Ownership: Ree.

Intent:
Personal use. Ree is a Chiss, and should have a Chiss-designed ship as a result. That, and I love the design of the Nsiss-class.

Model: Phalanx-class Clawcraft.

Name: When translated into basic; Csillan Spark.

Dimensions: Length: 7.65 Meters. Width: 3.2 Meters. Height: 6.25 meters.

Class: Starfighter.

Crew: 1 Pilot.

Complement: N/A.

Armament: The Phalanx-class Clawcraft, like it's Nsiss-class progenitor, carries four medium pulse-laser cannons mounted on each wing. The Phalanx-class also comes with a modular weapon mounting underneath the cockpit, which can carry a wide assortment of various weapons, such as a missile launcher, a laser turret, or an ion cannon.

Equipment: Twin military grade deflector shield generators, military grade sensor array, holographic targeting suite w/ helmet integration package, sensor decoy/chaff Launcher, advanced inertial dampeners, military grade navigation computer, advanced strike foil servo actuators, ablative armour, manouvering thrusters (x12), gyroscopic stabilizer, fusial engines.

Speed: 170 MGLT.

Hyperdrive Rating: .75 No backup.

Maneuverability: With decent deflector shields, thicker and ablative armour compared to the Dominator-class QIE on which the Phalanx-class is based, the Chiss designed fighter is slower and tougher, but with twelve different manouvering thrusters mounted on the cockpit and the wing joints, the Phalanx-class possesses exceptional maneuverability and is capable of pulling of break-neck acrobatics at the drop of a hat, letting it dodge in and out of danger with ease, and bring it's own potent weaponry to bear.

Description: Ever since the days of the Galactic Civil War the Chiss have had a reputation for stealing alien technology and improving it far beyond the original design. The Phalanx-class Clawcraft is the most recent iteration of this long and proud tradition. Based upon the Imperial Dominator-class QIE Space Superiority Fighter that has been in Imperial service for over twelve years, the Phalanx-class took the basic fighter model and removed the four fixed wings with their traditional ion engines, and replaced them with more powerful and reliable fusial engines. The fusial engines were required to power the ship after the Chiss installed two deflector shields and added thicker ablative armour to the cockpit. In classic Chiss pragmatism, the designers of the Phalanx-class ripped out the internal life support to save internal space. This however required the pilots to wear zero-G void-suits with their own life support modules to withstand the vacuum of space.
