[Fancybox2]We Have received a transmission from Bespin that a Shukula-class Heavy Corvette has been stolen by corsairs and is currently attacking trade vessels in that area. The Shukula-class Heavy Corvette is a classified warship, and cannot be allowed to remain in the hands of pirates, and scumbags that will use its power for chaos. A considerable force will be required to disable the Shukula-class Heavy Corvette, as such Protectorate assets have been authorized for use. The Bespin client has requested the ship simply be destroyed to prevent further embarrassment, however the Protectorate has ordered a Repossession order for detainment and seizure of the ship to add to the Protectorate's fleet. Note that the Shukula-class Heavy Corvette is rated for roughly 130 passengers and is likely packed to the brim with hostile pirates, and possibly hostages.

As is typical, once the target is located, dispatched units have authorization to engage. While repossession of goods is Mandatory, however destruction of ship is authorized in the event the situation cannot be contained.

Kae'Tl:​

Kae'Tl stood at the bridge of the Protectorate's Tayana-class Frigate. Bespin had requested the aid of the Kjlljk Protectorate on a serious matter and Kae'Tl was happy to oblige.

Herself and the crew were ready to hit hyperspace. Whatever was going to happen out there, Kae'Tl, as per normal, wasn't looking for an elongated skirmish, made clear by her frigate which was escorted by two squardrens of Nova's.

"Grand Councillor." the first mate spoke and Kae'Tl turned to the man. "We're about to exit hyperspace, sensors haven't picked up the target craft yet." He said.

"Very well, shields up, bring full payload online. Let's get out there and sniff around they're nound to show up.." she said being immediately responded with multiple ' Yes Ma'am's and yes grand councillor's and yes captain's.

The frigate exited hyperspace, it's long range scanners going to work immediately, numerous blips came up, mostly trade vessels and various civilian craft, all of them giving the new coming frigate a wide berth of space.

"Everyone eyes up, I want no civilian casualties, focus fire on the Corvette as soon as it's discovered. We don't know who they are but they have firepower at their disposal, no mistakes." She said over the Protectorate's secured comm link.

Yong Ki was well outside Bespin's system and was traveling at his fastest sub light speed HIs jump coordinates were already set he could be there in less than a minute. He was accompanied by 11 WASP's and 13 Nova's His Shakula was only waiting confirmation of the hostile's presence to move. This trap was well set there were numerous freighters supposed to jump with high value loads and single line jumps not requiring them to leave hyper space and then set new coordinates and jump again. This rogue corvette should act inside the system and they would be sorry. Yong Ki in addition to his Wookie Crew had an additional 130 Wardens all of whom understood Wookie. He really wanted this ship.

Zelkien was riding in a Picketing class corvette that the Kjlljk Protectorate let him borrow. Arriving just outside of Bespin ,Zelkien ordered his crew to get the sensory ray, shields and the laser cannons online. Once those things were online Zelkien and his crew started to search for the Shukula-class Heavy Corvette. Minutes quickly turned into hours and Zelkien was bored. Before leaving Zelkien told his crew to alert him if anything went wrong or if the Corvette showed up then he got up and went to his quarters. Zelkien was meditating on his old dead master when the ship shook violently and then silence. Two seconds later the alarm Zelkien ran as fast as he could to the bridge. When he finally approached the blast door the door opened and Zelkien step inside

@Brian so what happened at the end of your post?

Kae'Tl was alerted to a hail sent by the Protectorate's Picketing class corvette, apparently they were under attack on the opposite side of Bespin."Full speed, bring us about." She commanded the bridge crew,"Yong Ki the enemy craft has likely arrived and is attacking the Picketing class corvette on the opposite side of Bespin from me." Kae'Tl's ship lurched forward and began speeding up toward the location of her subordinate.

Meanwhile the full payload and shields of the frigate began to power up, ready to fire by the time it reached striking distance.

With but a minor adjustment to the coordinates Yong KI jumped with his 2 squadrons of star fighters. Exiting hyperspace Yong Ki saw a Shakula nose down facing the dorsal section of the Protectorates Picketing class corvette. "Nova an WASP squadrons engage the Hostile, target engines and shields. Forward shields full power, establish firing solutions, fire at will" ordered Yong KI. He had come in with his nose facing the belly of the hostile "Continue to Ping we don't want to be mistaken for them." His Ion cannons lead the way followed by the rest of the complement punching into the belly of hostile craft one turbo cannon targeting the shuttle bay door preventing any smaller ships from exiting.

