PO: Let It Sink In

Burkhart stood in the motor pool of the new Club House. The past day he had been busy making sure that the bodies had not been left for local law to find. It was quiet thus far for the day. The morling took a deep take on his cigara. The smell mixed with the salty ocean air coming off the water. It was as bright and sunny as ever but a gentle breeze kept him cool. This place was practically paradise.

Today would see to it that it was not peaceful though. Instead he would watch as two land speeders pulled up accompanied by five swoop bikes. It was a motorcade it would seem. A group of thugs exited the vehicles and dismounted before walking inside thee compound. Half of them stayed with the vehicles while the other half came inside. Burkhart did not move as they did so.

Located somewhere within the compound. Radth had been asked to accompany Burkhart during this mission. Well it is not everyday the clan Alor will make such a request, so of course the warrior accepted. Now deep in the compound, he is sure that he had picked a good location to ambush the biker gang members.

Armed with his pistol in his hands, Radth waited patiently for a gang member or two to come around the corner. And just that was what a pair of gang members did. Watching from his ambush point, Radth raised his pistol and pulled the trigger. But nothing happened. Mentally cursing himself as he checked the pistol. The clip is in. Everything was good to go. So what in the hell happened? The answer was simple. He either had a misfire, he had a bad clip in his pistol, or the clip is empty. Well the weapon is no longer good to him so he quietly put the pistol in the holster after putting the safety on. Unshouldering his rifle he watched as the gang members unmolestedly walked into one of the rooms, failing to notice the Mando. That will be where he will take out the two low lifes.

Burkhart watched the dozen gangster roll up and make their way into the compound. But they would not get far because Radth Kelborn, one of Burkhart's Verde opened fire on the gangsters. "Son ov a-" He did not finish his curse having not expecting the preemptive attack by his own warriors. The gangsters had not even begun hostile action. Well it seemed that Radth was feeling rather aggressive today and it did not matter either way since the gangsters would be able to avoid getting taken out in the ambush. If he was going to attack first at least take out a few of them.

Drawing his pistol he moved to the side without taking a single hit. His large body slamming into a waste bin which had a few shots strike it, causing sparks to fly. The Morling popped out and leveled the side arm at one of the gangsters that was leaning on the hood of the speeder and fired at him. The single shot caught him in the head, killing him. He dove back into cover, avoiding any other shots. Popping back out he did the same to a second gangster trying to advance into the compound.

Radth silently stepped over to the doorway that the two gangsters went into. He made sure that this time his weapon is in working order as he moved. Which thankfully it is this time. Forbid what will happen if he failed again. For sure though he will be getting earful from his Alor.

Peeking into the room he watched the two gangsters closely until one fired a shot at him. Now it is on the warrior thought as he ducked out of the way. He will then rush in and put two bolts into each man, four bolts were fired. If only he had this same results a moment ago when he tried to ambush the two men in the first place. He will have to check his pistol later.

With those two taken out, the rest of the gangsters most likely heard the shots and are now scrambling. Radth will not stay in the room where he took out the two gangsters. Instead he will step out and made his way to another part of the compound he believed the gangsters will come through.

To the side building he heard other blaster bolts being fired from his comrade, Radth. The man hopefully was dishing out the damage and not taking it. Burkhart needed to do more himself as well or else this place was going to get wrecked. The gangsters continued to fire into his cover. At this rate the waste bin was going to become a mound of slag.

Popping back up he tried to find another target. But they must have zeroed in on his position because one shot was lucky and struck his blaster pistol, destroying it and also doing some damage to his hand. He dropped back down into cover cursing. No permanent damage was done to his right hand but it hurt like hell. Now he had to think about what to use next against the gangsters. He did not have his light repeater or any long arm weapon. This was not good.

The route that Radth took as he searched for the gangsters took him right about to Burk's location. And therefore able to hear the shots that the gangsters shot at the alor. Now this had the warrior worried, as well as wondering if the dog person is alright.

Coming around the corner Radth shot at the two gangsters. One bolt only grazed the shoulder of the ganster on the right. While the left was unscathed. Well that was not good at all. To make matters worse the two did turn to face the warrior who was standing right out in the open. Two bolts will clip his left shoulder as he moved to his right to get behind cover.

But now with both Mandos in one location the two gangsters had to choose which to focus on. With the two gangsters distracted, Radth slid one of his two pistols over to Burk when he saw the alor was unarmed.

There were eight gangsters left at this point but that was still not good. He drew out his versatech cosmo wrench where it had been hanging on his belt. The utility weapon was good for fixing problems in more ways than one but in this case he was up against numerous enemies who had blasters while he just had a melee weapon. Then, he remembered something else. The mandalorian had his beskar'gam. He was so used to keeping a relativly low profile that he had forgotten about the wrist rocket he had. His hand still hurt but his weapon function was in working order.

