Hello. My name is Pock Zin. I was a Jedi Master of the Jedi Order before the Clone Wars. I left the Jedi in 8 GrS, because I believed that the Jedi were too narrow minded in their beliefs of the Force. When I left, the masters took my lightsaber apart, retrieved the crystal, and reassembled the hilt. The crystal was made into a pendant, which I wore for the rest of my life.
After I left the Jedi I traveled to the Tython System and eventually came to Ashla, the moon of the planet Tython. There I spent days in meditation. Then I heard, not audibly, the Force telling me to leave.
So I began travelling the galaxy. I eventually ended up in the Esstran Sector, in the Horuset system. There I studied the ancient Sith and their beliefs for a few months. Then I again felt the Force telling me it was time to move on.
I eventually ended up on Empress Teta. I eventually moved into a home there. And there I received many visions from the Force. I began to realize that there was more to the Force than any had yet realized.
The Unifying Force does exist, but so does the Living Force. In the ancient history of this galaxy many sentients believed both in gods (or a god) and the Force. The Jedi are among those who typically believe only in the Force, some even believe the Force is a god.
I have come to the conclusion that the Unifying Force is a god, but also that the Living Force is not one thing. I believe that the Living Force is actually multiple immortal beings (or gods if you prefer) that are under the Unifying Force.
In my time away from the Jedi and the politics of the Republic I spent many a day in meditation. I would listen to the Force speak to me about many things. I eventually came to refer to the Force as "Ellunvir," a name derived from words from various languages, meaning "lord," "overlord," "king," "glorious," "beautiful," and "god".
In 13 GrS, after the First Battle of Geonosis, I felt Ellunvir tell me that it was time to move on from Empress Teta. I eventually returned to Coruscant, enlisted, and requested a place in the Republic's new army, as I did not wish to be confined to being a Republic Guard. The Chancellor granted this request, giving me a position under Jedi General Shara Kall.
Over the next two years or so, Master Kall and I began to grow an attachment to each other. Shara had by this time learned much of what I believed and also had come to believe some of it herself. This was, however a problem for her as well as myself. As a Jedi, General Kall was not permitted to marry. And as I was a former Jedi the likelihood that our love be accepted at all was almost non-existent. Shara then began to make plans to leave the Jedi when the war was over.
When the Clone Troopers turned on us, we defended ourselves. We likely killed at least fifteen each. We ran, grabbing a ship that had strangely been left unattended. We flew to the closest planet and settled there. We assumed immediately that the Republic would become a dictatorship.
Shara and I had a son seven months after the fall of the Republic. Over the next several years we moved from planet to planet to avoid detection by the Sith Lords who had taken over the galaxy. Eventually Shara decided to settle down on Dantooine. This became our home. The Sith had not interest there, so we were out of the way at the time.
I would take trips now and then from planet to planet so as not to get uncomfortable with home. I of course always returned home to my wife and child.
Pock Zin was killed sometime during Darth Vader's Jedi Purge. However, how he died is unknown.
Kale, Pock's son, joined the Rebel Alliance as a pilot. He was not at the battle of Yavin, but he had felt the affects.
