DESCRIPTION​

Once upon a time, a girl found some spare parts lying about. Well, the "parts" were a bomber's proton torpedo launcher and general assembly, but the important part is that they gave her an idea. There wasn't any real reason why she couldn't re-use the parts to build a personal weapon for herself. Using a mixture of blind luck, Force-assisted tweaking, and a lot of drugs, the girl managed to build a rather fearsome weapon which she lovingly named POW.

The design itself is rather ingenious in that it uses a break-action to load the torpedo and uses a built-in datapad and basic sensor components to lock onto targets. It can also fire by line-of-sight if needed. The entire weapon is also able to be folded into a square-ish shape using a mixture of the break-action, collapsible grip and sights, and carrying handle. However, the most important part besides the boom-part is the kick-ass paint job. Invidia knows you are jealous.

Uh... okay, so... this is a hand-held proton torpedo launcher, sorta like a grenade launcher/bazooka? Considering we've only ever seen PTs be mounted on ships or shuttles... I'm not sure if Clayton'd approve of this thing. It seems like it'd be super powerful, even for a one-shot thing.

Basically but more ghetto-SW-ish.

It'd still follow the 10m radius rule on explosives and w/e. I could just say that the blast inside of the radius is super deadly. TD's are about the same and the ones with a 10m radius would probably be larger than the ones seen in the movies (which I want to say were labeled as the 5m-radius types. Not 100% on that, though). Having it be a re-purposed PT launcher is mostly for flavor and effects because it just goes with my character.

I think about ammunition. Where do you (your charter) get ammo for this. All why make it overly complicated proton launcher if it is still got the power of a normal misses

Basically with a ghetto guidance system and wouldn't be considered disposable. The weapon isn't fire-and-forget, though. It's fire and STAY ON TARGET....STAY ON TARGET... but it can also just be a glorified bazooka. I can get super technical with it, if you really want, but I thought it better/easier/safer to just say what it does rather than how. Classic Star Wars.

1. She would legitimately carry around a hovercart if needed but you could probably strap a couple to your back, mujahideen-style

You act like this character has any idea about that, plus she'd be calling it Pow ICly anyway. She thinks she's super-clever. That other PCs would see it to be bad taste would make it even better.
