DESCRIPTION
Small but mighty. Those are the best words to describe Droid P9-H1, also known as Bunbun. What began as a simple Leporidae-inspired companion droid quickly evolved into a medical droid when its creators, the Star Guardians, discovered it was possible to install a miniature lab in its chest cavity. As a result, the little droid evolved into a medical droid, suitable for all types of hospitals and doctors. Nobody saw it coming from the Star Guardians, but with so many droids running around, it was only a matter of time before they created their own! But how exactly does it work?

Simple!

Lifting Bunbun's right leg unlocks the plating protecting its chest cavity, revealing the miniature lab and detaching the tubing from the needle in said leg's paw. The tubing can be reattached to the needle after the tubing has been replaced and the miniature lab has been set up. Closing the chest cavity is as simple as lowering Bunbun's right paw to re-lock the tubing and manually clicking the plating into place. Now that the preparation is complete, the actual work can begin! When given the command, Bunbun's AI is programmed to look for veins on someone's arm or leg. Once the AI has identified such a vein, the droid will place its paw on top of it. Two metal platings in the droid's right front paw slide open, revealing the needle inside. The needle will eject from the paw and into the skin, taking a blood sample. That blood is immediately transferred to the lab, where basic tests are performed. The results of these tests will be digitally transferred to the owner's datapad or uploaded to the owner's computer using the computer probe!

So, what exactly are these fundamental tests? What every doctor wishes for! It can run the basic metabolic panel, a complete blood count, a thyroid panel, and basic nutrient tests for levels of vital nutrients such as iron or B vitamins. Everything you need to begin researching a patient right away!

Despite all of these medical benefits, Bunbun is still a recreational droid. Bunbun prefers to lie on the owner's lap or shoulder because of its personality chip, which makes it a devoted companion. Fortunately, thanks to the aluminum alloy and PVC plastic, the droid is lightweight. Bunbun's default voice box makes leporidae noises, but the settings can be changed to a humanoid voice. Be warned! A memory wipe can corrupt the droid's vocal library.

LEGALITY
Legal.

INTENT
To make a cute little bunny droid pet for my new character that will help her with her medical background. It will also allow other characters to have a bunny droid, an animal that has been lacking in the droid section. Besides that, it's also designed to provide the Star Guardians with another source of income.

RESTRICTIONS
There are almost no restrictions to Droid P9-H1, although the use of its needle without permission is considered illegal in many places.
