Ophuchi talk

A good deal of what you need to know is in the Elias profile (as well as the discussion), and the discussion here. I think I may put together a list of important parts from TCO that contain important Ophuchi info relevant to this timeline too.

I already expressed my interest in making an Ophuchi, all I need is a bit more info, though from this thread I already got a character idea. :D

Yeah for some reason I think of a cross between a jawa and a tusken raider. With some sort of giant horns sticking out of its head and little tentacles for fingers...

No but seriously I am going to look at more things later tonight I think I might try to make such a character if you start this rp and be willing to roleplay in it as well.

I'm glad to see that there's still so much interest. There really isn't much of a plan for the future of this group other than a group is going to be created, it's going to be called the Ophuchi Clan, and they're going to be in a sanctuary in the Dune Sea, but with so many RPers I'm sure we'll be able to think of something to help keep us occupied beyond just searching for new people.

Cool. So if you reread the wee bit I posted(I edited it) does it seem to fit well with what an Ophuchi can be?

It seems to be a good start. The image wasn't what I would've expected, but I didn't really account for the different types of people that would become part of this. I actually think her unique look is an asset to the RPs the group would have, because if people have so many different backgrounds and they all have to come together and live together then it could present some interesting drama.

I had a concept for an Opuchi, but since he's pretty much a carbon copy of my Kiffar, I think Ommar could join. As you said, people would have different backgrouds, and it wouldn't be too difficult for the line to go all the way down to Kiffu. :3

I never detailed the parents origins, so those can be explored and he could be an Opuchi for all we know -- though I admit the thin line that lead him there could make him a tiny wee bit harder to find.

Imo a profile isn't a profile unless the character is actually being used.

Spam factory seems more fitting.

History and description: Rolan, born on Morellia, was always fascinated by buildings, the power, the might, the height. As a child, he cared for the sick the needy, amongst his life he aided in projects to help the homeless, and always believed in defending the weak, due to his familys strong virtues. This is most likely due to his lack of a family, and felt that those he helped, he could call friends. He was alone most of his life, with naught but a mother, who before she died, gave him a small family heirloom, a special hammer that could be for both battle, and to build with. He was protective of others, and thought that to build would mean to aid them. However, he could not stand staying on Morellia, he felt restless. Restless was a accurate word for him, always moving about, always keeping himself occupied, but eventually he took his crafting and engineering skills off planet when he was old enough. He knew that he could make a difference in other places, create great wonders for people, like for Tatooine. Those wonderful deserts, he knew that in those lands, he could make great places for people. Rolan had been no slouch to battle, however, as in his travels, many times he was forced to defend himself. With his incredible strength, but that was due to his line of work. He could be usually seen carrying a rather large pack on his back, his powerful, special hammer in his hand, up against his shoulder.

Gear: Rolan holds a -vast- amount of tools. From power-shovels, to concussion-hammers, even some controlled explosives, he keeps a vast amount of tools with him in his pack, or on his person. Mainly his tools do with construction, digging, working with metal and stone. Amongst his items, their is a family heirloom that he keeps, though it is said long ago it was built by his ancestor, who have some connection to the Bendu, his Grandfather said. This hammer is both used to create, and destroy. It uses a shockwave function when it collides with objects, which can take out walls or possibly small structures.

I would like to make an Ophuchi kinda char, but I'd need to make sure s/he wouldn't rot as soon as the intro thread is finished.
