"...Da ****? I thought this was supposed to be a friendly meeting between you and me?" He looked inquisitively at the middle-aged human. And then at his two new friends, who looked quite menacing and distrustful. Of course, they were hired as protection and intimidation by the human.

“Well, Gavin, my dear boy, I believe that last time we met the meeting wasn’t so friendly…” Obviously, the human wanted Gavin’s guns. And, obviously, Gavin would die before giving them up. So, Gavin knew things were only going to get ugly, and it was only a matter of time before they shot him, so he decided to take the first initiative. He unclipped his gun holsters as the man continued talking. The two body guards saw his actions, and tensed, but as dumb as they were, they waited for the signal from their temporary master to begin making a mess out of Gavin.

“…Naturally, I’ve taken precautions to ensure nothing bad happens to you or me this t-“ With astounding speed, Gavin whipped his two blasters up, aiming to the left and right of the man, and fired, all within a second. The two guards dropped within the next second, with smoking holes where their frontal lobes used to be. He holstered both blasters soon after, before the man fully registered what had just happened. Gavin spoke up first.

“Listen, I know we may have some friction, since I’ve stolen a good amount from your shop, yeah. But these blasters are my most prized possession I have ever had. They are going to get me places. I love these babies. They ARE my babies. And, what would happen if I tried to steal your newborn babies by force? Wouldn’t you fight back? Yeah.” Gavin turned on his heels and ran off.

As he ran, he heard the distraught screaming of the human he had duped time after time. “BUT YOU STOLE THOSE BABIES FROM ME, ASSHOLE!” Gavin let loose a toothy grin as he heard that, running to the populated space port. He had a date to catch, after all.

Well, not exactly a date, but an interview, more like it. All he wanted was to get out of the god damn slums, and he overheard talk of a guild for people like him: skilled at not getting killed, fairly low moral values, and can uphold a contract. Not all that hard, he figured. And it sounded like good money, which was the best part. Naturally, he inquired further, talked to some people, and before he knew it, he had a meeting place for this bounty hunters guild. He would be a bounty hunter...kind of badass, he thought hopefully.

So, he continued running and stopped when he got to the space port. Crowded. He didn't really even know what he was looking for. He figured that he would meet a burly man who would say very little and expect a lot out of him. Which, was a little shitty, but nothing he couldn't handle. He began to try and look around, but couldn't find much. Hopefully the contact for the guild would be able to find him.

((Sorry, my bad. I added some shit...better?))

Coruscant’s space port was full of scum, the kind she disposed of on a daily basis and as the Zabrak passed each potential target she fantasized of their disposal.

“A snap of the neck…”

Stasha Evie was looking for one in particular, a young Zeltron, a new sort of target…

A Trainee.

It would be her first time acting as a mentor for a novice hunter and she was both pleased and reluctant.

A twist of the wrist…”

Evie demanded potential. she refused to mold any run of the mill civilian without what she deemed fit to be the makings of a skilled hunter.

A slash at the tendon…”

Curvy and cruel of beauty she stepped through the throngs with a smirk lighting her plump lips. Her face was youthful and fair with pale skin like smooth ivory and narrow sinister eyes of rich gold. Her hair was tied back decoratively, smooth against her spiked scalp and thick with the lacquer of lush mahogany.

Strike to the jaw- smash like glass…”

Her pointed toed boots clacked rhythmically and she shot generous glances at those who admired her second skin, a black body suite of latex and Rancor hide.

A kick to the gullet.”

She stopped near the back of the port and scanned the surroundings like molten bullion radar. Her rifle hung holstered at her hip.

She bathed in nostalgia a moment. Her training had been the most important moment of her young life. All the bloodshed, the challenge- it had given her purpose, a skill- It even gave her a husband- though she hadn’t known that at the time. She laughed to herself as she relived she and her beloved Ares’ first meeting.

A bit of ruckus in the distance brought her back to reality and she put a hand on her hip pouting as a Zeltron loudly announced his arrival with a cruse. She let out one note of laughter through her nose and shook her head.

