Korriban
Training center
Early In The Morning
The heart of the Old Sith Empire was the planet of Korriban, while many might point to Dromud Kaas or Morriband it was this world the training ground of future Sith lords that allowed this empire to thrive. For only the strong was allowed to survived, to thrive. While the rest of the galaxy weak could rule and power was shared only in this empire that the truth of the galaxy was allowed. Strong breed power only when it was allowed to compete. Where the weak could be allowed to kill each other to produce better things for this machine of a galaxy. Now this might be clear for those who are true Sith. Many of the galaxy lie to themselves.

One such liars that he learned of was the Jedi where they fooled the galaxy into allowing the strong to be tamed. To be force to kneel before others. That equality can be achieved. But that was a lie and now the galaxy was still recovering for that lie. Rebellion was everywhere now or at least so it seemed. And now here Jedrek was training in one of the many rooms that were empty filled with only training dolls and training sabers a solid stick used to stun a person wherever it hit. An with two blades in each hand he continue to strike on the empty body bag.

Jedrek was sweating as his shirtless form was channeling the power of the dark side into his body. His face full of rage as he imagined killing the man that took his family away from him. A nameless Sith who follows the Nobility and a cog of a machine. A machine that sole focus was to weaken the galaxy by allowing blood to determine one's worth. It was a pointless ideology. Something that would only continue to take away from the strength of those that were born with nothing. Such as himself and his older sister. Both born from a peasant in many eyes and now he was part of the greatest order of warriors in the history of this galaxy.

Now it was his goal to restore that truth and bring back this galaxy back to its rightful place.

Sythe sat high in the rafters of the training area deep inside the Sith Temple on Korriban.
He wasn’t there meditating or doing anything of importance other than getting away...
The other Sith were detestable... in fact everyone was detestable in his eyes. He hated everyone. No reason for it, other than they existed... He had been taught hate, bred in hate, and lived in it, and the force that resides in him made him strong because of hate.

His eyes closed for a moment until he heard the entrance to the room open. He watched as someone cave in and began training... he watched the Sith move, as he attacked the punching bag, and Sythe felt the hatred flow out of the Sith as he continued with his work out.

After a while Sythe took a deep breath and used the force to jump down from his perch and onto the floor. He wasn’t trying to scare or attack the man in any way... so he landed as far away as possible.

Upon landing, he merely stood and gave a brief nod of greeting. “Your style is good. Using two weapons can be difficult to master.” No use in “beating around the bush” he thought. He never was one for pleasantries.

Jedrek hadn't expected anyone to show up, so when he heard someone entering his little quiet place he was a bit caught off-guard. If you saw someone by themselves smacking into a training doll. It could possibly be that this person wanted to be left alone. Still whoever it was that disturbed him would definitely need to at least spar with him for a little while. Turning around he saw a man more machine then human. Or at least that was what he thought in his first seeing of this man. The anger coming off him in waving.

And having landed onto the ground as if to impress him seemed pointless Jedrek was still nothing but a acolyte. Still maybe this was one of those moments he heard much about from other acolytes when two would see each other and try to kill one another for dominance. Now he wasn't quiet sure how to get away with murder just yet in this academy but who knows. Maybe this would be the day he is tested in that. Though this man didn't seemed to be of any serious rank or Jedrek would have recognized him. So for now he simply took several deep breath's to quickly recover from his exercise. With nothing but black pants on Jedrek wasn't a impressive figure right now.

His some what scared face made him self conscious about the man staring but considering how messed up he look. Jedrek felt somewhat relieved. Though as his 6'1 form dripped in sweat he figured the man was trying to be kind or at least pleasant which was out of place for his looks and the planet.

"I trained for 6 years it better be good. Did you come here to stare or do you wish to learn what two blades can do."
Swinging them in a circle in each hand they were solid sticks unlike real lightsabers but hurt just a bad, just not without the problem of bodily harm.

Unless you hit someone really hard, having seen that first hand it was a fate he would like to avoid.

Sythe shrugged. He wasn’t one to ever back down from a challenge, in fact he usually looked for a fight in all situations. That’s what he was made for...To fight and to kill.

