[Syn]

Matsu stood in the middle of the room as she looked around and waited, Adonia was going to join her as she placed her coat, hat and gloves in a container for safekeeping as she crouched down and set one foot forward spinning in a circle and closing her eyes she breathed in and out standing back up and made sure her boots, belt, tunic and lightsaber were secure as she made sure on a map of the temple that the path was clear and doors opened. She had healed the burns and now only red blemishes remained as Matsu centered herself and waited for Adonia to arrive to begin.

 

[Darius]

Adonia was finally fully healed, her ribs had taken a little longer the expected, but she would not miss this for the world, Matsu and Adonia have always been competitive with each other, Adonia especially liked training with her as she was the only person who did not openly try to hurt her. Making her way to the proper room she found her friend waiting for her. “Yeah I would stretch if I was you too.” Adonia joked as she dropped her robes and began to stretch herself, she then went into a few breathing exercises to clear her mind to make better use of the force. “So I got your map…An interesting route, did you pick it yourself?"

 

[Syn]

[okay I am going to write Matsu running through the course first and just follow or lead even with what I have.]

Matsu looked at Adonia and grinned a little as she spoke. "Yes it will be a little more fun when we get to the hanger and city." Slowly Matsu waited for Adonia to be ready as they began and Matsu ran out of the door and down the hall wall running and twisting in mid-air to avoid other jedi as she focused on the force and leapt and caught a window sill launching herself up and across from one tower to another as a large cargo ship began to pull out and she landed on it in a sprint going at an angle as she jumped again and entered a lower window as she tucked and rolled across the floor down a chute and slide to a lower floor coming out at a full sprint and bounding over a balcony in the main hall as she ran towards the doors and went up the arm of a staatue to avoid a crowd then jumped spinning and using a force push to cushion her landing on the temple walkway as she ran the straightway.

 

[Darius]

Adonia tightened her boots and belt one more time and set her body up to sprint. She darted off behind Matsu, she would give her some room at first as she was not as familiar with the route as Matsu was. Adonia twirled above one jade then dropped into a sliding split to past the next one. Coming to the window she launched herself out with enough force that she just made it past to low altitude transports that flew past she landed in roll in an upper window, this put her considerably higher that Matsu, a problem that would soon correct itself. She was now much too high to enter the Main Temple as Matsu did, but like her brother always told her, if you weren’t dead there was no problem.

Adonia landed on the top of the Temple running not too far behind Matsu in length, the girl was faster, that Adonia would admit openly, but she could not match Adonia in terms of dexterity and resourcefulness. One the last thirty feet of the roof Adonia used the force to speed herself up, jumping before she reached the edge her momentum stopped right past the front pillars, sending her into a swan dive onto the front walkway, even thought she used force push she would not survive the landing, so she grabbed the stone light saber, and swung around it to slow herself down, finally meeting the ground she found herself in a dead sprint with Matsu, “Thought you could get away from me that easy did you, those acid drops have gone to your brain.”

 

[Syn]

Matsu turned and looked at Adonia briefly as she grinned and at the end of the walkway jumped landing on a speeder as it went and jumping from it to a taxi and then another speeder before she leapt down onto a walkway and ran sliding under a speeder as it came down to park on her knees as she looked back upside down and when she cleared back-flipped into a running sprint as she jumped through an awning for a stall and rolled coming out at a balcony as she jumped into a swan dive and caught a pole flipping end over end until she let go and landed on a lower walkway and leapt backwards onto a wall and dropped to a ledge then jumped back and kept going down jumping with a final back-flip as she went through a partially broken ray shield that pulsed with barely a second and landed in a warehouse taking off in another sprint and used the force to push a box into a wall as she threw it up and jumped onto it then off to a high window spinning through the upper broken glass and sliding feet first across a passing speeders hood as she dropped into a street as she ran wall running over the crowds and jumping over barriers and quickly Matsu grinned as she jumped onto a pole and slid down kicking off and through a window into a sewerway under a dock.

