(Yes, yes, I know, there are grammar and spelling errors in the first few entries of Parja’s Journal. It’s told from her perspective, this is her writing in her journal... Do you expect a little kid to have perfect grammar?)

Journal Entry 1, 1011 ABY: I just went on a run to go pick up a little girl from Empress Teta. She’s about four, and she will begin her training as a youngling immediately. I have high hopes for her, considering the fact that she seems to be strongly sensitive in the force. Now that we are back on the Temple in Coruscant, she is to meet with the council to discuss where exactly she will be placed within the Order. She’s too young to understand, but she will in due time know the ways of the Jedi.
Journal Entry 2, 1013 ABY: Parja has been taken from Tython to Coruscant along with a large group of younglings. They barely made it out before Tython was attacked, and I fear they won’t be so lucky once the Mandalorians and Imperium carve their way to Coruscant. It’s only a matter of time before the Jedi Order is once again left in ruins. If it were up to me, we would be abandoning Coruscant and heading South into the vaster regions of the Alliance, but that’s not a choice for me to make.
Journal Entry 3, 1013 ABY: Parja is with a group of Padawans and Younglings accompanied by a Jedi Master preparing to leave the Coruscanti system now, they’re in the hangar last I checked. The Sith will be arriving any moment, they should have been evacuated earlier. I just hope they make it out in time before the Sith arrive.

Journal Entry 1, 1015 ABY: He saved me He helped me out of the temple I was stuck on an engine but then the nice man helped me out hes my father now. he protects me. He leads a lot of people and some of them were scary at first but I like them all now. They help me become a warrior like them, and it is fun. My last name is now renelo and I am in they’r culture. I like it a lot. Apparently bad people took over my home it makes me sad
Journal Entry 2, 1015 ABY: I been here for a few months now its a lot of fun. i killed my first animal the other day, and it made sisk feel proud. Im glad he saved me. i dont know where eyed be without him. I want to be a big warrior like him some day when im older also! he is also teaching me his language as well as galactic standard
Journal Entry 4, 1016 ABY: I just recently turned 8. Sisk says Im growing up He says that one day I will be a great warrior like him. I guess i believe him. Every once and a while he will take me on hunts to go hunt wild beasts. But He says its the way of the warrior. He also has a wife or something. She’s okay, I guess I’m warming up to her there is just something about her that seems scary but shes teaching me how to use my special powers. i also have two baby brothers who im not related to but where bound by family
Journal Entry 11, 1019 ABY: I’ve become a stronger, harder person. I go on hunts a lot and I think they all respect me but I don’t know I guess its just hard being one of the youngest in a clan of warriors. I just have to find a way to prove my worth. In too years ill be taking some test to make me an adult I guess ill just have to see
Journal Entry 26, 1021 ABY: It’s hard to imagine that eight years ago I was just a little girl waiting to be rescued on Coruscant. I’ve always secretly wondered what would have been if Sisk never found me, and took me in to his society. What if the war never even occurred? I would be a Jedi right now, most likely an Apprentice, and that’s some crazy shit. Sisk doesn’t like it when I say bad words like that, so this is the only place I can really say it. Apparently he’s concerned as to where I’ve learned foul language like that, but I guess it’s hard not to when you live in a society of pure warriors. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve become more self-conscious about my robotic arm, but Sisk says it’s what makes me unique. I guess I believe him.
Journal Entry 27, 1021 ABY: I finally convinced Sisk to teach me the basics of school, like writing, reading, etc. He says that once I pass my test in a few weeks he’ll even start to teach me Mando’ade! I think that’s what it’s called, not sure, cant wait.
Journal Entry 29, 1021 ABY: Damn. I lost a couple of pounds. That was brutal. I lay here on my bed, dumbfounded at the thought of all that has happened to me in the past few days. I was left in the forests of an unexplored moon for 30 days, having to survive on my own, hunting, gathering various resources, finding safe sources of water. I didn’t expect it to be that difficult, though it was worth it. I am now considered an adult in Clan Renelo, and I plan to help this clan achieve victory. Sisk is going to be teaching me Mandalorian in a few weeks!
Journal Entry 74, 1023 ABY: We’ve taken a lot of hits in the past few years, now that I’ve realized it. We’ve lost over half of our men in this so called “Mandalorian Civil War.” I’ll be damned to the fact that we merely survived, let alone so many of us. I was too little to understand at the time, but now I know why we always stayed in one place- we were surrounded by either battalions of Mandalorians out to get us, or Sith making sure we never made it out of Mandlorian Space.
Journal Entry 84, 1023 ABY: I’ve never really touched back on the force since my years at the temple that I don’t even really remember. I can knock people around in the force, but not with any exceptional skills or anything. I never got to create a lightsaber, though maybe someday Sisk’s girlfriend will help me make one, after all, it’s what she carries around. It would look good with my Mando’ade Armor, real snazzy, real intimidating.
I don’t know where our fate lies, but it’s looking like dark times for us. Sisk’s been lookin’ stressed out a lot lately, and I’m beginning to worry. I’ve got my jobs to do in this clan now also, after all I’m not just a little kid anymore. I’m a Mandalorian.