“I will take your offer.” He really didn’t care how long the acolyte has trained, he himself had trained all his life... and he was taught that there was always more to learn. Perhaps this was one of those times.

He walked over to the wall where the weapon’s rack was, and chose two sparring swords. One long and one short... just like his own lightsabers.
Turning back to the acolyte he gave a slight bow of his head. He wouldn’t offer his name, the man had not earned that right to know yet.
Seldom ever did.

“Let’s see what you can teach me.” It wasn’t a respectful tone, nor an insulting one. It was as it was.

Jedrek wasn't surprise at the man's willingness to take the fight. But as he channeled the power of the dark side to help rejuvenate himself, he kept his eyes on his new opponent. Which surprised him when he took a the same number of blades as himself. Was this man trying to taunt him or did he also practice with two blades. Whatever the case was he needed to focus on this task now. And it seemed to be one where his pride would be on the line.

Going into the center of the training room the Sith would drink on the hate and fear that naturally flowed thought the academy. Regaining what strength he lost in practicing against the dummy and now prepared for this new duel. With nothing but pants and two practice swords he was prepared to express on this acolyte why he has been training for as long as he has.

With the bow Jedrek was once again caught off guard, this man didn't seem like the type. But Jedrek did not return the bow, and with two sabers in hand he got into 5 feet of his opponent both his sabers up in a x formation prepared to defend himself when ready.

"I shall give you the first strike for being so humble." Jedrek wanted to see what kind of fighter he was facing before making any moves.

“Humble.” Sythe repeated with no emotion laced in it. He too drew upon his life of hate, bringing the force around him like a shield. His muscles tensed as the force courses through his veins.
He relished in the fact that he had sent a sliver of a distraction in the man’s mind already. The bow was designed for it... His master beat into him the idea that if one could distract an opponents mind, even in the slightest, then you have an advantage.

His eyes narrowed as the acolyte got into a defensive stance. It was odd that a challenger would begin with defense, but if that was what he had chosen, then Sythe would play along for a bit... seehow his skill was... then move to dictate the match when needed.

He brought his own weapons up.
His right hand (holding the long blade) was slightly higher than the left hand (which held the smaller blade) and horizontal at chest height.
His feet were shoulder width apart in the ready position.

In a flash he sent the right blade straight at the acolytes neck and just as quick brought it back in to defend a counter attack.

This was the first “test” to see how good the reflexes of his opponent actually were...

Jedrek watched this man as he seemed to have somewhat lack any emotions he could read. Which wasn't a bad thing it made it harder for Jedrek to get a read on him. Something that the Sith could respect, since it would make it difficult to figure out what he is going to do next. While he stayed prepared for a attack he watched as his opponent movement.

And when his enemy did strike it seemed almost like a faint, or at least just testing the waters out. With his left foot forward, Jedrek saw the strike coming and moved his left hand to bring his training saber to block the incoming strike to his neck trying to push, his enemies blade further out away from his body. Now since it seemed to not have a lot of force, Jedrek determined maybe now wasn't the best to counter attack just yet. No he allowed his enemy to collect himself before bringing his left saber back to protect his front having the blade point straight up just a couple of inches in front of his body.

While Jedrek's second blade in his right hand would twirl to bring the blade in a downward arc to his enemies left thigh. He had learned long enough that without the ability to move around defense became the only option someone was left with. Though he wasn't expecting much in terms of damage. He fully expected his enemy to defend. Which was why once his enemy did react. His left hand would spring into action.

Moving forward in a downward arc to strike at his enemies head, but regardless of the outcome he was prepared to jump back once his enemy had either defended or failed to react in time. He wanted to prolong the fight. To see what this person has up his sleeve.

Sythe was no stranger to combat. He had been trained in every weapon possible by his master... so when the acolyte's right sword came in toward his thigh, he fully expected a feint. So he easily blocked the longer sword with his left hand, and with his right, he brought that up horizontally to block his opponent's short sword left handed attack.
Then Sythe stepped backwards to regroup slightly...