 

[Darius]

Adonia chuckled a bit, she didn’t exactly expect Matsu to stop and have a conversation, but her exit was rather amusing. Adonia followed her lead off the ledge only she did not jump for the traffic passing from left to right; instead she aimed to his the lower level that was going in the same direction as Matsu, she fell through the traffic by the skin of her teeth, and landed on a large cargo freighter flying adjacent to Matsu ,. Adonia force jumped after she cleared the first building, she grabbed on to a speeder heading to the left, when she let go she dropped on next to Matsu on the next walkway. She followed Matsu as best she could down the wall and into the Ray shield, but at the last second she grabbed her knees and curled into a ball, this helped her clear the opening, but the shield catch her boot and sent her falling out of control. Adonia cleared her senses and was able to make the hard landing as soft as possible; she got to her feet and dashed past the civilians to catch up to Matsu.

Adonia nimbly leapt of a tower of boxes and exited the warehouse through an open window. She pushed of the edge of the roof with all her physical force which combined with her angle of decent allowing her to clear the speeder lane, she grabbed the pole and swung around to slow herself down, she then used the new momentum to s slingshot herself into a wall she bounced off of to the next, she did this several times, until she was over Matsu and the sewer opening, she would not follow, at least not yet, she had finally entered a area which she was familiar with, combined with the studying of Matsu’s map she knew exactly how to meet back up with her. Adonia stayed close to the street, it would be easier to trace the sewers this way, he landed on a land born truck and held on until it went the wrong way, she then jumped off and went back to the roof tops, it was here she picked up speed , clearing each building with a large leap. Following the manhole covers she reached the edge of this sector of the city which stops with an almost bottomless drop, and the opening to the sewers. Adonia grabbed onto the bottom of a speeder flying in the direction of the hanger. Matsu was right , it was about to get a lot more interesting, and ten times as dangerous .

 

[Syn]

Matsu ran down the path in the sewer and came to the window as she checked her times and jumped landing on a transport bound for the temple as it went up to where Adonia would be and Matsu crossed her arms looking at her and spoke through the force as she crouched down and grabbed a raised piece of plating. "Jump Adonia." Quickly the transport began its flight back as Matsu looked at her friend and grinned letting her hair blow in the breeze and as the transport flew over the temple Matsu jumped holding her arms out and turned over landing on a large cushion of force energy as she fell the one hundred meters from the top of the transport to the roof above the hanger with a grin pointing to where they had started. "Almost there, just one last leg." Quickly Matsu moved along the rooftop as she bounded over the raised stone on her hands pushing herself further and faster until she came to the room they started in and Matsu jumped grabbing the side of the window and swinging in as she skidded across the floor and rolled coming up in a crouch and popped her shoulders letting the door and windows close as her words came out. Well now that we have warmed up lets see your much your blade skill has improved."

 

[Darius]

Adonia let go swan diving once again twirling once, landing in a pang of the metal and a thud, she smiled at her friend for a moment but was soon interrupted by the movement of the transport, the force of the ships turn sent Adonia into a crouch. She jumped in unison with Matsu and landed on the roof, she looked to the window opening and listened to the mind of Matsu, “Not that it wasn’t fun, but I jumped off enough sky scrapers for today.” Adonia followed Matsu , flipping and somersaulting through some the random traffic around them. Grabbing on to another speeder Adonia braced herself for her last jump, as soon as it passed in front of the window Adonia pushed off and passed through into a roll skidding to a stop on the floor. Adonia rose her feet as Matsu Challenged her to a saber duel, “you’ve away from me too long my dear friend.” Adonia smiled as she gasped the curved hilt on her belt, pulling it off she ignited its yellow blade.

 

[Syn]

With a grin Matsu nodded her approval as she spoke and dimmed the light so their blades would light the room and slowly she circled taking off her tunic to show a sarashi wrap around her chest. "That was impressive, if anyone was watching we might have gotten some gawkers but this will be fun and no cheap shots like you received.... Deal?"

