...Meanwhile at the ball on Serreno


After they had downed another drink, they had grabbed some refills and Nova had pulled Ronan outside. The starry nightsky was free of clouds and it was only the faint light of Serenno's two moons that illuminated the sea shore below. It was pleasantly warm, maybe a little too humid for Nova's taste but the atmosphere was much better than inside, where the whole room was crowded and all the unnecessary people annoying.

Once they stepped outside, she let go of his hand for now, approaching the railing of the balcony and looking over it. She realized that the alcohol was starting to make her feel dizzy as she was slowly starting to stagger. However, it made her chuckle a little. Leaning against the railing, she faced the elegantly dressed man across her. "So tell me. Were you having fun so far? I think the actual fun is just about to begin" she said to him with a devilish, hinting smirk. Truth was, she had no idea why she said that, but she felt like this night could turn out to be fun anyway.

Ronan let himself be led out onto the balcony overlooking the sea. The breeze ruffled his hair, lifting his ponytail off his back. It was much cooler out here, although he was still inexplicably hot despite the dark sky and the sea wind.

His face retained his usual charming smirk as she gave her own insinuating grin. "What did you have in mind?" he said, taking a step forward. If he hadn't used the Force to stabilize himself, his footing would not have been so sure due to the alcohol. Maybe it would be better not to think tonight, if it went where he thought it was going. Maybe it would be better if alcohol helped clear away any lingering doubt either of them had.

While Nova let her gaze wonder over the scenery yet another time, her eyes were soon locked with his. She was trying to find out what she was doing here. Why did she even lead him here? To fool around? Maybe...but was that actually what she wanted? She felt a little confused by her own thoughts, but she knew that the alcohol was blurring her mind anyway. "What I had in mind? Well, nothing specific" she lied, playfully tilting her head to the side. Was it a lie? Well no. Actually she had a plan. She wanted answers, but she forgot all the questions. She was still curious about him, but she was also not sure on how to begin. She took another sip of her drink and placed the glass on the railing then, throwing him a challenging look. "Maybe you're not even worth my time. Maybe you need to prove yourself first" she suggested, another smirk appearing on her lips again.

It seemed both of them would dance around the topic they both knew the other was thinking of, waiting for the other to break and make a move first. Well, it wouldn't be Ronan. "You're the one who dragged me out here, if anything, maybe you should prove yourself to see if you are worth my time," he replied, flipping it back to her. He stayed where he stood, a couple paces in front of her, waiting for her to make the next mood. "If you want to know more about me all you have to do is ask," he said, looking down at her. He was glad for the drunken state he was in; or else he might turn around and leave.

Despite her young age, Nova had actually sworn she would stay away from men for now, and yet she felt like she would throw away those resolutions , because her drunk mind told her that was a good idea. After all, she could use both, fun and distraction and Ronan didn't seem averse. So why not? Why couldn't she just let her guard down? For now, it seemed like she needed a little more time and probably also more alcohol. With that in the back of her mind, she took another sip before pretending to think about his proposal. She actually had her first question ready, but she wanted to play it casual. "First of all, I am totally worth your time. Second of all, here's my question: Where did you plan on staying tonight?" she blurted out quite direct, a charming smile on her lips. Why taking it slow anyway?

Ronan was amused when Nova confidently said she was worth his time. "Confident, I see," he said, crossing his arms, before uncrossing them again. "I actually did not have a place in mind tonight," he continued, even more amused at her rather direct question. "What about you?" he said. His voice dropped seemingly of its own accord.

Somehow, this deep voice was extremely attractive. She knew she was about to make a mistake, but she simply couldn't stop. "Well, spontaneous as I am", she began. Sober Nova wasn't spontaneous at all. Drunk Nova was a different story though. "I didn't have any plans either. But I've heard rumors that there are some very pleasant rooms nearby", she carried on, her voice shifting into an almost seductive tone. She hated herself fir suddenly feeling so attracted to that man. Actually, she was hoping that she could dig deeper and find out what was bothering him on Dantooine, but right now, she couldn't even think straight.

