On the Outer Rim between Manpha and Terminus.

Cap’n, we’r comin up on an Oceanspray Freighter, no escort, lightly armed with only one laser. Shields aren’t active” Dax a heavy Basilisk male growled into the on board comms. "Sinya, Anna prepare for contact." Kae'Tl ordered as she contemplated what her next move would be. The Twi'Lek and Mirialan females quickly rushed from their relaxed states into their stations. "Lasers at the ready" Sinya said in a kind but serious voice. "Concussion missiles coming online" Anna a beautiful Mirialan said with a hint of an accent acquired from her home-world. "Dax, activate the shields" Kae'Tl ordered as she took her seat in the captain’s chair closing in on the freighter bringing it into range of the Alecto’s armament quickly and quietly. "Aye Cap'n the shields are online" Dax replied. “Dax keep us clear on the radar, I don’t want anyone interrupting us.” “Aye Cap’n we’re all clear.

Once in range Kae’Tl gave the order,”Anna, Fire! Disable the freighter’s engines! Sinya, Take out that laser cannon!” A simultaneous “AYE!” rang out on the ships onboard comm links as the Alecto’s Four Heavy Laser Cannons roared lights into the open space smashing the single mounted laser cannon attached to the Oceanspray Freighter to space dust, and a pair of Concussion Missiles launched diminishing the engines of the Freighter leaving the ship fully disabled and without the ability to defend itself.

Taking us in, crew prepare for boarding!” Kae’Tl barked,"Vintar, you will lead the assualt" she said, a touch softer than her other orders, motioning to the newly hired Mandalorian mercenary. Normally Kae'Tl steered clear of Mandalorians but this one somehow caught her eye, Human though he may be, his cropped black hair and his stubble laden face on top of a vastly muscular body, this male specimen was defiantly Kae'Tl's definition of an attractive alien species. Even through his heavy set of black and gold colored Mandalorian CCT armor Kae'Tl could tell that this man was riddled with muscles. For the time being though she would stay focused on the mission at hand and decide what her future relationship with this man would be based on his actions after he was paid for his part.

A nod of the head. That usually meant things like "Yes, you’re free to proceed. Move along. Move along." Or things like "Yeah, I slept with her. What of it?” Or things like "I choose violence.” Today, it pretty much meant the latter. As his captain or, rather, his current captain insofar as she would stop being his captain insofar as he completed his job, got paid for it and bounced, assigned him his role, Vintar nodded and cracked his knuckles.

“Right, time to mosey.”

He noticed one of the crewmembers giving him a look.

“What? You don’t like this word, “mosey”?

Vintar, for his part, found it absolutely delicious. Just like violence and sleeping with someone else’s woman. Free to proceed, Vintar moved along. He checked his grenades, seized his rifle and pounded a fist against his chest as he moved toward the hatch.

“All right, you kriffing drukheads! Anyone who crosses in front of me gets a bolt in the back! Anyone who retreats gets two in the head!”

He aptly ignored protests along the lines of “Who does he think he kriffing is!?” and “Who do you think you kriffing are!?” Rather, Vintar paused at the hatch, turned to face his minions and took a small silence in ceremony as he looked from one minion to the other.

“I’m Vintar Hayec, the baddest mother kriffer in the galaxy, and I aim to misbehave.” He cocked his rifle.

With that, Vintar kriffing Hayec slipped his helmet on, faced the hatch and sprung the door open. He stepped through. Fortunately, his current crewmates had since made sure that the opposing ship’s hatch remained unlocked, though the door was still down. They stood facing it.

“Shields up! Grenades out! Smiles on! Poppin’ hatch!” Vintar called, his helmeted voice bubbling with adrenaline.

The timing was bare. Perfect. Adequate. Simply so. A moment later, the freighter’s door opened and several concussives were tossed inside at the same moment that blaster bolts came flying toward the boarding crew. The enemy had had enough time to prepare. Vintar charged ahead anyway, shield gauntlet raised to absorb the first shot before he found cover behind a crate and maintained the exchange of blaster fire. It appeared that some of the receiving crew had helmets on capable of dealing with the grenades just dealt them. Perfect. I love a fight. Best way to get a boner. It wouldn’t last long. Helmets or not, the grenades had done well to screen the boarding crew’s entrance. The rest was left to them.