Zelkien had to react fast in order to survive. Luckily his cannons were online and pointing in the right direction. Once he said fire it was a free for all. They were trading shots however who ever was firing at Zelkien had terrible aim. Zelkien began to turn the battle into a victory but they were still putting up a fight.
" Sir the shield are at 57% and decreasing fast. We need support to win this battle."

Kae'Tl arrived to the scene to find two of her ships engaged with the Shukula, all of its munitions were focused on her Picketing class corvette,"Oh no, that's not allowed.." She said as she gave the order to open up on the beast. Her turbo lasers coming to life at the same time it's did, while her and Yong Ki were focused on the Shukula, it remained focused on the Picketing Corvette, It's turbo-lasers coming on line and beginning to smash the picketing class corvette's shields.

"Nova's engage!" They were a step ahead of her however and had already began flying toward the enemy craft, Ion cannons starting to fire. The Shukula's shields would hopefully pop soon allowing the Protectorate to disable the ship.

Yong Ki's 13 novas and 11 wasps had finally destroyed the shields surrounding the engines their laser cannons now directly targeting the engines of the Shahula caused almost immediate flare out as the engines died. Yong Ki could see that Kae Tl's Frigate and 2 squadrons of Nova's had arrived so he ordered " Zelkien, alternate shields and get out there! Move to low 6 on my craft immediately." As he reduced fire on the belly only firing occasionally at the launch bay. "Sensors continuous sweeps of the launch bay, cease fire but lock on the launch bay in case of movement." Ordered Yong Ki.

Kae'Tl continued to focus the Tayana's turbolasers on the Shukula, specifically targeting it's weapons systems, meanwhile independently focusing her dozen laser cannons on the Shukula's engines for a moment. When the engines popped and the ship stopped moving Kae'Tl ceased fire and pulled her fighters off. Her tractor beam projector hummed to life and the Shukula began drifting toward her ship.

"Protectorate, attach boarding tunnels and prepare to board the enemy vessel. Wardens at the ready, breach and clear, The number of hostiles is unknown. Confirm target recognition, they may have prisoners on board." Kae'Tl ordered over the Protectorate's secured comm link.

Yong Ki observed two escape pods launch , transmitting to the picketing class corvette he advised him to take up targeting of the shuttle bay door of the enemy vessel and he then went to collect the two escape pods. When both were on board his ship he returned to his overwatch position on the enemy vessel allowing the wardens he had on board to deal with the occupants of the escape pods.

The enemy Shukula had come to a complete stop with its engines dead, and Kae'Tl's tractor beam.

"Extend the boarding tunnels, Wardens prepare to breach, expect heavy reaistance." Kae'Tl ordered.

The men had all approached the boarding area and were fully prepared to enter when Kae'Tl arrived,"Lets make this quick gentlemen, civilian and prisoner casualties should be avoided, but not at the cost of Protectorate lives." The opposite end of the tunnel had been secured from the inside, and her men had placed a breach charge on it.

Ready? One of the Wardens said.

Chief, 4 of the passengers aboard the escape pods were killed the remaining have been taken into custody. We are confirming the identities of all persons present will advise. Yong Ki ordered, "continue scans," and even as he said and report if the other escape pods launch, both launched, "well never mind, let's go get them." He chuckled.

 

[Mad Dog]

A little ways behind the vanguard stood Kae'Tl the only one in the group not wearing armor or brandishing a firearm. leading her crew effortlessly into the heat of battle, the rag tag team of misfits as they were they had almost become like a family to her.

After a moment, a pair of lightsabers flew from her waist cape and landed perfectly in her hands, she activated them both at the same time and a beautiful red glow filled the boarding area, a dark core red lightsaber in her right hand and a standard core copy in her left."Let's go." she whispered to herself.

On board the corvette a solitary scream could be heard over the blaster fire,"It's the Sith!" although incorrect, the voice was clearly filled with a misinformed but still fitting fear, the Protectorate had come for them.

Kae'Tl and the Wardens stormed the enemy ship, six times more firepower was going into the cargo hold than was coming out, the Wardens all equipped with the Protectorate's signature double barreled blaster rifles.

The sound of blaster fire and screaming men rang loudly throughout the corridors. It was quite obvious the battle was on her side, and her intervention was not necessary but What the hell she thought, I haven't stretched my legs in a while thinking back to her last kill which occurred a little more than two weeks ago, this brought a smile to her face which was a rare occurrence, cute.. she thought.