It seemed that they had both the same idea in defending and attacking... go with feints and try to expose a weakness. But Sythe wasn't interested in doing the same thing over and over again in some sort of dueling "dance". So when he attacked again, he used the knowledge of his opponent to his advantage.
He thrust his long blade forward toward the acolyte's chest, but instead of pulling it back at the last second, in a feint, he followed the move through to the end to see how his opponent would react. As he did this, he again kept his left hand ready for a counter..

Now that his opponent reacted in the way he felt he would Jedrek jumped back readying himself as his blades each stood next to each other. Facing upward the Sith was expecting another attack shortly, and with the distance between them now Jedrek was sure he could come up with some maneuver in a quick response. Which when he saw the attack quickly came to him. Almost by reflex Jedrek to a step to his right, bringing his left hand forward to push the blade of his enemy harmlessly away. Catching his opponents blade near the tip and using the fact that Jedrek caught the blade near his own blades' base to give him the leverage advantage to push the blade away from him.

Now though was his second step with the fact that Jedrek was effectively on the side of his opponent that was currently undefended Jedrek did a quick strike to his opponents thigh once again. Though this time his opponent would have to find a way to quickly bring his own blade from his opposite side without striking his own hand to defend against the strike. It was a advantageous position he found himself in and he planned on capitalizing it.

If his opponent went for the offensive move despite being caught his blade still had enough length to provide some protection against a head strike if he tilted the blade that was currently dealing with the one that aimed for his chest. It had been some time since he sparred with someone so the energy that went though him energize him as he rarely got the chance to show someone why he has reach this point.

Having felt like somewhat a outcast among his fellow Sith, Jedrek wanted to prove himself and right now sadly his opponent was just going to be the target for his rage.

He was good... Sythe would give him that much... but the Sith was also planning ahead. He hadn't been trained all his life just to lose, he was trained to win at any cost.
A hit or two was part of the plan. Sythe knew he had overcommitted, which took him in very close proximity to his goal and the acolyte as his opponent did exactly what he thought he had baited him to do.
He sidestepped...and attacked his thigh. Precisely what Sythe wanted to happen.
He was taught long ago that in order to win, sacrifices would possibly have to be made, and this sparring match was no different.
So as the acolyte hit Sythe's leg, he went down to one knee, absorbing the hit and completing the ruse. He released the force to strengthen his next move...Then Sythe twisted his chest to bring his left hand, now weaponless and fist closed into the chest of his opponent.

Jedrek smirked as his strike the man's thigh stunning the muscles and making it next to impossible for the man to be able to use it effectively for the remainder of the fight. Still as he was prepared for a second strike it seemed his enemy was looking for a more personal fight. Watching his enemy go to a knee he was going to swing his right hand into the man's stomach for insurance purposes in this fight. But it seemed to be interrupted by a surprised punch. Now it did throw Jedrek off balance, but it wouldn't stop his strike aimed for the man's stomach.

Still it was a surprise he was willing to continue the fight at all, if his own strike hit and his opponent didn't try to lock him to the spot, Jedrek would jump back out of combat range. His chest flaring up as the pain spread, the best case scenario it was brushed but for now the fight wasn't over it seemed. Still Jedrek was taking a moment to regain some air, as it required his connection to the dark side to not be in serious condition because of the air being knocked out of him.

Not wanting to stop and rest to long Jedrek would begin circling his enemy, slowly while he was doing several deep and slow breath's to calm his heart. While he did this the two blades lay in front of him in a x position once again always aimed to his enemy. Jedrek wasn't about to give another opening to his opponent. And it seemed that this man had a strong will to continue fighting despite the pain. Which Jedrek had to respect so he was willing to grant his enemy that much at least.

For now though Jedrek waited to see what was going to happen, and if his opponent was going to him which seemed doubtful with his injured leg. So that meant most likely that Jedrek would be the one to make the next attack.

As his fist connected and drove back the acolyte... Sythe stood. The pain in his leg was there, but he also didn't care. Getting hurt was a risk he had to take in order to land the blow to his opponent's chest. Sythe also knew that in using the force, the blow would've done more damage than just a normal blow would have, so he figured that they were now even, having traded an injury for an injury.

