the biggest softy in the world, and has an aptitude for drooling.

This is Sheila. She's new to the community, and weighs a WOPPING 1.7kg. She likes to fight with Bauer (who i don't have a picture of), who happens to weight 67kg. It's funny.

And this is Mo, my dog. My fiancé, Emma, thought it would be a funny idea to do this while the dog slept. She didn't even wake up during the event, with the flash going off, not until much, much later that night did she realise what we had done.

Thought I'd share my pug Ellie, who was very interested in a TV show I was watching about the history of tattoos.

@Cassa: Mo is a majestic dog, and a beauty! So cute.
@Mulluns: My dog Atticus lost his left eye after being mauled by a dog, I say we get eyepatches for Jericho and Cous Cous : D

My favorite bundle of fur, my cat Oreo. Of the many animals my family owns, he's my favorite. I've had him ever since he was a little kitten, and I still got him now, even though he ways in at 35 pounds. He's a fat, lazy lard but I love him to death. Whenever I get bored, I scratch him on the back, and it's hilarious what he does. He starts licking his lips rapidly, its freaking hilarious. I have several more animals in and around my house, so I may share a few more of them later.