“of course…”

She knew instantly he was the one she was set to meet.

It was just her luck.

He made his way to the back of the port, looking around for any hint of bounty hunting. At first, he began to doubt this guild's existance. Perhaps the guys at the bar were lying to him, turning him into a fool. But that was extremely unlikely. Not many people lied to him. Or, rather, could lie to him. He could detect lies fairly easily, and get people to tell the truth without much effort as well. Being a Zeltron had a lot of positives and not much negatives, except the general belief that all they did was party and fornicate, if they weren't doing something else illegal. But he didn't much mind the stereotype; a lot of people underestimated his abilities. But, then again, he did love to party and fornicate...but he wouldn't let his mind wander now. He had someone to find. Although, that turned out to solve itself.

Without a second glance, he knew who his trainer would be.

"...Holy shit." He said, his mouth agape. He stepped closer to the women. Older...probably about middle aged. But definitely dangerous. Definitely. Still, he couldn't let an outfit like that just slip out of his mind. Ultimately, probably a bad idea to say something, he knew, but he just couldn't resist.

"You ever get chaffage in that hot suit of yours, or does it feel almost as smooth as it looks? I mean, damn." He whistled, then his lopsided smirk perked up, along with his natural pheromone manipulation. If he wasn't red already, his blushing would turn him that color.

Evie crossed her arms and titled her head with a smirk,

“Mr. Terrik,” I presume she said dryly. Calling such a boy by a senior title made her mouth bitter.

She flipped a lock of hair over her shoulder at his cat call and looked amused.

There were three things she favored in the galaxy : Men, Guns …and sweet foods.

She was pleased he at least had a nice face to look at - better then some pouty pink female who stunk of-

The Zabrak clapped a hand over her nose.

“ooh….” She groaned.

“That stench!”

Her delicate stomach turned as the distinctive musky, mulberry smell of pheromones clouded her acute sinuses. The huntress’ eyes watered and the threw out her hand for distance.

When she regained her poise and took a final sniff with disgust she looked at him from the corner of her eyes.

“Let’s get a move on…” she snarled, looking embittered and ailing, she walked on expecting him to follow. They approached a private ship and she stepped inside. Patting the seat next to her. Every window was mirrored and impossible to see through.

“Please excuse me.” she said, leaning away from the Zeltron,

“Space travel makes me ill.” She tapped on the captain’s window separation,

“The Jericho.” She demanded, reclining with her legs crossed.

Clearly, she was happily married, or found the love of her life. Very few could resist the emotions his pheromones gave, unless they had become accustomed and solely attracted to another's. Well, at least sexual tension would not be an issue between the two of them. Which was good. Less distractions, he told himself. He would need to remember to control his emotions, especially his...sexual emotions. They were not welcomed by his new trainer, and he didn't want to piss her off.

"The Jericho...your Guild's secret hideout? What exactly is happening now? I wasn't given an instruction pamphlet and must have missed the last community meeting..." He sat rigid, waiting for something to happen. Everything seemed a little lax for a Bounty Hunting Guild, he though. He looked into the eyes of the women, and smiled. "And, what's your name? Who are you?"

“Stasha Evie.” Replied the huntress, scanning the boy up and down.

“Evie will suffice.” she added.

She brought a hand to her chin and gazed at her reflection lost in thought. Her methods had been deemed too…vicious? No that was an ugly word. Her methods had been deemed too…unconventional for her to take a trainee in the past- so she was relishing in her superiority.

So long as the Zeltron didn’t become a pain in the posterior-ity…

“You want to join the ranks of bounty hunters yes?” she purred, her full lips parting.

“You’ll be taken to guild headquarters and put through a few trails…To test your worth.”

She brought up a holo pad and quickly read it over looking bored - the last few glances however dressed her face with an impsh expression.

“I have a few questions before we arrive.” She said, her tone soft and slow.

“it’s a standard procedure.” She flashed sharp white canines beneath her lips and began.

"If you were on a hunt, and a fellow guild member called for your aid- Would you assist them? Or would you finish your hunt first?" she asked, holding the pad up like a concealed royal flush in a card game.

