Dice thread for Piracy in Miner's Space. I'll get it started with how many pirates there are in the base :)

The way that displays is inconvenient. The total is 30, unless I'm losing my touch.

Well, its a big... shit, that cant work and doesn't make sense. You cant put 30 people in a pirate ship. Unless it was a big pirate ship. Lets roll another dice.

Alright. 6 ships total. That means 5 pirates per ship; seems more reasonable if they're harassing small cargo ships. These are only the pirates at the base right now, keep in mind.

100: Critical success.
81-99: Rousing success. Everything goes better than expected
51-80: Success. Everything goes as planned
26-50: Barely a success. You succeed in your end goal but take some sort of negative in doing so
11-25: Mild fail, fail with some minor consequence
2-10: Major fail, fail with more serious consequence
1: Critical fail.


Rolling to see how effective the launching of the escape pod is. Higher the value the more damage it will do, and the more successful the explosion.

This roll is to see how many ships destroyed in the initial bomb. Gave a plus one for being a high success

Edit......ok that didn’t work. So I’ll switch it to a 1d6 and manually add the 1.

so 4 ships destroyed. Rolling a d10 to see how many pirates were killed in the initial explosion. Won’t take any pluses since it was just a success

32-7= 25 pirates remaining
6-4 = 2 ships survived though obviously in the aftermath of an explosion

Rolling to see how good Nothara is at drawing fire twards herself and away from the others. She's prepared to deflect it with her lightsaber, or should she fail, she'll create a barrier around herself.

Rolling a combination. This roll will represent Kodee’s piloting as well as the dangers involved. The higher the roll the better his piloting and the easier they avoid any anti-aircraft weaponry. Lower rolls will represent significant more damage and damage to the ship.