Lasers flew from behind cover as Dax the four armed Basilisk dual wielding a pair of XPC-71 Particle Blaster Rifles pumped round after round, mostly as cover fire, into the "enemy" freighter. Anna the ships dedicated missile gunner and ground force sniper resorting to a pair of CMBP-12's took cover quickly waiting for the dust to settle before joining in with the skirmish. Sinya, a Twi'Lek, and the crews main assault "trooper" took her place next to Vintar brandishing her CZ CMP2.

A little ways behind the vanguard stood Kae'Tl the only one in the group not wearing armor or brandishing a firearm. Although she knew Vintar would never address her as he did her crew, she watched his every move as though it were one fluid entity rolling in unison. His actions were trained, and calculated even if he were a bit cocky it appeared he had earned the right to be. He knew exactly how to handle the situation leading her crew effortlessly into the heat of battle, the rag tag team of misfits as they were they had almost become like a family to her.

After a moment of appreciation of her newest associate, a pair of lightsabers flew from her waist cape and landed perfectly in her hands, she activated them both at the same time and a beautiful red glow filled the boarding area, a dark core red lightsaber in her right hand and a standard core copy in her left."Let's go." she whispered to herself, after taking her eyes off Vintar for the first time since before the doors opened.

On board the freighter a solitary scream could be heard over the blaster fire,"It's the Sith!" although incorrect, the voice was clearly filled with a misinformed but still fitting fear.

Bolts flew right over Vintar’s head, posing nothing of a threat given the fact that they first passed over the crate that hid said head. He had no mind of losing it, at least not physically. Given the right gun and the right caliber, the right level of adrenaline and the right kind of battle, however, well, he might just lose his head to the carnage. His new friends probably wouldn’t have disagreed. One of them had found a spot beside him. That was swell. There was room enough for two and, even if there were not, Vintar would always make room for a female Twi’lek. She’s got nice lekku. I’d like to squeeze them. That thought had been completed with a squeeze of his trigger just as she had reentered cover and he had taken that as his cue to take over for the moment.

One. Two. Three. That’s my count. What’s everyone else’s? Granted, he was too busy fighting his own to find out, but corpses lay strewn about that weren’t of his own creation. Clearly, aside from anything else, one thing was for certain in this game: the home team was getting slaughtered and the away team was slaughtering them. Whether that was all thanks to Vintar was any pirate’s guess. This was his first run with this lot—he had no prior clue on their experience level—but they seemed okay enough. Just, well, not quite Vintar.

He dropped back down and rested his back against the crate, affording himself a brief pause to gauge how everyone else was doing in these few, fleeting moments. That’s when he saw her, his employer, and heard the frightened announcement. The sight and sound stretched his lips to a fang. The lightsabers. The lithe figure. That Dathomirian complex. Yeah, I’d bang her. He would. With a Sith on his side, or whatever she was, Vintar was sure to score a goal and show this piratical bunch what metal and mettle this mercenary was made of. The Twi’lek chick had just come back down, her gaze stolen as he gave her hip a pat.

“It’s the Sith!”

“And the Mandalorian!”

Vintar called out to his victims, springing back up with the Twi’ in tow for a surprise barrage of blaster bolts. The rotating fire of him then her had offered the resistance with a pattern to suspect and, unfortunately for them, they had not expected the unexpected. One of the defenders had trained his weapon on Vintar’s spot where he would emerge as soon as the Twi’lek had initially sunk back behind the crate, but it was her instant return, the pair’s combined gunfire and the bolts that came with that took him out before he could even squeeze a shot off. For his part, Vintar seized the moment to provide suppression on a particularly bothersome person holding out behind a wall and a crate of his own just beside it. His had mostly been blindfire, but with Vintar keeping him ducking, it would give any one of his teammates the opportunity of their own to move in closer while the rest of the team picked off more open targets.