Matsu looked at Adonia and raised an eyebrow as she took her saber off and activated it with a snap hiss and the midnight blue blade came up as Matsu sped forward and twirled holding the blade with one hand and striking as she spun and jumped up into a double high kick into a front flip. "It has been some time my friend and we have both learned new things."

 

[Darius]

“I’m sure a couple of speeder pilots noticed, we weren’t exactly gentle in the whole affair.” Adonia smiled, and this would be the last time she would do so, sparring was serious, and she didn’t exactly enjoy, getting cut either. “Considering we both have real sabers I would recommend fair play.” Adonia threw off her robes to reveal her leather gray shirt and her new black leather corset which was outlined with blue, and patterns of her tribe, some of which could be found on her face, “My brother Gaius sent it to me, said it should help keep my ribs safe. “

Adonia was ready; she followed Matsu with her eyes as she spun in the air at the attack, the first and most lethal swing Adonis blocked high, the second one she spun out of way. This was not going to easy at all, Adonia had learned so much, but Matsu would always be her equal in speed. She trust her saber out in front of her in an attempt to get some distance, she did not need to be push into a wall or anything else, she then began her attack with a quick figure eight strike, she then used her momentum to jump over Matsu keep her blade close to her chest turning herself into a spinning buzzsaw until she land awaited Matsu’s next attack. “Fair doesn’t mean hold back Matsu…” This felt good to fight someone on her level, someone she could learn something from. Adonia crouched looking almost catlike, awaiting the next volley of blows.

 

[Syn]

Matsu moved her saber to block as she kept her face blank and as Adonia jumped above her Matsu ducked and came forward her body close to the ground as she crabbed walked at Adonia's legs and after five strikes went into a handstand flip bringing her left leg down and her right up in a bicycle kick as she slashed with her saber and in an overhead strike.

 

[Darius]

Adonia brought her legs up one by one blocking the attacks, on getting through her shell kicked out one of her knees, Adonia quickly got back to her feet, just in time to see Matsu’s foot coming to her face, she ducked under it, and then did a quick limbo under her saber slash. Adonia had little time to reset her body so she did what she could, kicking her left leg back she brought her body into a front flip bearing down on the shoulder of Matsu, landing in a kneeling position she swung her saber around her head slashing at her body, she then quickly backed up and went back into her defensive stance.

 

[Syn]

Matsu reeled to the left when her shoulder was hit and she brought her saber up to block as Matsu backed away and took off in a dash going to the edge of the room and with force speed running along the wall as she threw her saber at Adonia and lunged at her striking out with quick strike from her hands at nerves and slowly Matsu caught her saber as it rounded and she grinned spinning back around wih a slash and held the blade off to her side.

 

[Darius]

Adonia watched as Matsu ran on the wall, she was very impressed, it was not one of Matsu’s normal tricks; the Light saber beaming at her was new as well. Adonia jumped off her left foot to her right, leveling off in the air she watched Matsu’s light saber fly past her as she landed she took a blow of her neck, Adonia let out a grunt of pain, as she collapsed to the ground, and rolled out of hitting distance . As Adonia got to her knees, she noticed the blue glow of Matsu’s saber behind her, She got as low to the ground as possible and watched it fly over her head and return to her master, Adonia ran at Matsu trying to launch her attack while she was unset, walking into Matsu last slash she ducked under it and dashed to her left. She thrust at her head once and once again, she then turn slashing at her stomach, turning once more she ended with a thrust to Matsu’s midsection.

 

[Syn]

Matsu moved as she dodged the first strike and blocked the second moving back and jumping up as she kicked out into a split kick over the blade and when she landed Adonia's forth strike came as she blocked it and kept her blade touching Adonia's then quickly slid it down the length of her blade towards her elbow.

