Just wanted to make this now, though hopefully we won't have to use it too much :)

Just with the messages now we have a couple of us saying curtain, and another couple saying door. For ease of not contradicting either of these I'm writing that there is a door to the private booth/room itself, and then a curtain round the seats.

Any objections hit me up before more posts and I'll edit accordingly, but thought I'd address this now and hopefully this way saves us the most edits :)

Okay I don’t like double-posting but I feel the need to do so right now. Nightfall I’m not so sure that your character can prevent the actions of mine like it was just written.

Because it seems like the fact he moved away from the minibar to a table in front of the cartel members and fired into the ceiling is being ignored. Also while Harlan could overshout Talos’ words but a person’s voice can’t be louder than the two blaster shots that would certainly set off panic.

Furthermore that series of actions is already locked in as acknowledged by the Jedi, Albert’s respond before yours.

If you had objections or concerns about I did with Talos you could’ve written so here on this OOC thread earlier.

Making a scene or causing an argument is not my intend but I feel the need to bring these points and raise questions so we can better understand each other and resolve the issue.

Yep, no stress, I didn't have any objections, I'll make some edits and tag ya, sorry about that!

Though I believe we would still be able to interrupt your actions, even if Albert has 'heard the commotion start inside' and decided to come in, and he waits by the door 'until the veterans left or in case someone moved to attack him'.

So yeah, I might not have interrupted them no, totally fair, but I believe we could interrupt them, right?

@Insalius I think you know the most about how that sort of thing works, just looking for clarification. And if I do need to make edits more than happy to!

Currently at work, but to be honest I'm not the best at PvP nor have I been in very many of them that didn't involve me bringing a Star Destroyer to a knife fight. This kind of issue hasn't come up forvme yet in a PvP so perhaps one of the more experienced PvPers should be asked. I can try to look at the rules when I get home, though.

From what I can get from the rules if we're assuming @Minuteman75 's post is the first pvp post, then we get into shared time, so we could interrupt your action, and then in @Insalius and yourself would respond to the interrupt next post. I realise my post doesn't interrupt in and of itself, that's all cool though :) Hopefully that makes sense?

To confirm:
We could interrupt your actions, you'd respond to the interrupts next post.
My post in itself didn't interrupt though :)

And don't stress! I'm more than happy to use this as learning for all of us, I've done very little pvp too haha

I’m confused so none of the actions that my char took after the NPC fell unconscious happened? Do I have to edit or something?

No no, you're all good @Minuteman75 :) My post didn't interrupt any of the actions of your old one, Harlan just tried to talk to you, though @Xorism could interrupt if he wanted to!

Does that make sense? Sorry, learning all these things myself too :)

I've posted my interrupt as we are in shared time -

My post takes this timeline into consideration:

1. Talos post states he walks to the minibar to investigate his friends drink
2. Talos speaks for approximately 5-8 seconds
3. Talos runs unspecified meters to flip a table and take cover
4. Talos fires his shots in the air

When merged with Victoria's timeline

1. Talos post states he walks to the minibar to investigate his friends drink
1. Victoria reacts with surprise at the fallen person and watches Talos walk toward the minibar
2. Talos speaks for approximately 5-8 seconds
2. Victoria steps back and pulls up her underslung weapon and fires by the end of his speech

~Interrupt in effect~

3. Talos runs unspecified meters to flip a table and take cover
4. Talos fires his shots in the air

Talos spoke for long enough with jittery cartel members while being openly armed and yelling accusations, so naturally he will be shot. Based on my interpretation Talos would be reacting from the interruption in his next post either taking the hit or avoiding it somehow.

You don't edit posts when an opponent interrupts, you respond to it in your next post. Besides, once the opposition posts, our older posts are locked in as having happened. They attempt to interrupt you, which is what they posted just now in this round, then in our upcoming posts we'll reply with how we deal with their attempt to interrupt, like either taking the hit or being able to dodge or whatever. The reaction to the interrupt just has to make sense is all.

Since this might come up as important pretty soon, can anyone make a little map of where everyone is? That way when I post, or anyone does in the future, we won't make any mistakes.