It seemed they were trying to out-seduce each other. "Really?" Ronan said, finishing the rest of his drink in one gulp. If he wasn't drunk before, he was definitely drunk now. "Lead on," he continued, gesturing a hand out to the side. They were indeed thinking of the same thing.

Nova couldn't quite believe that this was actually happening. It was well...fast. But she wouldn't complain. The night was still young, he was attractive and she could definitely use the distraction. Her smirk broadened once he gulped down his drink, but before she grabbed his hand again, she emptied her own glass. She was beyond drunk. She really lost control of her actions. All she could think of was him, but he seemed to be thinking the exact same thing and so she just carried on confidently. She grabbed his hand and led him off the balcony and into the direction of the rooms that had been prepared for the participants of the ball. She staggered visibly, but not even this would stop her.

Ronan was too drunk to protest as Nova took his hand again and led him to the rooms adjacent to the ballroom. Whoever planned this event knew something like this was likely to happen when you give Sith alcohol. Nova staggered but so did Ronan so neither of them said anything or stopped. They reached an unlocked room and he followed her inside, wondering who would make the first move as he shut the door behind him.

Even though her vision was blurry, she tried to find the fastest way to the rooms, which wasn't that easy because it was rather dark. However, the way wasn't actually long and so they soon found the said corridor. The first door they tried was fortunately not even locked and so they both staggered inside, Nova shutting the door behind them. Not wasting any time, she let go of his hand, just to grab his face with both of her own hands and she immediately started kissing him wildly. She wasn't thinking straight any more, but the alcohol had re-lit her passion.

Ronan was not at all surprised when Nova was suddenly kissing him. He didn't think before snaking his arms around her waist and back, pressing her body against his. He fell back against the door, one hand moving up into her hair. It had been so long since he had felt this way but he couldn't seem to remember why or when or how or anything just Nova's hands on his face, her mouth moving against his. They were both obviously desperate, neither of them knowing what the other needed a distraction from.

Ronan pushed off the door and walked forward, still kissing Nova, his arms still wrapped tightly around her. He pulled away for a brief second and opened his eyes, making sure the bed was nearby, before he shut his eyes again and dropped his mouth to her neck. He kissed the side of her neck until the back of Nova's knees hit the bed. She fell over and Ronan fell on top of her; letting go of her to brace his arms on either side of her head so he wouldn't crush her.

Was this how pure desperation felt like? Admittedly, it didn't feel bad at all. No, actually, it felt quite good. She could feel the heat radiating from his body while he pressed himself against her. She grew breathless quite fast, completely engaged in this well...fast and intense turn of events. She let herself be pushed back by him, landing on the soft mattress with a soft moan of suprise. Once on her back, she immediately moved her hands away from his back and started to unbutton his white shirt quickly. When the fabric was gone, she could finally touch his hot soft skin, which immediately brought a smile back to her lips while kissing him passionately again. Her hands immediately wandered from his bare chest towards his naked back again. Suddenly however, one last meaningful thought crossed her blurry, drunk mind: They didn't lock the door. She freed one of her hands and left his body only reluctantly, but with the last bit of concentration she gestured towards the door, using the Force to press the button which would lock the room.

Ronan sucked in a breath when in a couple of seconds Nova had removed his suit jacket and white shirt underneath. He kicked off his shoes and took off his socks in the brief moment Nova leaned up slightly to lock the door with the Force. When she laid down again Ronan continued where they had left off. Nova may have started it but he certainly wasn't stopping it.

He slid one hand under her back and unzipped her dress, tugging it down her body in one fluid motion until she was bare from the waist up. He pulled back slightly as if drinking her in and then seconds later he leaned over her again, kissing her mouth and pressing their bodies against each other once more.