The sound of blaster fire and screaming men rang loudly throughout the corridors. It was quite obvious the battle was on her side, and her intervention was not necessary but What the hell she thought, I haven't stretched my legs in a while thinking back to her last kill which occurred a little more than two weeks ago. She watched the Mandalorian announce himself loudly over the battle noise, this brought a smile to her face which was a rare occurrence, cute she thought.

As the crew and the new muscle were eliminating the opposition Kae'Tl began running, fast, toward them. Once she had reached a point less than five feet behind where the Twi'Lek and Vintar taking cover behind a large crate she launched herself into the air, so perfectly it had to be force assisted, landing near a frightened crewmen of the Oceanspray Freighter who quickly fell to the floor in several pieces after two blurs of red light ran through his body. Utilizing the Shien form Kae'Tl moved from location to location, usually by long elaborate jumps, dispatching several "enemies" with quick Juyo techniques, leaving her opponents in pieces. The crewmen she was cutting down obviously had little to no training, with the exception of a few who appeared to have some sort of organization, though nothing resembling any military experience.

Although the combat was quite easy Kae'Tl made sure to operate using some extra "flashy" moves to catch the attention of her newest associate. At one point she stole a quick glance back to see if he was paying attention and noticed that the crew was being lightly pinned down by blaster fire coming from an individual mostly covered by a section wall and an apparently well placed crate. Kae'Tl knew the vanguard would be able to handle themselves, but what sort of captain wouldn't lend a hand to her crew.

Kae'Tl quickly ran to the opposite side of the wall of the "bunkered" man and stabbed both lightsabers into the wall eviscerating the man behind the wall. "Eight" She called out loudly. This should help she thought looking back toward Vintar expecting a quick response from her crew and the Mandalorian.

The moment the blaster fire from the wall stopped Dax, The Basilisk, exited his position and moved into the freighter taking cover behind enemy lines all the while still laying down heavy fire into the enemy forces. Anna, The Mirialan, followed suit exiting the docking area and moving into a new position within the freighter dispatching several armed merchantmen along the way with very well place head shots, "Four!" "Five!" "Six!" she called as she leveled each one.

Sinya, the Twi'Lek, looked to the Mandalorian and said,"I'm with you" preparing to follow his next move.

As her victims were scissored apart, she had her audience. Vintar afforded himself a few beats to watch the captain long enough to make her movements out. Jedi, Sith, something in between, there was something about the way a Force-user moved that was utterly enthralling to the eyes, more so when it was a hot female. As a Mandalorian, Vintar could pull some moves and then some, but nothing like this captain could. Her call of “Eight!” had served another purpose of signaling to the rest of her crew that the corridor was now open for business. They all needed to head there in order to head throughout the ship, and that meddling defender had been expertly executed. Vintar was sure the di’kut had never seen the blade coming. Lightsabers. They are soldiers all on their own.

Sure enough, two out of the five-person boarding crew pressed forward, leaving the Dathomirian, the Twi’lek and the Mandalorian to move. The latter gave his current shooting partner a smile, and even though she couldn’t see it behind his helmet, he was certain she could feel it through his muffled voice as much as the be-sexing-you stroke against her cheek with gloved fingers.

“I’m with victory. Follow me.”

With that, Vintar stood up and, together with the Twi’lek, began advancing just behind the other two. Blaster bolts continued to sail, but the numbers of the comparatively few remaining defenders were drastically dwindling down. “Four!”, “Five!” and “Six!” were heard, but Vintar had a response of his own to give after one of his bolts drilled through a skull.

“Five!”

The Twi’lek chuckled beside him. She had caught on immediately. Vintar had, after all, slain more souls than five. Her gunfire took another out.

“Four!”

Her call, in turn, was detected in meaning. There were four enemies left, but a Mirialan’s call of “Three!” and a Basilisk’s call of “Two!” had reduced that number to two. Another voice called out, though Vintar couldn’t tell if it was the Mirialan’s again or everyone’s favorite Dathomirian. Either way, figures continued to plummet. As “One!” was called, Vintar and his Twi’lek friend had been facing the foot of the corridor, the Basilisk and the Mirialan flanking it. Vintar hadn’t paused. He advanced, passing the crate beside a wall with a hole in it where a lightsaber had punched through. He snapped his rifle rightward and pulled the trigger, three bolts flying into the chest of a sneaky son of a something who had since crawled behind the crate and had just attempted to pop up as though the element of surprise were growing from his head.

