Paradigm Industries
Summary
Paradigm Industries is a multifaceted industrial corporation, owned by a diverse group of shareholders, the largest of which make up the board of twelve directors. They specialize in communications, infrastructure, logistics, and shipping, with smaller subsidiary companies that cover other interests. The current majority shareholders are the Kitras family.
The current headquarters of Paradigm is on Cantonica, with other holdings on Coruscant, Onderon, Mimban, Etti IV, Farana, and Eriadu. Paradigm is a member of the Corporate Sector Authority or CSA, with the Kitras family being substantial landowners and investors in CSA projects.
Chairman: Kozin Nas Kitras (Kiffar NPC). Patriachy of the Kitras family, Kozin sees creative pursuits or culture as a waste of time, and building the corporation as all that matters. Money talks. While outwardly he maintains the old company image. Old Nas as he's called behind his back, usually has an assistant represent him during negotiations or board meetings, where he often speaks via holoscreen.

OOC Intent: A plot generator, with different interests competing within it to generate stories and threads, or involve other players. A way to grow the Kitras and other characters' backstories. A way for me to add further substance to any Senate proposals or relevant votes, and CSA dealings. Finally, an umbrella to submit technology, lore, and NPCs in an organized form.
Founding History
Twelve generations of Kitras have enjoyed success as traders and industrialists. Starting as a small freighter captain, Vulven Kitras made his legacy with patience and a trading instinct, he was also a gambler but a clever one. Vulven and eventually his son Pethror would go weeks or months and do no trades at all, plotting, planning, and martialing their resources. Then when it was time, they would use them all without hesitation on the right trade. Not everything was a perfect success, but they mitigated their risks with preparation and patience well, focusing on studying a few lucrative trade routes, rather than many smaller ones.
It wasn't until a generation later, Alra Kitras decided she would start to invest in Land, which is often a good investment, especially good land nobody wants, littered with scrap metal or leftover parts from a more turbulent era. These planets before wars scarred the galaxy had trade routes, infrastructure, and supply chains, the population and plans to rebuild were all there, it just needed people to do it. So the Kitras used their generational wealth to start rebuilding the connections between worlds, they became the glue for some worlds. Paradigm meaning a framework was born, the name intended to define a new era of industrial cooperation.
Fast forward more generations, and the galaxy is not whole but it is functioning. The later generations of Kitras have become shareholders, land owners, and investors, leaving the day-to-day operations to the younger members of the family, and the many shareholders in Paradigm Industries. Selling shares in the company has led to different parties, with different opinions making their way into decision-making roles. There is now more internal friction within the company, but it still largely maintains its mandate to link industries together and foster greater universal connection, maintaining a tidy profit of course. That said, not all is as it appears below the surface, greed is a powerful motivator for the noblest of ideals.

- [Highly Classified] Eclipse Protocol — Off-the-books wetwork and undisclosed expensive projects. Every trace of this is buried. ●