The Zeltron smirked. A few questions? And then some trials? This process of initiation would take some time.

He pondered the question. It was ridiculously general.

"Well," He began, looking up in thought. "It depends upon what you mean by 'call for aid'. If some dick wants me to help clean out his ship while I'm feet away from a large bounty: hell no I won't come to his aid. Now if he's bleeding and dying 10 clicks from my position, I'll toss a tracker on that bounty and fetch him the second I pick up that guild member get him help. It's all about situations, to me. I won't just leave someone to rot and get eaten. But I'm not going to loose a bounty for some jackass who doesn't know how to pop a dislocated shoulder back into place."

He finished, and looked back into the eyes of his trainer, Evie. "Well, Evie, that's my answer." He liked that name. It didn't fit her at all. Evie was nice, quaint name. She was neither.

Evie grinned.

Any other would scold the Zeltron and tell him no matter what the reason, if a fellow guild member called for aid you must come to it.

Her beliefs however were close to his own. She cleared her throat and moved on.

"If a fellow guild member killed without a bounty or did something else heinous, would you kill them?" She asked.

It was prohibited to kill targets - a last resort- but killing within the guild was a whole other ball game, one punishable, Just as placing bounties on fellow members was not allowed- thought the Zabrak thought of that aspect as more of a perk. She had in fact killed targets in the past but she would never settle a score with a comrade through bloodshed.

She uncrossed her legs only to switch positions and await his answer.

Gavin snorted. He thought these questions were a little ridiculous.

"Seriously? No, of course not. Why kill someone whose on your side, regardless of what they do. I'm joining a Bounty Hunter's Guild. There are going to be some undesirable and flat out bat-shit-crazy people I work with. But, to tell you the truth, I'd almost feel safer with someone whose methods are controversial. If you are in a guild which specializes in ruining lives, revenge, and other morally corrupt activities, I'm going to assume that there are people who do especially heinous things." He leaned back into his chair and propped his leg onto his other knee. Then he thought about it, and summarized his thoughts:

"Oh, but if they do something terrible against me, I'll ****ing kill them. If they come at me seriously, I'll take out one of their kidneys and leave them on Tatooine on a town with no space port but a single cantina. I'm not their Mom, so I won't spank them for killing a civilian, but if they are competent at what they do, hell, I'm not about to kill a partner and make my life that much harder."

He raised his eyebrows and reclined further, trying to get comfortable in the very awkward setting they were in. Especially her latex. What was up with that? Gavin shook that thought out of his mind quick, and waited for the next question with slight impatience.

“Bounty hunting is not revenge driven.” Evie stated dryly.

“And no one makes a living off ‘ruining’ Lives. That sort of thinking is for villains in stories. We keep the scum off the streets-either by disposing of them or…“ she added, zipping up her suite up past her collar bone,

‘Picking them up like I just did ‘ she mentally finished.

She exhaled and continued.

“We’re bounty hunters not mercenaries. Have some class.”

She let her eyes hold him a moment and began again:

“if-”

The ship came to a halt.

She silently turned from her charge and pulled a pocket mirror from her holster, looking over herself and shutting it after she was satisfied.

The driver opened the door and let the Zabrak exit. Evie stepped out and waited for the Zeltron to do the same.

“well there’s a first time for everything!” She said, clapping her hands together and moving on- she was referring to her motion sickness. The ride seemed smoother when she was blinded to outside space.

They had landed within the heart of the Jericho’s hanger, a massive freighter home to many hunters and what many considered to be headquarters- its high arcs and many wings spreading on into the vast distance.

“Shall we then?” she asked, cocking an eyebrow.

She was growing ancy- eager to test his skills. He would need to prove himself, Stasha considered his results a testament to her own experience. She would give him what he needed- but it was his own molding that would determine whether he could utilized them properly.

A hatch popped open and he heard the hydrolic system of a door squeak to life. More artificial light peaked through into their square hold they were in for the duration of the flight. Gavin stepped out, following Evie, and immediately recognized his new surroundings, to a degree.