“Zero.”

Vintar called nonchalantly, ending the countdown while continuing his journey, maintaining his role of squad leader as he drove the assault forward from the front. He had no complaints. The captain had certainly proven her fearlessness and her combat prowess that went with, but she needed a Mandalorian to streamline the raid. And to serve as battering ram, of course. Still, he couldn’t complain. He was used to being shot at and, so far, he hadn’t been shot. One way or the other, he was coming out of this raid alive, paid with credits and loaded with his share of the loot to boot. And with some fine piece of Twi’lek booty if Vintar Hayec has anything to say about it.

The hallway curved ahead, leading into the main parts of the freighter. Vintar was familiar with this freighter's common design, though he was unable to remember whether he actually checked the map or not for any modifications, but that was ultimately some other person’s role. “Just point your finger in the right direction and I’ll point my muzzle in said direction”, he had told the captain when his excellent services were first being hired. He was not getting paid to navigate so much as annihilate. Rounding the corridor, he stopped short, a moment of awkward silence ensuing.

“Um.” Vintar cleared his throat. “Recount from one.” He aimed his rifle at the Ocean-something crewmate who just stood there holding a pistol by his waist with the muzzle pointed at the floor for some retarded reason and his hands trembling.

“One.” Vintar pulled his hand back on his rifle, causing it to click.

“WAIT WAIT WAIT DON’T SHOOT”

The terrified crewmate raised his hands frantically in the air, though he hadn’t let go of his pistol. Instead, Vintar noted, he was clutching it for dear life.

“Shoot him.” The Basilisk called beside him.

“Hmm.” Conundrum.

“I’ll shoot him.”

The Twi’lek spoke at Vintar’s other side, stepping forward and wasting no moment to raise her own rifle toward the di’kut’s face. Vintar placed his barrel upon hers, gently pushing it down, ignoring any perplexed look she might have given him. In a moment, he stepped forward, slowly, the T-shape that made his visor surely intimidating along with his slow approach. The man gulped, just then moving to take a step back, but Vintar’s free hand seized him by the shirt and yanked him forward so that his face was just in front of that menacing visor.

“Take me to your leader.”

The dust had just settled and Kae'Tl had re holstered her sabers, looking around with slight interest in the crates.

“WAIT WAIT WAIT DON’T SHOOT”

She heard coming from a missed crewmen. Sinya and the Mandalorian approached the man. Sinya, with her rifle raised ready to kill this last man when Vintar had stopped her. Kae'Tl allowed the scene to unfold, worrying only slightly for her crew and family. Then suddenly Vintar’s free hand seized him by the shirt and yanked him forward bringing them face to face, and said,"Take me to your leader." Kae'Tl let out a small laugh under her breath and heard Dax, the Basilisk let out a quite audible laugh. He actually said that? she thought to herself.

Then Kae'Tl snapped her quickly and the blaster pistol held by the Oceanspray crewmen flew out of his hand and across the room. He forgot to disarm him! she thought, what was he thinking? wondering if he had done it on purpose for some reason.

looking around at the crates some of them damaged Kae'Tl let out a loud,"What the Fhtagn!" noticing a small crate whose contents were leaking out onto the floor. The crate was labeled in small black letters Gumbah pudding Kae'Tl's favorite treat. "This is an outrage!" she cried, as if having lost a love one. Kae'Tl began waking quickly and angrily toward the crewmen being held off the ground by Vintar. "You had better have more!"

"Captain" Sinya called already stacked up on a door. As the crew's primary ground force tactician and assault unit she was familiar with the ships layout and standard blueprints. "This leads to the Ob' Deck" she said, hoping to distract her captain from the loss of the Gumbah pudding.

It worked.

"Very well... Vintar are we taking your new friend with us?" she asked, surprised to see he was still holding the crewmen off the ground with one hand.