He turned as the other one began to circle, but the pain in his leg wouldn't allow too much weight to be put onto it... so he would have to adjust to fighting on his good leg for now. He wasn't going to back down, in fact he was ready to fight to the death if it came to it... but was his opponent ready for that kind of fight? Then he got an idea... a crazy one, but an idea none-the-less.
"Are you done with this yet?" he asked. "We could probably go til one of us is dead, which is fine by me. But... how about we talk about a partnership instead?"
This was probably the most he had spoken to anyone in the last few years, but the man had earned a conversation for now.

Jedrek continue to circle the man as he stood up his leg no doubt going to be a problem is the fight continue. And even if his own chest was aching in its own pain the Sith used it to strengthen his own power of the dark force that feed them both. But as he continue to walk around sizing up his opponent who now was limited in movement. So when the man began to speak Jedrek figured it was a way to avoid getting hurt more.

But as he spoke Jedrek stopped and he spoke of alliances. Was this man serious? Jedrek himself had been looking to form a partnership for quiet some time now.

"As fun as beating you would be, I would be willing to listen if I get you name first. As mine is Jedrek." As they were both Sith this partnership will be a means to a end for sure but one they both could benefit from.

It had been sometime since he had someone watching his back, though he didn't quiet yet trust the man with everything. Some small part of him wanted to be right in trusting the man more in the future.

The acolyte leaned on the long sword as if it were a cane. "You have earned the right to know my name. I am called Sythe." He thought about what to say next as this situation could lend itself to a partnership... one that would be mutual beneficial.
"As you know the Sith are becoming weak. They are too caught up in politics to be effective force users. I propose we form a partnership and use our giftings to wreak havoc on those who have become... soft. Re-establish the Dark side as the dominant power in the galaxy."
It was a little more than what he had planned to say, but there it was. Either he would be walking out of the room alone.. or with a new partner.

As the man introduces himself, the Sith was happy to see that it seemed this man now named Sythe was willing to speak. Jedrek needed allies so far he had only a small handful of people he could trust. There was many different reasons for him to want to form a alliance even if they were Sith. As Sith have not been known for being trustworthy when in came to working together. Which might worry Jedrek but what else could he do. Right now he needed more people to help him with some of his plans.

But listening to his own politics, Jedrek smiled it seemed this man could be worked with. Maybe this was going to go well for him and his new 'ally' Sythe.

"I can understand where you come from. As for going about an causing havoc, I would not be opposed to that. Now I have a idea, any group needs a base to work from why don't we discuss this in a better environment and we can plan some things out." Jedrek would walk and put his own blades away before turning to Sythe and heading out of the practice hall to discuss plans of the future.

Sythe put the practice blades away as well and then followed Jedrek out of the training room.
A base of operations would be most beneficial. It would keep prying ears from listening to their plans, as well as being able to invite (or not) others into their plans without the whole Sith Temple knowing about it.

“I sense you already have a place in mind?” Sythe asked.

Jedrek smiled as the man began to walk with him, so far it seemed like he was having a better day then he would have thought. So far it was day after day of working on other projects for others. Now though his time to make his own name was beginning. As the man seemed interested in his proposal it was clear he had already gotten one person interested in listening to his idea's. Now was the time for him to move forward and start his ultimate goal. Though it was every changing and could change at any moment Jedrek had a goal in mind right now.

As for the place in mind, Jedrek looked over to Sythe with a knowing look. The Sith had a spot in Dormud Kaas but he would need more than who was with him right now.

"Yes I do but we need more people for what I have in mind. But do not fret I have some people in mind." Jedrek's smile never left as his eyes grew more orange feeding the dark side within him with his ambition and desire.

"For now we will go on our lives until every piece is in place. I look forward to working with you." Jedrek said hoping to make sure this alliance was going to continue.

Sythe stopped and looked at Jedrek.
“Let me know when you are ready to proceed. I will be there as agreed.”

With that he turned and headed toward the exit of the temple. Knowing and quite pleased that his plans we’re falling into place.
