((My bad, gang. But I posted, so we're good.))

Gavin swore under his breath. His blasters, as good as they were, had just simply absorbed into Evie’s armor. So, it seemed that blasters would do him no good after all. He holstered his blaster and took out his vibroknife. He was no good at close-quarters combat, and she clearly knew what she was doing. If he attacked her, she probably wouldn’t kill him, simply because she had taken all the effort into bringing him here. But, then again, she was clearly crazy, and he knew very well that one should never tempt crazy in a fight. Regardless, she was going to make him bleed. That much was obvious. The least he could do is at least try and put up a legitimate fight.

So, he exhaled and focused, preparing himself. Unfortunately, his concentration made him outwardly unaware of his surroundings for the time, and he forgot about potential traps. Or moving suits of armor. Before he knew it, his head was being clutched by a cold metal hand, to which Gavin flinched with surprise. More instinctively than consciously, Gavin’s grip on his knife became taut and he flailed his hand up, trying to swipe through the armor and cut off the hand that hand him so solidly.

Evie wore an expression of annoyance beneath her veil of armor. A crackle of exhalation broke from the speakers of her helmet as her husband made himself known, Ares Varga- an elder bounty hunter with a unique set of skills built upon countless scalps of criminals. He was an exterminator- one that specialized in a vermin of the more…sentiment sort.

Lo’ Love.” She said with a lackadaisical tone

Ares had been her trainer when she first joined the guild- he’d help hone her innate ability to ….hurt things. More importantly, He left her humiliated and humbled after their first clash- precisely what she had sought to accomplish with the Zeltron.

Approaching the wild arms of young Gavin she addressed the armored human.

Kitten finally flexed his claws-” she said nodding towards the rosy ward. The Zabrak was slightly bitter about the intrusion- Ares presence would only take away from her own. She bit her lip, expectantly- suddenly snapping her fingers with a realization.

"Of course," she said apologetic, yet snide, " Mr. Terrik, I don't belive you've met my Husband."

Gavin's blade struck true, cutting half-way through the flexible material holding between his armored plates. Instead of skin though, the knife clanked against a durasteel cybernetic wrist. The extent of Ares prostetic was beyond his hand and wrist unfortunatly, it extended all the way up to his shoulder. At first he thought the mechanical arm a weakness and a hinderance, but once he got to using it he found that it was much more powerful than his organic limbs.

The armored hunter didn't even flinch as the blade made its mark, he simply brought up the Zeltron to face level with his yellow cross-shaped visor while simultanious forcefully removing the knife from Gavin's hand. Ares stared at the recruit for a moment before speaking.

" Its not polite to act in such a hostile way towards a lady. Even more so seeing that its my wife........Now how bout you hand over your weapons to the lovely lady so we can continue your training?......Before I have to use force."

The BHG leaders voice was cold and metallic as it filtered out of his helmets exterior audio speakers. Ares had already decided to stay out of his wife's first official training run so she could get a proper hold on how it was done, if it had been anyone else he would have already taken charge of their current task in Gavin's training. He always enjoyed the combat portion of the learning process.

For the time being he ignored his wife, being that the recruit he held in his grasp needed a lesson in manners.

Kal Jericho, founder of the BHG and absent leader, walked slowly down the halls of his base. He sighed in content. He could remember all these cooridors so very well. He had designed and oversaw construction after all. There was nothing in the walls he didn't know. Unless Ares had authorized some changes in the time Kal had been gone. Fifteen years. Such a long time that he had fought his personal demons with the Shil'an monks. But now, he was back. He wore his brown and white robes from the monks and had the hood pulled up over his head. Casting his face into deep shadows. He still walked with a limp but the robe hid much of it. Hearing the sounds of combat and Ares unique metalic voice from one of the training rooms Kal walked to the door and keyed in his unique BHG leader code, the one only he knew, and would open any door on the base.

He walked into the room and simply stood in the doorway, viewing the scene before him.

Underneath his hood his heavily scarred face twitched into a smile, same old Ares, he noticed as he saw Ares with his hand grabbing some new recruits head. And was that Evie in the armor?

Evie’s head quickly turned at the sound of an open entrance, her patience wearing thin. Breaking the seal and pulling her long tresses free of her guard she scowled. Holding her helmet beneath her arm the Zabrak stared down the faceless figure who darkened her door way and marched forward.

“Excuse me! This is not a free for all!” she barked.

All of the intrusion had ruined her illusion of superiority and it left her enraged and embittered in front of her charge. She stopped just before the hooded figure and titled her head- her face smooth but her eyes narrowed and her lower lip jutted.

“How did you get inside without authorization?” She demanded.