"So Jericho's a frigate..." It was obvious from the size of the hanger. Not big enough for a cruiser, but far bigger than any patrol craft. To be honest, Gavin had never actually been on a frigate, since they were almost always used for military purposes, and he had never had anything to do with the military. The air was stale, and he didn't really like being enclosed in a metal ship, but he soon realized it wasn't entirely different from being on a metal city-world.

When his trainer turned back and asked him, he could only smile with equal anticipation. He didn't come for questions, after all, and wanted to get the 'initiation process' out of the way. Although, he was curious to see what this latex-clad Zabrek would do to him...she definitely had something slightly twisted on her mind, which deep inside disturbed the Zeltron. He hoped he would have to loose any limbs or large chunks of his body to get into the guild.

"Well. I was born ready. So let's get on with it."

“Good.” Evie replied.

“I despise anything pre-me.”

She stepped lightly down the corridor and its many twist and turns, acknowledging greetings with a nod of the head and a grin.

She opened a door at the end of the hall and motioned for him to enter first.

“After you.” She said, licking her lips.

The room set before him was large and circular- appearing more stone like then artificial. Its ceilings were high and raised to a dome held by the support of large pillars. The perimeter was surrounded by statures- suites of armor standing dominant and imposing.

Evie slide through the door, shutting it behind her. She reached to the nearest decoration, borrowing it’s helmet- one far different from the rest. It had a metallic red shine on its black surface and lacked a visor- instead having protective eye coverings, narrow and mirrored. There was a split where the mouth should have been with filters along the under chin, giving it a grim smiley- look.

"NAhahahahhahhhehehehe...."

She slipped it over her head and let out a pearl of crackling metallic laughter.

Do you have any weapons?” she asked, securing her suite up her neck so that not a inch of pale flesh was visible.

Unbeknownst to the recruit and possibly Stasha. The second of command and current leader of the BHG was in the arena with them, at least until Kal got back from were ever he disappeared to. Ares had caught wind of his wife's first offical training exercise, and wanted to throw a hydro spanner into her plans. He stood as one of the suits of armor that lined the arena, completely indistinguishable from the others. Ares looked nothing more than a decoration, and wanted it to stay that way until the time was right.

Being that his suit as air tight, and that his exterior mic's were off. Ares could do some of his less important duties while he waited, the need to be present in the guild never stopped. The bounty hunter raised an eyebrow when Stasha put a helmet on. " First time for everything I guess...." He said absent mindedly to himself. Ares knew they wouldnt be able to hear him, he could yell at the top of his lungs and not even disturb them.

Okay, what the hell was going on? This type of room was not supposed to be in a military frigate...or so he thought. Clearly, this ship was heavily modified, and he could only assume that this was the training room for their operations. It probably was filled with traps, he assumed.

"This room is sketchy. And it smells stale and metallic..." He said as he entered, and Evie closed off the one way of escaping from this area. He had thought himself uneasy when she closed the door, but that was only the start of it. It got weirder when she put on an decorative mask, and still weirder with her cackling laugh.

"I have two blasters I just got. And a vibroknife. I'm no good with the knife, though. That's more for looks and intimidation. Also, you look like a Mandalorian that decided his life goal was to be a clown, instead. What are you doing?" He asked, then paused, and refined his question. "What are we doing?"

It ain’t the room that smells that way, darling.” Evie said, moving to the center and folding her arms behind her back.

You just a got a whiff of Zeltron nerves.”

Two panels at each of her side opened and a weapons rack rose. She gestured towards the various guns and blades:

choose wisely.” She said with finality.

A small light flickered on each stand, he had limited time to choose.

The huntress raised her hands as if she’d finished applause and turned them towards her chest.

Your opponent will be me.”

She licked her lips beneath the filtered visage.

((I am going to assume he still has his sidearms. Otherwise, tell me.))

So, it was a fight she wanted. He looked around the room, and it clicked. This was an arena. If only he realized that before, he would have planned his attack out better. These were not ideal circumstances, however, he would have to make due. There was no cover anywhere except the bodies of armor. For all he knew, they were temporarily deactivated droids, or even humans, but that was his only choice of cover, so he sighed and decided with an internal grimmace.

