In the world in which you are about to enter, You will embark on a grand adventure with you as the hero. Speak to people and check things whereever you go, be it roads, towns, or caves. Gather information and hints from every source. New paths will open to you by helping people in need, overcoming challenges, and solving mysteries.

At times you will be challenged by others and attacked by wild creatures. Be brave and keep pushing on. Through your adventure we hope you will interact with all sorts and achieve personal growth. That is our biggest objective.

The Plot:

You are a new trainer from your hometown, After picking up your first pokemon from your local professor you ready yourself to embark on the grandest adventure yet. Catch and Raise your pokemon to be the strongest, Challenge Other trainers, and become the Pokemon Master.

This is a NON CANON RP meaning Ash and the others never existed.

Rules:

When you start you'll either have to make a Pokemon trainer or a Team Mystery member (Equivalent to Team Rocket, Magma, Aqua).

You decide where you start however you still have to obtain 8 badges before entering the pokemon League. The Pokemon you are able to catch are determined by the area you are in. With each battle, Training session, and event your pokemon get stronger.

New Trainers MUST start with ONE of the pokemon starters, from any region, as their first pokemon.

Guidelines and Rules

The Pokemon League

QUALIFYING FOR THE POKEMON LEAGUE

To qualify for the Pokemon League a user must have a total of 8 Gym badges and 6 viable pokemon to use in battle. A Tournament will be held in which Pokemon trainers from all the world will come to battle, Training their pokemon just as hard as you they will be some of the toughest competitors yet.

The Winner of the Tournament will have the privilege of facing the Elite four and have the chance of being crowned The Pokemon Champion.

~Rules~

I. Must have a total of Eight Badges to apply for the Pokemon League.

II. You are to have a total of six viable pokemon to use in battle for the PL.

III. The user is disqualified/loses if they are unable to use any pokemon and or are late for their match.

CATCHING POKEMON

In order to capture Pokemon, You must make a request for the Pokemon in the OOC Thread. If I approve it you can capture said pokemon. Remember you can ONLY carry six pokemon at a time, others go to your PC, so choose wisely about who you pick. The first pokemon you capture doesn't require a request.


Evolving

Pokemon Evolution has to be requested in the OOC thread. Should I believe your pokemon is ready to evolve I will approve your request in the OOC thread. It is your choice whether or not you evolve them or not.

MAIN CHARACTERS

Pokémon trainer is the term commonly used for a person who catches, occasionally names, and trains different kinds and types of Pokémon.

Most Pokémon trainers have a common goal: to be the ultimate Pokémon trainer, which is only obtainable by defeating the Elite Four and becoming the Pokémon Champion.

There are almost as many Pokémon trainers as there are Pokémon. Each one uses different Pokémon, a different fighting style, and a different attitude

SAIRU REGION MAP

Places of Interest ​

1. The Pokemon League: The meeting place of the greatest trainers in the region. Only the best may challenge the elite 4 and the Champion.
2. Victory Road: A gigantic forest that surrounds the League. Within this forest lurks powerful pokemon and equally powerful trainers. It is said that a being of pure darkness haunts the Road at night.
3. Merri Town: A beautiful little town that holds monthly celebrations in thanks to Ho-oh, who protected the first human settlers in Sairu. There is a gym in this town.
4. Gratis Basin: A verdant green valley where grass pokemon are abundant in comparison to the other areas of Sairu. One of the Elite 4 resides here.
5. Cirus Falls: A city famous for the waterfall that bears its name. The cycling road can be taken from Cirus Falls to get to Spark Foam city. One can also walk there, but the pathway is notorious for its packs of Luxray and Jolteon that fight each other for territory.
6. Spark Foam City: A beautiful city where contests are held in its parks every day. A gym is located here. Boats arrive and leave at Spark Foam every day from other regions.
7. Agua Lake: A beautiful lake where friendly water pokemon like goldeen and marill swim. The largest beedrill hive in the world is both an attraction and a nuisance to visitors.
8. Northwind town: A small town where only the hardiest live due to the weather conditions. Has a gym. Many people in the town consider Artic Flora their rivals.
9. Redfire springs: A wide expanse that surrounds Northwind known for the hundreds of geothermal and water springs that exist there. Fire types call this place home, but curiously a strain of gyarados and magikarp have adapted to living in the largest springs.
10. Crossroad Bluff: A plateau that has near perfect weather due to the winds coming from north and south. Has the most varied species of pokemon in Sairu.
11. Artic Flora town: A small town frequently covered in snow, it is almost impossible to go there by foot in most conditions unless you go through mindlit cave, which is inhabited by many rock types and is the only place in the entire region where you can find zubats.
12. Argent Peak: The tallest mountain in the region. The higher you go the more powerful the ice and fighting type pokemon that inhabit this region become. A wondrous event can be seen on top of the mountain.
13. Lamprey Town: Home to Sairu's Professor Pine (Link/Picture), the region's foremost pokemon expert. Starter pokemon given by the league are raised here in the day care center.
14. Suofreight City: A small city famous for Shibusen University, the only place in the world dedicated to the study of legendary pokemon. A dense forest that perpetually blocks sunlight surrounds the city, which is said to have a massive spectre lurking in the shadows. A gym is located here.
15. Tower Forest Town: A mystic place built in the shadow of a giant tree where many psychics meditate. Many performers do magic tricks for visitors here. Has a gym.
16. Tower Forest: A tree so colossal and ancient that people who see it from afar mistake it for a forest. It is so ancient that parts of it that have rotted through or were cut by pokemon form giant passageways. Holds many psychic types. The Shiftry that live on top of the forest are said to be the guardians of this area.
17. Domino City: The largest city in Sairu. Home to the Domino department store (inside Domino Tower) and a private reserve owned by the richest man in the city where Dragon pokemon live. Has a gym. The only place in Sairu other than Long Coast that has an airport. Other notable sights include Domino Park and a newly built pokemon stadium... [17.5- Sairu Pokemon Sanctuary: A lake side institution where pokemon can be bred and raised.]
18. Safari Zone: Where wild pokemon not native to the region can be caught. There are special rules that must be followed when catching in this area.
19. Long Coast City: A city built by the coastline. Home to the finest pokemon medicine in the region, and a circus famous for its puppeteers. Has a port that lets people get to Spark Foam without having to travel too long. Houses a gym. The land route to Long Coast has a swamp nearby where poison and bug types thrive. One of the Elite 4 resides here.
20. Legend Island: A place where a great pokemon sleeps. A small village where trainers can rest before entering Legend tomb can be found here.
21. Legend Tomb: A cavern where a great pokemon that shaped Sairu sleeps. 3 mighty guardians and a large number of Bronzong, Golem and Glaile guard the great pokemon.
22. Myth Island: A dangerous place where only the best trainers dare go. A gigantic claydol 50 feet in height guards the deepest areas of the island.
23. Condor Island: A strange jungle island where the pokemon of the past still exist in great numbers. The magikarp here are immensely powerful. A large Gym exists here as well.