 

[Darius]

Adonia pushed Pushed Matsu away with the force, back-stepping she began to circle Matsu, it was clear that they both were fast, and if they kept fighting like this it would go on for hours. Adonia had to use her speed against her, Running at her Adonia jumped to the right then back to the left, this put her midair to Matsu's right, she swiped at her head in an attempt to make her duck forward, she let go a heavy slash across her body and the one more downward cut, if all went well Matsu would stumble back and be open for her next attack. Adonia acted swiftly she went in for a thrust to the chest but at the last second shifted her light saber until it was ran along her wrist, getting in close she moved so her saber would be at Matsu's neck, it was a bold move but she confident afford for her to get away like before.

 

[Syn]

Matsu flipped backwards at the first slash and cartwheeled to the left for the second as she moved to twirl and block deactivating her lightsaber for a moment to get into her friends defenses but stopped moving her hand up towards Adonia's chest Matsu looked at Adonia as she felt the heat at her neck and she grinned as she motioned for Adonia to look down and gave a smirk showing her blade deactivated and right near her heart for a double kill as she spoke through the force with a grin across her face. "Your getting faster, and that last move was good but I would still have had time to impale you." Slowly Matsu looked at Adonia as she nodded and backed away clipping her saber to her belt and grinning.

 

[Darius]

Adonia rolled her eyes, It was undeniable the Matsu had outmaneuvered her, but Adonia thought this came down to who struck first. "An interesting move Matsu, but don't forget that in a real fight you would have been dead before you could have activated you light weapon again." Adonia removed her saber from her friends neck, it yellow glow disappeared as she set it back in its holster on her corset, She presented Matsu with the appropriate bow and approached her putting a hand on her shoulder, "Good thing we are on the same side, or else we would never get anything done."


Adonia sat down with her lags crossed, her back strait she up to Matsu expecting her to sit and her. " Now that you've given me a test, lets see how you have improved with the force, not that running on the wall is elementary." Adonia Opened a up the pouch on her corset and she pulled out several smooth stones, and a small vial of water, Closing her eyes she lifted the stones into a slow orbit, after awhile she a few of the stones came together in the center the water formed belts around of the stones, with the remaining stones riding on them, Adonia had formed an atom, she smiled as she opened her eyes to look at Matsu, "So why did you want to do this today, get tired of beating up on the younglings?" Adonia laughed she hoped her joke wasn't taken to seriously, " Not that I'm complaining, you are my oldest friend, and as always it honors me to train with you." Adonia Loved Matsu, they had lived at the temple together since they were very little, she was like the sister that she never had, not that Adonia thought twelve brothers were not enough, but it wouldn't hurt to have back up.

 

[Syn]

Matsu looked at Adonia and nodded as she sat down and spoke with a grin showing with her fingers as legs. "It was not really difficult, you simply must run faster then the gravity that pulls you and I would have been fast enough to tap that switch." Slowly Mtsu focused as she levitated her tunic over and slipped it back on looking at what Adonia was doing and her words came out." The younglings are fun to work with but they are slow, your able to keep up with me better and I want to be fast." With another look Matsu grinned as she thought back to when she first met Adonia on her first day in the temple after Katagiri died making her stare go to one of the closed windows as she wondered.

 

[Darius]

Adonia could tell when Matsu was thinking about her past, she could always tell, especially when they were talking, it felt like her mind was put on hold. Being around Matsu was not as delicate as people thought, she was not a outgoing person, at least not in the way people expected, Adonia was one of the few people who knew and accepted that fact. Adonia could not concentrate on her practice with Matsu off on her own.


With a wave of her hand the water returned to the vial and the smooth stones lined up on the ground, Adonia rose to her feet, picked up her outer robes and placed them back on her body, Joining Matsu at the window she looked out into the endlessly busy sky of the planet. "What is it?" Adonia asked allowed, as she could no longer connect with Matsu through the force, "Don't try and hide it, I know what it means when you g looking off into the sky."