As he had checked the wrist rocket for damages his verd must have seen him lose the sidearm and so provided him with a new one. "Thanks a bunch vod!" He called back, restowing his wrench. Next the morling stood up and leveled his wrist rocket arm and fired towards one of the speeders. The weapon would streak across the motor pool and into the front of the speeder. Exploding on impact it would kill three seperate gangsters in an amazing display. Burkhart roared triumphantly at the site before more blaster bolts began heading his way, prompting him to take cover again.

Radth released a breath he had been holding when the pistol he had slid towards Burkhart got to his leader with no problems. The gangsters didn't even notice the weapon sliding across the floor due to them being focused on the warrior, "You're welcome A'lor." He said through the comm.

The two gansters were still focused on Radth which will not be a problem for long. Stepping out of his cover he took out both of them with single bolts. One took a bolt to the chest while the other took one to the head. Hearing running the warrior turned and shot two bolts into the chest of a third gangster, "No this is what I call fun." He said as the man took cover as bolts started flying towards the two Kelborns.

The bloke moved so he was behind proper cover to protect himself from the bolts. Thinking on how they can handle what remained of the gangsters, "A'lor. If I distract them. Do you think you can take them out?" He asked his leader. If Burk thought it would work Radth will do something to draw their attention so the Morling can take out as many of them as he can.

With the damage done thanks to his wrist rocket he activated he was once again behind cover. He activated his bulwark shield gauntlet to give himself some additional protection. Radth was a capable warrior and while he had botched much of this up early on it would seem he was trying hard to make up for it. Nodding his head at his Verde he would raise the blaster in his right hand and prepare to move out on the last two gangsters. The Morling shifted so that he would be able to move in a moment's notice. It was going to be one hell of a clean up job after all of this.

Radth nodded when Burkhart gave the warrior permission to try to draw the attention of what remained of the gangsters. He moved to a position that he is sure will work well. It will allow him to get a clear shot at the gangsters and have some cover. Hopefully it will work.

But this time luck is not on Radth's side. As the warrior started moving a couple of the gangsters spotted the man and started shooting at him, a bolt slamming into Radth's right shoulder and another into his bicep.

During all this the other gangsters rushed into the compound followed by the two that spotted Radth. So much for getting their attention and holding them in place for his A'lor to take them out. The warrior mentally kicked himself, frustrated that he had failed a task that should have been easy to do, "I'm sorry, A'lor. It didn't work." He said through the comm sure that the other Kelborn already knew.

He had his blaster pistol raised and ready to be used the moment Radth drew their fire. But it would seem these gangsters were either lucky or actually decent at their job. Considering this was Corsin he would guess the former. Part of was also the Kelborn warrior's fault, maybe. But Burkhart had a feeling that the gods also had a love - hate relationship with the Kelborn Clan. It was what made him mildly superstitious.

Technically Radth had still destracted the gangsters to a degree. The Morling would pop out and fire shots into both of the gangsters that had injured his Verde. When he called out an apology to Burkhart it saved him from asking if he was still alive. "Save your apologies for later!" He called back. The regret would not do either of them any good in the moment. There were just two gangsters left, out in the open having entered the motor pool area and fired towards Burkhart again. He ducked back down in time to get a shower of sparks from the dumpster he still crouched behind.

Adjusting his position a bit. The Kelborn was able to see the two gangsters that remained. Who were out in the open as they fired at his leader. The warrior knew that if there was a chance to finish this. It is now. So his shots have got to meet their marks. Or those last two gangsters may call in for help and this fight will drag on for much longer.

Glaring at the two gangsters, the Kelborn also wanted a chance to make up for all the mistakes he had been making so far. Aiming his rifle, Radth took careful aim. Firing off two bolts at one of the gangsters, they both slammed into the bloke's skull. The body slumped to the ground.

The second now turned his attention to Radth. Unfortunately for the gangster, the warrior already had his rifle trained on him. Moving out of the way of the shots that the gangster fired, he kept his aim on the remaining enemy soldier. Two bolts were fired. One will miss but the other slammed into the gangster's abdomen. It will not be long before he is dead.

"Looks like that is all of them." Radth noted as he looked around from his vantage point and saw no one running to the scene nor coming out with blasters blazing. The mission may be a success. But Radth felt that he could have done a better job. He still has a lot of growing up to do, as well as a lot to learn.

Well he was tenacious. Kelborns did not relent when they put their minds to it. Even in the face of failure they were dauntless and kept trying. For that Burkhart could respect Radths actions. It also helped his maneuver was successful this time. The man fired and killed one of the last two.

Standing up from his position he kept the blaster pistol in one hand. It was a seen of carnage. There were bodies of the gangsters everywhere, burning patches from explosions and a column of smoke where he had blaster a speeder with his wrist rocket. The Alor made an audible sigh. This was going to be tough to explain to the local authorities. But he was sure he could twist it around to look like the gangsters had attacked them and the two Kelborn clan members were just defending their own property.

"Bloody hell." He winced and turned back to the garage. He needed a drink and that was about all he could do now. At least this way his reputation would cement itself on the planet and also take out some of the competition. Technically they had come to him. "Things couldve been andled betta but all the same let's get a bloody drank." He waved without looking back at Radth. The bar was always stocked after all.