Also any suggestions on how to improve things are welcome. In the previous version we used a point system, but I'm not too sure if people want something like that in an RP?

Personality: Patient and kind. Jonny is the good boy if there ever was one. He's the type of guy who would help you if he somehow could, even if that meant that he would have to go out of his way for it. He's aware that this approach may not be the "smartest", but he doesn't really care, that's how he is. He's someone who takes care of his pokemon and devotes time to them. While he may, ocasionally, behave childishly with his pokemon, he is a driven individual who doesn't slack of when it's time to train or get to work.

That used to be the rule when we previously did the RP. I'm not too hung up on it, if people don't like it. Signs up will remain open indefinitely btw as there won't be one large group of people, but rather we can split of and do our own thing in smaller groups.

Personality: Rom is a very competitive young man, always believing in pushing himself and others to the limit whether it's athletics, Pokemon training, or even mundane things like school tests and trivia. He has a drive to succeed and achieve his goals, and that intensity can often shock people who do not know him very well. Growing up in the same town as the regional Professor, Rom met a wide variety of Pokemon from a very young age and has spent his life bouncing between his constant thrill seeking and learning everything he can about the Pokemon at Professor Pine's Ranch and Laboratory. He is infamous at his trainer school for bizarre strategies and tactics in battle that seem counter intuitive but combine together neatly. Above all else, Rom shares a deep bond of compassion for all Pokemon; his greatest aspiration is to help Pokemon and good people all across the region. He has a bit of a reputation with Lamprey Town and Domino Citys' Jenny as a trouble maker for trespassing while free running and picking fights with people that he considers cruel or abusive towards their Pokemon.

Personality: Rilla is extremely energetic and competitive, she has a natural curiosity and drive to battle but her over-competitive nature can turn even the friendliest bout into a grudge match. She loves to dance and tries to incorporate her spinning and skipping into her battle routine. Rolla prefers to remain outside of the Pokeball so she can see the world around her as they travel, though the more than occasional fit of laziness often leads to her climbing into Rom's backpack and curling up comfortably there.

Name: Yosefka Kaneherst

Appearance:

Personality: Yosefka is a person who at first glance would seem like an aloof and lackluster individual, a person who mostly keeps the same disinterested expression and rarely even smiles, and almost never laughs. In truth however, Yosefka is simply shy and closely guarded with her emotions, thinking she's too obvious to read, despite things being the contrary. She grew up at Long Coast City, but had to leave for Northwind Town after events unknown to her, and shortly thereafter her father left to travel abroad, leaving her mother the one raising her, and always encouraging her to be strong for her fathers sake. Yosekfa is a person who takes peoples words at face value and puts a lot of stock in what they say, as well as a personal code of honor and loyalty. And so she took the advice of her mothers to heart, and has strived to be as strong as possible, and resulting in her appearing much colder and mature then she is. Yoseka's drive to bring honor to the Kaneherst name is what motivated her to train pokemon, liker her father did before her, and his father, and his fathers father. Yosefka tends to speak in a flat and bored sounding tone, and is often good with simply being silent and using simple shrugs or nods to get her point across. Yosefka also likes cute things, especially cute pokemon, and one day dreams of catching the cutest pokemon of all: Venomoth

Gender: Male
Personality: A hardy snivy whose grown used to the weather of northwind town, Ser Leafington is a tough pokemon who can take a hit and keep on going. Leafington enjoys being outside of its pokeball when its warm and sunny, and can be very stuborn about going back into its pokeball during this weather. However, when its cold the opposite can happen, and leafington will sometimes even protest it being out of its pokeball during the cold. Leafington is an oddball, preferring to be center stage one minute, but bashful the next, often hiding behind his trainer or behind his own tail when showered with praise or attention.

As rom says, you'd need to train it as an eevee. You'd also need to start with a starter pokemon first. But yeah, I can't imagine anyone being denied if they want to join. More the merrier.