The rest of the crew prepared for entry into the corridors that would lead directly to the observation deck of the freighter after only a few turns and opened doors. Kae'Tl allowed the crew to make the entry, she would follow them shortly she had decided. But first she must check this crate to see if any of the pudding would be salvageable.

"We're ready for entry on your count, Vintar.." Sinya the Twi'lek called.

Vintar turned his head left, turned it right, then straightened his visual alignment with the di’kut grasped by his hand. He couldn’t figure it out. What in the crap was so kriffing funny? Was it something he had said? What was so unusual about requesting (demanding, in his case) to be taken to the leader of a ship’s vessel, also known as its captain? The joke—and this wasn’t unusual, unfortunately—flew right over Vintar’s head. He thought little more of it and had less time to once his own captain suddenly whipped away the pistol from the trembling man’s hand. Vintar watched it fly but thought little more of it and had less time to once his own captain suddenly exclaimed. I can’t recall that swear word. I can grasp it, though.

He didn’t immediately follow the commotion, instead keeping his visor-gaze level with the puny form before him, watching grease pellets sweat out of the di’kut’s skin. What a pansy. He might have held him up in the air till his own arm would begin trembling from the weight, just to study such a sorry specimen. What is an outrage? More of what? Vintar finally stole a look behind him after the captain waltzed up and threw her verbal load on the opposing crewmate. He saw a crate and its spilled liquid-something, finally spotting “Gumbah pudding”. Its taste began racing through his mind but the closest he came to was chocolate. He couldn’t recall ever actually trying the dessert.

“I…I…I…”

It was all the crewmate could say as his eyes spun around looking for an answer. Vintar couldn’t blame him. His handler was, of course, none other than a fully suited Mandalorian in a helmet and so, then, was otherwise a soulless killer. Vintar liked to think he played the part well. As the Twi’lek beckoned for her leader and relayed her finds, Vintar pursed his lips. Observation Deck? Really? At the Dathomirian’s question, he blinked, released his grip and let the sack of meat drop to the ground with a girly gasp as he sunk to his knees to catch his breath. Why he did that was any Mandalorian’s guess. Ignoring him, Vintar turned to the captain.

“Yeah, I reckon I am.”

He casually turned his head to take a look at the man hunched over behind him. If he had another gun or a knife, now would be the time to use it, but Vintar just turned his head forward again anyway.

“My friend might be useful.” He looked from fellow crewmember to fellow crewmember, sizing up their stances and intentions before settling his gaze on the Dath. “We should first take care of this ship’s captain, captain. Unless we already nailed him—and I didn’t see any captain’s corpse back there—he could be calling for backup as I speak. My friend here,” He jabbed a boot into the man’s thigh, producing a squeak of pain. “Well, he can be our guide, our shield, our bait, and our ticket to said captain. Right, friend?” Another boot, another squeak.

“And what if he’s not useful?” asked the Basilisk.

“Then I’ll put a bolt in his kneecap and make him useful.”

The Basilisk just shook his head. “Then we’ll have to drag around a cripple. That will only slow us down. Not very useful.”

And you’re not very smart”, Vintar might have read on the speaker’s face. He rolled his eyes. “Well, then I guess I’ll just have to start clipping his fingers one after the other. He won’t need those. Will you, friend?” When he looked down at his friend, the man gulped and looked from one killer to the other, mortified. “Don’t answer that. Just get on your feet.”

When the man didn’t budge, Vintar seized him beneath his armpit and jerked him upright. “Turn around then, you sorry, silly, slimy son of a slug.” He reached for his belt and retrieved a pair of handcuffs, slapping them onto the man’s wrists once his arms were behind his back. “Right, then. Time to mosey.”

With that, Vintar turned himself and his friend around to face the rest of the crew. My count. My move. My reward. “On the count of five. One . . . ”

Vintar looked at the Twi’lek.

“ . . . Two . . . ”

He looked at the Basilisk.

“ . . . Three . . . ”

He looked at the Mirialan.

“ . . . Three and a half—”

“OH for kriffsake let’s GO.” The Basilisk interjected.

