Juno grumbled as she tumbled ontop of Chervil, then threw her weight behind the roll, bringing Chervil ontop of her. She then reeled her free hand to Chervil's chest and hit him with a burst of energy which would hopefully launch him across the room. Juno fluidly moved to her feet, and gently flicked her saber in her hand, holding it in a reverse position.

"Keep coming, Chervil..." she grinned, "You're doing well."

Across the room, Chervil regained his bearings and looked at the grinning Juno. His saber was directly behind her, a few feet away. Chervil outstretched his hand in a position that would easily catch the saber. He willed it to come him, his hand trembling slightly. From Juno's perspective, it may appeared as if he were trying to choke her, or perhaps her abdomen. It moved, furtively, a scant inch perhaps, but no more. Chervil grumbled.

"I -ah... seem to having some trouble."

Juno nodded to him, disengaging her saber and clipping it to her belt, "Sit where you are. Take your time. Focus."

Walking over towards Chervil, Juno began coaching him, "Alright, I want you to close your eyes, focus on the saber. Only the saber. Be aware of all it's details. It's length, mass, shape, how many smudges are on it. Once you feel that no one could possibly know the saber better than you, I want you to focus on it being in your hand."

She watched intently, curious to see what happened next.

Chervil was fuming on the inside. He had not meant to stop their sparring, merely to imply that he wished to regain his saber by hand. Nevertheless, he sat as Juno instructed. He was far too irate and jumpy to focus on such specificity however, and he felt that such an approach would do him no good. In his past experiences with the force, it was almost as if, instead of focusing on an object, that object got fuzzier. Frowning, Chervil instead only recalled the pain that the saber had inflicted upon his hand.

But such was enough; the memory of pain serving as a stimulus, of a representation of the bond between Chervil and his training saber. Angry, pointed eyes watched the saber, almost with scorn, as it slowly wafted back to its master, like a kath hound that knew it had just done something bad. The saber once more firmly in his hand, he stood.

"Let's get back to it, yeah?"

It was abundantly clear that Chervil was frustrated and increasingly agitated, bordering on true anger. When he requested to continue, Juno shook her head, "Not while you're angry, Chervil."

"To control yourself means to control your emotions. To understand them, their causes, their effects. Above all, to accept their existence in your life, and to move past and do your duty to the will of the Force," she eyed him off carefully, feeling his emotions tenderly. "I think we've had enough swordplay for now."

"I would agree that I am angry, but I feel like running away from my emotions to go and reflect on them... its just sort of coping out. Perhaps that is the wisest decision, but in real-life situations, one is unlikely to have the time to go and do something like that. When that happens, what you have to do is just persist through it. But as you say, we should stop. Perhaps we ought to go to the archives, as you suggested?"

"You are right in saying that in a true combat situation we cannot allow ourselves the time nessecary to meditate properly. However, with practice comes a technique called battle meditation, which allows you do remove yourself from the fight, in order to keep yourself focused and viewing the world with clarity," Juno nodded. "Part of what you will learn as a Padawan is that your anger is unjustified, and eventually you will come to believe that so strongly, that you will get angry so infrequently that you will be able to approach nearly any situation clearly."

She motioned for the slightly younger Jedi to come with her as she moved towards the door, "A good idea. I do have some things I need to do a small amount of research on anyway."

The pair walked the halls, and with each step Juno felt Chervil's anger fade away into the winds of the Force. The walk to the Archives was largely uneventful with the exception of a few of the younglings nearly bowling Juno over, to which she simply lifted a leg and stepped over the toddlers narrowly missing their heads. A smile appeared on her face as the children seemed completely unfazed by the near-accident they had just had. Juno was forced to chuckle, "Kids, eh?"

Anger is unjustified? Chervil didn't quite agree with the statement, and was so busy thinking about it that he did not notice a youngling narrowly miss Juno and instead crash right into his thigh. Unfazed, Chervil merely reached out a hand for the youth to pull himself off the ground with. He did so and summarily bowed deeply, blushing slightly. Chervil idly waved him away before he had a chance to apologize.

"Kids, yeah."
Chervil sighed exasperatedly. "So what are you researching? More stuff for your saber variants, I'd imagine."

"Along those lines," she nodded to the training saber Chervil had only acquired that day, "Each saber requires at least one crystal inside it. Now, for a while we've been forced to use synthetic crystals. They're alright by most standards but to make them effective, a Jedi has to meditate upon them for up to days at a time. I'm hoping to avoid this exercise and find some naturally occurring Force imbued crystals. Crystals like this tend to allow a Jedi to do easier tasks such as using force ignition switches, instead of buttons, using powers like force throw or lightsaber barrier. The crystal's connection with the force makes these things much easier."

The archives were a stunning part of the temple. Juno found it hard to keep her jaw from dropping each and every time she walked into the gaping, open planned room. The dimmer light, the soft blue glow from the consoles, and the fact that in these four walls the single most complete collection of information was held. Information tens of thousands of years old was held in these walls. Despite Juno having been a regular visitor to the Archives over the past ten years, nearly on a daily basis, she was never ceased to be amazed at no matter how much she studied in here, she would never be able to even make a small dent in the epic collection of knowledge.

"This place never gets old..."
