Lt. Tarrius Drast
The night sky, once dark, was now engulfed in smoke and an orange hue. The sound of blaster fire rained through the air. Many civilians were crying as they were funneled through the Republic safety checkpoint. It seemed all hell had broken loose with the Empire dissolving into anarchy. Moffs once loyal to the Empire had turned into warlords, and Carida had become exactly that.
Tarrius peered out towards the chaotic streets, his Imperial helm in hand. To see the Empire his family had built crumbling one by one felt a lot more different than he expected. He had yearned for this day, and as it came, it didn't bring him happiness or enjoyment, but to see how bad they had left it all. Even with his family stripped of power there were still those dying because of them, and with each death he felt the weight of their actions on his shoulders.
The soldier fastened his Imperial helmet onto his head before making his way towards the other troops, who had begun to prep for deployment. He'd give a nod towards Ryker as he looked over the holo-image of the city. "We're to bring peace to the streets and carve a path towards the Imperial Naval Academy." He'd pause as the image focused in on the center. "We're currently three blocks away, scouts are reporting only light looting on the first block, but heavy activity as we move closer towards that base. 1st Platoon reports state there are Imperial Death Squads out there so be alive and keep your head on a swivel. These Imps hate each other just as much as they hate us."
His eyes would shift over the men for one last time, "We're here to save these civilians. If I catch any of you fragging them, I'll court marshal you myself and ship you to the JCDC myself. Do I make myself clear?"