Not a team player, this one. Vintar sighed. “Fine.” He ended up following behind the impatient Basilisk this time around, though that didn’t faze him much. He didn’t always have to take the forefront, particularly with the Twi’lek helping navigate now alongside the captured crewmate. Rifle out, Vintar’s friend was in front of him, the chain connecting his cuffs grasped by Vintar’s free, left hand. Onward, the crew marched, with or without their captain.

The Twi'Lek and the Mirialn cleared corners and empty rooms expertly, they'd gotten used to the process and it has become almost muscle memory, fortunately not a soul occupied any of the empty rooms giving the crew a moment to breathe between battles. The rooms were cleared found to be empty of people but full of moderately important resources of the mundane sort. The crew moved like a perfectly unison bunch of shadows down the corridors, quiet and fast, with the captain walking slowly behind them taking up the flank.

"Captain, this door leads to the Ob' Deck. It's sealed from the other side, should we use blast charges?" Sinya whispered into the portable party line comm link. "Authorized take it out." before the captain responded she had already began unloading the charges from her pack and started attaching them to the door. (To Vintar) "You might wanna take cover, sweetheart." she said with a wink. This was only a whisper because he was so close to her.

The crew was situated approximately 20 feet from the door as the Twi'Lek began the count down quietly over the comm link.
"
Goin' live fire in 10..."
Kae'Tl had began looking over the empty rooms and started noticing a trend in the functionality of each room.
"
9...."
Kae'Tl had seen this before.
"
8... 7..."
Even though there were many crates in the hull full of valuable goods, that wasn't the only cargo they had been transporting.
"
6... 5..."
There were ring hooks on the walls made of a durable metal and bolted to the walls.
"
4..."
Small blankets were strewn around the floor below the hooks, there were other objects among them. Kae'Tl moved the blanket to get a better look.
"
3... 2..."
Toys!? these bastards! Kae'Tl's voice came over the comms,"No Fhtagn survivors!" her voice laden with a serious anger that made the crew jerk a bit as if being yelled at by an angry parent.
"
1..."

“You’re lucky, Mando. If the captain hadn’t disarmed your friend back there, you might just be a dead buckethead, heh.”

Dead buckethead? What is it with all the Mando hate in this galaxy? And why is my captive my friend so much? When did that happen? Vintar shrugged. The Basilisk had made it pretty clear that he wasn’t terribly fond of the Mandalorian, but that Mandalorian wasn’t terribly fond of anyone in this ragtag outfit. He was primarily fond of just getting the job done, getting paid for it and going home. Wherever home is.

“He wasn’t going to shoot me. It was tempting for both of us to pull the trigger, but only one of us was faced with a repercussion. He was too scared, see.” It had only taken Vintar to twist a knuckle into the captive’s back just then for him to tense up and squeal. “See? Even with his little peashooter, he was terrified of me. I let him know why.”

The Basilisk made a snort of some sort. Whatever its actual meaning, Vintar let himself believe that it was an impressed chuckle. I’d be impressed too. I am, after all, Vintar Kriffing Hayec. The two (three, when counting Vintar’s friend) had afforded this amiable freedom, their leisurely walk, thanks to the room-clearing efforts of the Twi’lek and the Mirialan. Badasses, these two chicks. I’ll give ‘em that. Truth was, he’d give them a whole lot more and make them make sounds not terribly dissimilar from his friend’s. Except they’d love me for it. He doubted his friend loved him. His manacled hands didn’t.

“Uh, yeah, use blast charges.”

Vintar whispered back as the Twi’ brought up the Observation Deck door. His vocal efforts were in vain, going unheard and ignored, contrary to the captain’s input. It seemed like a no-brainer but, then, he was in the presence of authority that went one way and probably always did judging by how this lot responded in awe when in the presence of their saber-swinging captain. She was hot, and she knew how to swing a saber, but Vintar couldn’t imagine taking orders from her for the rest of his profiting career. Not any moment longer than necessary, nope. Unless they happened to find themselves stranded in this ship’s captain’s quarters at some point, and a depressingly empty bed. He’d let her command him all she wanted at that point.