She let him undress her, slightly amazed by this skill. It somehow seemed like he did this more often than she had first expected...or didn't he? She wasn't quite sure, but it didn't matter anyway. For now, he did exactly what she had wanted. As soon as he had pulled her dress down, she pulled him even closer, pressing her lips against his. She hoped that he wouldn't view this as something serious, but it actually didn't matter as their lives were probably not meant to cross another time.

After a while of kissing, she pulled back, slightly pushing him to the side, so that she could sit on top of him. She started opening his pants before she removed them as well, carelessly throwing them into the corner of the room before her lips found their way back to his.

[Hailee Lightwood]

Out of a sudden, Hailee felt this strange pull of the Force. She sat up, wondering what it could be, but she couldn't make any sense out of it. She leaned back, letting herself down on the mattress again, but thus intense feeling reoccurred, even stronger than before. She sat up, wanting to get herself some water, but this Force pull didn't stop. She got up and closed her eyes, remembering what the Jedi had taught her and entered this meditative state of mind, but once she opened her eyes, she couldn't grasp what she was seeing. Him. Ronan. She could suddenly see him quite clear, laying outstretched in a dim lit room, half naked already while a woman freed him of his pants. The worst of all: She knew this woman. She had seen her before. The memory struck her like a lightning. This was the exact same woman which had pulled her into the abyss in one of her nightmares on Moraband.

Moraband. The thought of this planet alone let an icy shiver ran down her spine. She had tried to suppress all memories, but they suddenly came back all at once. She breathed hard, trying to escape that weird situation, but it was as though she was frozen kn the spot next to this bed. Was this just a dream? She tried to turn her head and avert her gaze, but it felt as though she was paralyzed. She wanted to scream, but she couldn't even open her mouth and out of a sudden she was back in her room. She felt the wrath. She felt angrier than she had ever felt before, and this time, she couldn't hold her emotions back...

Ronan did not protest when Nova rolled them over and straddled his waist. In a quick, hurried move, he had lost his pants. He suddenly felt something tickling the back of his mind, as if there was something he should be remembering but the more he thought about it the more his head hurt, so he gave up and focused on Nova once more.

They were both in their underwear and then, after quick moves on Ronan's part, they weren't. Ronan dragged one hand down Nova's bare back, over her backside, and then down the backs of her legs. His other hand reached up to her hair and tugged out the pins holding it up. Her dark waves cascaded down, falling around their faces like a curtain. He flipped them over again so he was back on top. Their bodies seemed to meld in a culmination of hot passion, hands and mouths roaming.

Her vision was still blurry, but the parts she could still see were rather pleasant. He was attractive. Even without that suit. That was enough reason for her to carry on. For a brief moment he seemed to get carried away, but a second later he was already back so she didn't bother to ask. She let him finish the process of undressing with a pleasant smile still on her lips before he was the one on top again. All the fabric that separated them before was gone now and his bare skin against hers felt great. She let out another moan inbetween the kisses, because she couldn't deny that he definitely had some skills. The temperature in the room seemed to have increased vehemently and she literally melted in his strong arms. Normally, she wouldn't let a man take the reins, but for now she was quite glad he was mostly in control because the alcohol made it hard for her to move much.

Ronan could not help letting out a gasp of his own as they became one in this brief moment of intensity. His mouth kissed hers again, slower and slower as the alcohol finally took its effect. He pressed a long kiss to her collarbone before rolling over onto his side and passing out.

First they were all caught up in the heat of the moment but as soon as they were done, it seemed like Nova had immediately forgotten what had just happened. This didn't bother her though, because he once he rolled down, she immediately passed out, not knowing whether it was from the exhaustion or from the alcohol.

~~~The next morning ~~~

When Nova opened her eyes, the sun was directly shining in her face, immediately blinding her, triggering an immense headache. They hadn't closed the curtains. But that was not the thing she regretted. Once she shielded her eyes with a hand, her gaze fell on Ronan, who laid right next to her, as naked as she was. "You've got to be kidding me" she cursed under her breath as the first wave of wrath hit her.