As the crew were eliminating the opposition Kae'Tl began running, fast toward them, she launched herself into the air, so perfectly it had to be force assisted, landing near a frightened crewmen of the corvette who quickly fell to the floor in several pieces after two blurs of red light ran through his body. Utilizing the Shien form Kae'Tl moved from location to location, usually by long elaborate jumps, dispatching several "enemies" with quick Juyo techniques, leaving her opponents in pieces. The crewmen she was cutting down obviously had little to no training, with the exception of a few who appeared to have some sort of organization, though nothing resembling any military experience.

When the last two escape pods were brought aboard and the Pirates removed from them. A voice of one of his Wardens came over the Com,, "Chief,one of the Fatalities off the last Pod appers to be the former Republic Senator from Vakkar ." "We are still attempting to identify all the parties aboard. This may take a couple hours." finished the Warden.

The dust settles and the skirmish in the cargo hold had ended. Three men had surrendered, and after the Wardens secured the room, a team was called in to remove the cargo and transfer it to her Frigate after it was checked for explosives or other dangerous substances and items.

Of the three surrerendered men, one was a Dorian. I hate Rodians.. Kae'Tl thought. Kae'Tl plunged her saber through the man's midsection and out through his right shoulder. Looking to the remaining two men,"Surrendering does not make you safe. Your cooperation is required to live..." she said before interrogating the two men to discover the number of hostile, their general loadouts, and the number of prisoners. With threats of death upon false information, the men willingly gave the information.

The information Was not easy to hear. Kae'Tl fired up her coms,"Yong Ki, we have ober a hundred hostiles on board here. They started with nearly one-hundred and fifty. So minus whatever they lost in the battle and the twenty we've dispatched here in the hold, I'm estimating they still possess over a hundred combatants... Also they have prisoners.."

 

[Wayrider]

"Subtract 32 for the ones we have on life boats." Replied Yong Ki. "We are moving to attach, can you advise where the prisoners are being held?. We will breach nearby." Finished Yong Ki.

The majority of the crates had been of loaded, and the Wardens were ready to breach the door. Kae'Tl stood back a ways and watched them work. She had never been disappointed by her men, and their determination was without equal, thanks mostly to a form of mind control Kae'Tl referred to as 'Encouraged Patriotism'.

The Wardens breached the door leading into the guts of the Corvette. Three or four of them breaking off into each newly discovered doorway to clear the rooms they hid. Once the room was clear they rejoined the march down the hallway. Little by little the opposition was eliminated or taken into custody.

Once the line of Wardens reached the mess hall things got dirty. Seven of the pirates were standing in the mess hall using their prisoners as shields, holding blades or blasters to their throats and heads.

Kae'Tl approached the front of the line,"Gentlemen.. if you release the prisoners and surrender, you will be taken into custody safely and no harm will come to you.." Kae'Tl said as she activated the twin sabers she held in her hands. Though she'd said it so calmly and in a trustable voice, Kae'Tl honestly didn't know at this point whether she'd eventually give the order to execute these men regardless.

The men held their ground for a few moments, deciding whether or not to believe what this woman was telling them. She held two red lightsabers which typically meant Sith, but they also knew the Sith don't operate way out here and would not likely go after a pirate gang like this.

"If you harm or kill any of these people, there will be no pardoning what you have done.." Kae'Tl said, as if she had actually planned to pardon them in the first place anyway..

Yong Ki and his Wardens entered through the front hatch. As each room or alcove was cleared one Warden would drop off at each intersection to hold the area in case of a missed combatant or straggler. They found the cockpit empty and only ran into any significant opposition as they were nearing the middle of the ship the ensuing firefight left two Wardens injured and 31 pirates dead.

Kae'Tl ordered the Wardens to sweep the ship a second, then a third time. After she was satisfied that there were no hostiles onboard she had the twenty prisoners interviewed, mostly to determine if there was a pirate hiding amongst them.

Satisfied that there was not, Kae'Tl had her engineering team prep the Shukula for towing back to Terminus for repairs,"Once we fix it back up, this should be a fine addition.." she said to no one on particular. Which earned her an agreement from the nearest shipmen.

Back at the bridge, after less than twenty minutes the ship was ready to be towed,"Lets get out of here.." she said.