“Huh?” Vintar had barely remembered to keep his tone at an authorized whisper level when the Twi’ winked her words at him. “Oh, yeah, ‘course.” He cleared his throat. “All right, friend. Step back but stay in front. If shrapnel comes flying toward us, well, it’s gonna come flying toward you first…” At that, Vintar laughed inside his head. He didn’t want to make the captive feel too bad. The di’kut was sweating profusely enough already. “I’m just kidding... Come on, come on... Behind the wall, you sack of Mynock droppings, you.”

10. 9. 8. 7. He counted down in and out of sequence with the Twi’, his timing not precise but suitable for passing the time. He sniffed on “3” and two seconds later heard an explosion over the comm that was neither a bomb nor was it a whisper. How very un-captain of you to break your own quiet rule, captain. The Dath’s sudden call had seemed to delay the detonation by a couple of seconds more, and then everything went boom.

The heavy metal door leading directly to the observation deck blew open in a large fiery explosion that sent metallic shrapnel shooting in all directions. Immediately blaster fire came pouring out of observation deck from behind the smoke and debris, visibility was low for the moment and it was impossible to tell how many hostiles were on the other side of the opaque screen caused by the explosion. "Check your fire we have friendlies on board! Target acquisition and recognition is a priority." Kae'Tl's voice came over the comms.

Anna, The Miralan slipped on a piece of specialized heat sensing eye wear and fired two shots into the dust,"One down, I can only see three but there's more!"

Two concussive grenades were hurled into the unseen area and a moment later the Twi'Lek ran head first into the room followed closely by the Besalisk. Short burst of blaster fire roared loudly as the pair dispatched two more opponents before taking cover behind a large metallic device. Blaster fire followed them and began pelting the device pinning them in place,"we're pinned down here" she said firing several shots."Looks like maybe two dozen" Dax's deep voice growled across a moment after.
Two dozen? Seems like a lot.. Kae'Tl was still coming up from behind the crew and the carnage just came into view as she rounded another corner. Let's see how they do, She thought running to the entryway and taking cover behind a slab of, newly rigid, steel. "Vin" utilizing an on the spot nickname "Keep this one out of the fire." referring to the POW and soon to be torture victim. Oh he has manacles... That's...

"Captain!!" The Twi'lek's voice yelled over the comm. A man or woman, couldn't really tell through the Armor was running at the two pinned crew mates, covered by the fire of several out of view individuals, he was wielding a large Vibroblade and moving fast.

Blaster fire pelted the entryway to the Observation deck where Kae'Tl was standing. Great...

"Ready?" glancing over to Vintar before engaging both lightsabers and preparing to dash into the room to begin intercepting the cover fire.

Kae'Tl advanced from her location her lightsabers twirling in circles reflecting several of the blaster rounds back to their points of origin dropping a handful of men to the ground.

The man holding the vibroblade brought his arm up to begin swinging it at the pinned crew member, at this time Kae'Tl's lightsaber flourished separating the man's arm from the elbow down, causing him to swing only his now stub of an arm at the Twi'Lek before realizing what had happened to him, then clutching his arm and letting out a scream, Kae'Tl finished the man off with a quick slash above the shoulders. Blaster fire rang out from the Besilisk smashing more and more of the opposition to the ground, assisted with the blaster fire from the Mirilan and the Twi'Lek.

Eventually after only a few moments all the blaster fire had stopped, and only two men remained from the boarded ship, the original POW and one more who had surrendered.

Kae'Tl walked to the man,"Where are they?" Her lightsabers now laid in an X pattern in front of the man's neck.

"Th.... Th..... Th...." The man squealed.

"WHERE!?!?" She yelled at the stumbling man.

"There...." He said weakly pointing to a door.

The lightsabers crossed and the man's head fell to the ground.

She walked to the door, after opening it she discovered eleven children all huddling in a very small closet type room. "It's ok now.."

The children were escorted to the Alecto and all cargo was then unloaded from the Oceanspray to the Alecto.

After the Alecto detached from the Oceanspray The lasers warmed up and obliterated the freighter before the Alecto quickly went into hyperspace.