"If it's a choice, I'd rather stick with that I know is not rigged or faulty." He unholstered his two blasters, and turned off the saftey. He heard the whirl of the coolant system activate at the battery charged up in a soft, yet high-pitched whine. They were working flawlessly, which was his one reassuring thought in this situation.

He waited until she made her first move, shortly after he unholstered his weapons. He didn't even wait to see what she did, but he was a blur of motion as he broke his stance to race for one of the suits of arms. Halfway there, he dove and rolled to complete his maneuver, finishing his roll with one knee on the ground, and pressed up agsint the heavily armed legs of the burley armor he was at. Fortunately, for him, he chose a suit that was made for a beserker of some type, and had ample plating for his protect. Gavin was thin enough that the cover was suficient.

"This isn't quite my type of fight, but I'm not about to run away." He peaked his head just around the armor, and brought his blaster close to his chin, peering around for his increasingly phschotic trainer.

Evie stood completely still- then as she lifted her hand the Kiffar fled behind cover,

She sneezed.

Laughing hysterically at his over reaction she came closer and stood akimbo.

Oh- did I forget? I must relieve you of your weapons…” she said snidely.

She was itching for brutality, Adrenaline was steady pumping through her heart and her hands clenched. Nostalgia. Finally she was in power- able to inflict the embarrassment she experienced at the humbling defeat by her trained.

Gavin saw her laugh at his rookie move. Yes, it was rookie, but he was dealing with someone far more skilled than he. It was good to take over-precautions. But then she came closer, like he didn't even have any weapons, let alone blasters.

"...shit" he said under his breath. He was so conflicted. This trainer of his was giving off a killer vibe. No, worse. It was like she was completely ready to slaughter a small group of people. Even though he was normally in control of the emotions, this killer intent threw him off guard and his natural ability to sense the emotions of others amplified it to the point where he was psyching himself out.

He breathed in and held it, working up his courage, and set his guns to stun., completely ignoring her taunt to disarm him. She already said begin, so he needed to begin. Gavin didn't want to kill her, after all. That is, if he could hit her.

He balanced himself on the balls of his feet, with his legs crouched and his back balanced against the suit of armor. He closed his eyes, breathed out, and pivoted to the right. While pivoting, he spun 180 to meet eyes with his trainer for a fraction of a second before he pulled both triggers, which let out out two waves of blue from both barrels. Continuing his swift motions, he extended his right leg, tossing him into a barrel roll and into the cover of the next suit of armor, which he hugged with his back in the same position he was seconds ago, but on the suit now to his left.

Evie stayed where she was, the blast hit her head on in the gut and she titled her head as warmth resonated all throughout the Rancor hide of her suite.

She wagged her finger and offered words of wisdom taking the guarded stance of a ruthless hand to hand fighter.

This suite isn’t just expensive because of the designer label.” She said, “ A rancor gave its life for my fashion.” She stepped back, clicking her left heel and revealing a hidden blade from its toe. She did the same with the opposite and kicked up to catch a vibro razor blade in the air as it shot from her ankle holster, bringing her foot down and making a matching pair of sharp-steps.

"Mind your step." She hissed.

Disobeying a guild member when you were nothing but a recruit was a big no-no in Ares eyes. He had remained totally motionless throughout the entire speech from Stasha, and the light show from the trainee. Ares didnt just want to simply step of the pedistal he was on and shoot the zeltron, the armored man wanted to make a lasting impression.

The bounty hunter's wish was granted when the recruit dove from a different suit of armor and used Ares as cover. At first Ares did nothing, he was having trouble thinking of what to do to the zeltron, being that so many options were open to him. Making up his mind, Ares reached down to grab the top of the Zeltron's head with his cybernetic arm. The young recruit wouldnt suspect a decoration to attack him, and if Ares actually got ahold of Gavin; he would pick the trainee up by his head and have a word with him about how to properly treat a lady.
